Excellent service from service tech advisor. Routine maintenance check up was completed in a timely matter. The reason for the 4 Star: at the time of purchase of my 4Runner (March 2020) AutoNation stated that I had a lifetime of auto washing at any AutoNation Dealership and courteous shuttle service. The pandemic virus initially halted these services, but it has been over 1 year and still no auto washing service being performed. You would think AutoNation would give it’s customer a voucher for a washing at another car wash. This is reflective in the 4 Star Rating.

I researched before I bought my (then) new Tacoma and I compared pricing from Tampa to West Palm Beach. Fort Myers beat everyone & made the transaction process almost effortless. I have been getting my vehicles serviced there for years now and have only once had an issue. My issue was the time it took to do my service, it was way longer than what it should have been. However there was a good reason for it as hurricane Irma was looming in the not to far distance. Most of their technicians had left early to vacate the area or taken off to prepare for the hurricane, being a first responder I had to stay and took for granted that others were leaving the area. I was emailed a questionnaire a week or so later which I filled out. Fort Myers Toyota contacted me within two hours of receiving my questionnaire wanting to make things right. They explained the situation and gave my vehicle a free detailing inside and out for my inconvenience. I was thankful for that as my Tacoma sat out in the hurricane and needed a good detailing. Based on their great pricing and good will I will continue to make all future new vehicle purchases from this dealership. I have had several services since then without any time constraint issues and they have always treated me good. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to pick up a new Toyota.

I brought my car in for brake repair. They did a great job! And quick too. Very efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. I 100% recommend. 5 stars. A few weeks later I came back to have 4 new tires installed. They did a good job, but it took 4 hours!

Liz the accessories manager was amazing I tried two different Toyota dealerships for my tires and lift on my Tacoma and couldn’t revive even a call back. Then I called Auto Nation and Liz took care of me right away. The work was done perfectly and she was extremely professional and courteous. Saved some money as well. Service was good. My only complaint was that I made an appointment for 8:45am and waited there while the oil change and tire rotation were being done. It was done 3 hours later. What’s the point of making an appointment ?
I had a great experience. The sales associate that i had was amazing. From start to end he was there helping us out and showing us info about our car. I mean the gentlemen did a great job. Very honest individual. For anyone that shopping for a car i will recommend Mr. Joey San Juan to show you around. You wont regret it.

The experience was excellent. I met with the service writer, (Denise), the car was taken in and the work was done. I was very happy with the work and staff. I also asked Denise to reset my safety features on my car which she did happily.
I went to both Toyota in Naples (where I live) & Ft Myers – looked at the same car, same model, same package everything. AutoNation in Ft Myers gave me the better deal BY FAR. Kevin L. is the salesman that helped me & I really appreciate his non-pushy, easy going, realistic nature about the whole process. First time I didn’t get annoyed with someone during a car buying process and I would definitely go back next time I need a new car!! They help you every step of the way, even after you leave with your new car they will check in with you and help you any way they can.

Sylvester Jennings was a great service advisor. The services provided were also good however; when I take my auto in for service, I expect it to be returned without seat, radio or lights adjustments. It is rare for my seat to be in the same position as when I dropped my car off; rare for my radio station be unchanged and rare for my headlights to be left on for safety purposes. This service was no exception: seat had to be readjusted for my driving comfort, radio station changed to something I would never listen to and headlights turned off. Very annoying to me.

I had an appointment for brake service. I arrived on time and said I would wait. After 6 hours of waiting I was told that they couldn’t finish my car that day and I would have to come back the following day to pick it up. They did furnish me with a rental car at their expense but I was out the 6 hours I had waited plus 2 hours of commute time for an extra round trip home. In spite of the negatives, I would like to comments my service advisor Greg who couldn’t have been more helpful throughout the process. He definitely deserves commendation.

The service work took exactly the amount of time it was supposed to have. I asked for a 30K mile check up with an oil change. I expected the total bill to be $100-$150 based on past experience. Little did I know they were going to change fluids in various parts of the car. When I receive the bill it was almost $500. Make sure you ask them what will be done to your vehicle and how much the different service will cost. Shocker.

I took my car to get checked for what I thought need urgent care and thankfully did not find anything wrong with it. I don’t have a toyota, I just took it there out of convenience for my work schedule. But any service that my car ever needs, I will bring it to Toyota just because of Gillian. Quick and easy as usual, Only issue was transportation, since the pandemic they done away with the transportation which is sad, it cost me over 25$ Uber fees. You can still have transportation with CDC guidelines and precaution measures. That was the only disappointment.

“This review is about their service department. I have no experience purchasing a vehicle from them. First off, I’d like to start off by saying that I have no issues with the people working at AutoNationToyota of Ft Myers…everyone that I’ve dealt with there has been very nice. Also, we’ve had no issues with the work that has been performed on our vehicle these past few years. What I have an issue with is the upselling that they do. I recently brought in our Highlander for its 60K mile service. For those of you who don’t know, the service intervals every 30K miles are the most expensive ones. Prior to going to the dealership I went on to see what the recommended service was for my vehicle. When I met with the service advisor I was shown a big list of recommended service items that weren’t on the Toyota list. Included in AutoNation’s recommended work not on Toyota’s 60K list was an intake throttle body and fuel injector cleaning, a “”engine performance service””, and a brake fluid changeout. All in all, with that and the oil change and the inspections they were supposed to do it came out to well over $700. When I complained that another Toyota dealership was doing the throttle body/fuel injector cleaning for $100 less they did take 10% off my bill. From what I’ve been able to determine, these are all things that are nice to do, not necessary to do. Honestly, my main problem with this is that it’s presented to the customer like it’s a Toyota recommendation, not optional service that the dealership recommends. Apparently this is a common practice among dealerships unfortunately. My final nit-pick is that they no longer wash your car. When I went out to get my car and saw that it was dirty I went back in to ask why and was told that their car wash was down indefinitely due to covid. When I asked how that had anything to do with covid the representative wasn’t able to give me an answer. Makes no sense to me. Obviously somebody has to get into your car to perform service and drive it back to the lot so how would getting a car wash introduce any more risk?”

He contacted me after the car was surveyed, apprised me of the costs involved, and kept me up to date with where they were in servicing the car. It was an excellent experience! We asked for our regular customer service representative Tyler and were told he was off on our appointment date,We happened to see him at work and were sent with a different representative that didn’t go over the service with us at all just had me sign papers when we first walked in and when the service was done. Tyler is very detailed when it comes to what’s done to our vehicle whenever we get it service and We appreciate it that. “I financed a brand new SUV from this location last week. My original experience over 2.5 years ago left me distraught and regretting the vehicle I leased. I did not feel good about how it went. However, I was recently contacted via e-mail about turning in my lease somewhat early due to positive equity in my truck, which I wanted to do–especially because it wasn’t a call or multiple messages of bombardment. It seemed like the right time to give AutoNation a second chance. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Charles (“”Scott””) Hickman was such an easy-going guy and I am so grateful to have met him. I never felt uncomfortable or forced into my sale. There was no back and forth, he respected our privacy when I asked for a minute, and he listened to my needs while trying to get a price that worked for both parties. We were on vacation At Sanibel island and our new Toyota Tacoma had a malfunction and told us to go to the dealer. I called all lines were busy. So I drove to the dealership. I was able to get in line for service. Sylvester helped ease my mind about having our car looked at and back to us the same day if the work was not significant. Unfortunately they do not have loaner vehicles so we had to rent a car for $35 to get around for the day. But other then that service was great. Workers were very helpful and present.

OK I arrived at 6:30 because I knew they open at seven but I was surprised to see service advisor was there I got there at 6 AM he said pleasantly surprised. I had hit a traffic island very hard in my left front tire was at 17 pounds pressure. I also had seen a pool of liquid under the car thinking maybe I had punctured something underneath The advisor told me it was probably just water from the AC which turned out to be correct. Show the mechanic check to see if the wheels were in alignment were out of alignment and they were so I had a one alignment left on my alignment package which I used in the service advisor recommended that I balance the wheels which I did they were on sale for 60 bucks for all four tires. When I got home I googled tire balancing and definitely based on when I read it Google I was advised the right thing to do by balancing them. Service service advisor was very helpful, pleasant and easy to get along with I don’t know what else to say

Purchased a new 4Runner here recently. Overall, the experience was good and I felt I got a fair price on the vehicle I was shopping for compared to the dealership closer to home. Would like to shout out Daniel Rodriguez. Dan was the sales person who walked us through the process all day. He was patient, informative, and helpful while we test drove several vehicle trims. My wife and I appreciated his friendly and easy to talk to personality (and excellent lunch recommendation), as it took several hours sitting around the dealership to finalize the purchase.

“At the outset, I must say this is review is long in coming. We bought our 2018 Highlander in December of 2017. There was an issue that we found with the car after we had picked it up. I contacted our salesman, Joe and it was sent to the service dept to resolve “”after”” the sale. A little concerned that it was to happen after the sale, my uneasiness was swiftly put at bay when we met Dan Dixon. He had the entire back console panel replaced due to a small scratch. He knew our satisfaction was all that mattered and he simply “”made it happen””! Since then, we’ve had him handle servicing of this car and our 2007 Camry that we also purchased from Auto Nation Toyota. Dan is an absolute professional, an expert and a MASTER OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. We took our Camry infor a recall, low pressure fuel pump, the car was returned to us smelling so badly of gasoline that we have had to leave the windows open for several days. It still smells like gas inside the car. We called the service agent to report the smell and we were told the car will smell like gas for a few days. Of course there can be no repair that should smell of gasoline for several days. It is extremely disappointing that the problem was brushed off instead of handled properly.

Worried about being late and stacked behind many others , I showed up BEFORE the crack of dawn for a 7am appt. Dan ,my service guy, walked in his office ,got everything squared away and immediately came out and got started.I had prepaid for my services when I purchased my Highlander and there was no haggling about what was due me versus what I felt needed to be done.He showed me what services were due on my contract and also told me of a recall that I did not know of. He promised to get me out of there by 9:30 am with a new recall fuel pump and 3 services . I was able to balance all 3 of my checkbooks and read several chapters of my book while watching the sun rise. All in ALL a great experience and still had most of my day left.

Our sales associate, Josh N, was professional and polite. He worked with us to make the sale, but did not pressure us to buy. We went there knowing what we wanted and how much we should pay, so being prepared is a must. We leased our Highlander Limited. The first offer was a lease payment considerably higher than the deal we worked out. Josh made multiple trips to his manager, but returned quickly with a response. I gave 5 stars because I know this is a reflection on his performance and I would highly recommend him based on his customer service and knowledge of the vehicles. The finance part is another story. It is my understanding they were short staffed in the finance department that evening so waiting was not a problem. We waited around 2 hours to meet with Richard in finance. The dealership had closed for the day. (Josh waited with us which we appreciated). I should also mention that Josh wore his mask the entire time he worked with us. In fact, everyone wore a mask, except for Richard. We had to sit in his little office for about 30 minutes. We wore our masks the entire time. Not Richard. No mask and no offer to put a mask on. We know it was late, but it was not our fault that we were there well past business hours. Richard was just pushed papers in front of me and told me to sign. He seemed annoyed that I wanted to take time to read what I was signing and came across as condescending when I refused a service agreement he tried to slip into the deal. We can deal with the condescension but him not wearing a mask, during this time of Covid, was disrespectful to us and did not set a good example for the business.

This was one of the worst experiences in a dealership. I called to make an appointment for new windshield wipers and a new battery. I arrived at 10 am (My appointment time). I was informed that it would be 2 hours. A long time but okay. My husband and I walked around for a while and received a call at noon stating they had to go pick up the battery and it would be another hour. We spoke with 2 different managers to be informed that they couldn’t pick the battery up until noon and it was on its way back. Meanwhile my car was sitting outside of the service center the entire time. After 3 hours I saw it sitting there. Was told once again that it would be another hour. So after sitting for 4 hours I finally got my car finished. My complaint is that I sat there for 4 hours waiting on something that they knew wouldn’t be back until after 1 when I could have used my own car to have went to lunch or somewhere besides sitting there. The complete failure to acknowledge that I was just sitting there and could have easily left and returned when they had the battery. Also my appointment was for a BATTERY. Shouldn’t they have made sure it was in stock???

One of the best car purchase I ever had… Amazing price, most of the deal was done on the phone/email, with little effect, cause I live far away… Paul C took care of me… Price was amazing and least 4 days of looking at other dealers all over Florida, they destroyed them all in price/service, plus I didn’t have to haggle at all. It was that good, that I didn’t want lose the deal at all and have someone else pick up the ride. I do serious shopping when I car shop, Also easily will and did drive 3.5 hours to pick it up a car and there zero surprises. Even slightly less on the discussed price. Could not find any con in the slightest. Maybe offer a water when you arrive, that I remember (which I didn’t need). If that’s the only fault at a dealership. That’s a winner, hook line and sinker…. I was extremely disappointed with the service department because they called ME to set up my first annual visit for routine maintenance. I asked for an early time so there wasn’t a long delay in their customers. I was told people with appointments get preference, but after checking in, I was promised car would be done in an hour, but after 1,5 hours my car still hadn’t even been checked yet, and waiting room was filled with people! Was two hours for something that really only took ten minutes for them to perform.

Overall, our experience at Auto Nation Fort Myers was a positive one. Our salesperson, Brieanna Rau, was professional, personable and sensitive to our needs. The final purchase experience at delivery could have been more streamlined, however. Over three hours in a car dealership to close the deal seems unnecessary.

Took an hour and a half for oil change, tire rotation, and maintenance checklist. Car wash was broken. Well, I guess that happens, I just wonder why a repair shop couldn’t fix it. HOWEVER, Jiffy Lube at least teaches the maintenance personnel how to clean the bugs off the windshield rather than just leave them there. When I asked what can be done about that spare tire (the one under the car that takes forever to crank down to access) that loses pressure so that the low pressure light comes on every few months, I was told I have to just add air to it. They did do that, but next time it’s my turn.

“Our experience with AutoNation Toyota Fort Myers on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 was miserable. Their treatment of us as customers was unprofessional and rude. We had responded to an internet advertisement for a used Mercedes Benz. We called on Monday and made an appointment with “”Josh”” to see the car the following day (today). After driving for 45 minutes we called to say we were five minutes away and he said he’d have the car ready and be waiting for us. When we arrived, he wasn’t there and we sat in Josh’s office for 20 minutes while they went to find him. He and the Used Car Manager showed up and with no apology, hurriedly informed us that we could not drive the car but, only look at the car because it had not yet been “” prepped””, meaning that we’d have to come back tomorrow if we actually wanted to drive it! This is after a 45 minute drive to get there and 20 minute wait for him to show up. Josh then took us to another facility down the road to see the car. We found the car but, of course, Josh forgot the keys so we had another wait while he found them. We finally got into the car (a convertible) and asked if we could see how the top worked. Well it did not which was the same for some other normal functions. We said thank you and left. We received NO apology for making us wait, NO apology for suggesting that if we wanted a test drive we’d have to come back at a later date. NO apology for advertising a car that was NOT checked out by the dealership and, NO apology for showing us a car with a convertible top that would NOT work. A professional sales staff would have made all of these issues clear during our telephone conversation of the previous day before asking a customer to drive 45 minutes to see a car that was broken and that we could not drive. You will note below how they responded. My response and suggestion to them would be to hire responsible sales people who have manners.”

At first my experience with Autonation Toyota was good. I felt my sale associate Diego was going a little fast. It seamed like he just wanted to make a sale. I have previous experience in Toyota Sales and was a top sales associate at my dealership. That is not how we did things. After we found a vehicle and had it brought in from another dealership the back up camera didnt work and I was told they would take care of it. When i took it back to service on Monday they had no idea why I was there and ant took all day to get approval to get it fixed. This should have been taken care of prior to me arriving.

Purchased a vehicle from their used department in May 2020. I cancelled the extended vehicle protection plan that was offered shortly after and was told I would receive a full refund in 8-10 weeks. It has now been 7 months. I have called and emailed several times asking for an update and still can not get a single response from the financial manager that helped me purchase the car, William Sowers. The customer service is great until they have your money. I can’t even get directed to speak to anyone and the receptionist constantly sends me to voicemails rather than helping connect me with anybody that can help.

“Thought the service time-bringing the card till the service was completed was way too long. Then when I got in the car, my XM radio was off (I always have it on) and an FM station was on (annoying). After leaving the dealership, the center screen telling me my mph, time and temp was stuck on a screen for fixing a tire. I had to drive back to the dealership and had them correct as the buttons to change the screens did not work for me (again annoying). Finally a screen said “”phone not connected.”” I had to go back to the dealership the next day to get that issue resolved. The service tech told me that my phone turned off the connections (????) and maybe the phone had an update (?????). Again extremely annoying. The dealer changed the wiper blades per my request. Was surprised at the amount the wiper blades charge of $57. Thought that charge was too high. The car had the tire pressure light on. Service rep told me that there was a tear in one of the tires. A new tire was placed on the car at no charge due to a protection plan. Felt after the 15,000 mile service call that included a tire rotation and new tire, the car drove smoother. To reiterate, felt the service time was too slow, charge for he wiper blades was too high and three minor annoying electronic issues.”

Recently went to Auto Nation Toyota of Fort Myers, FL, for service on my 2020 4RUNNER. I was greeted promptly upon pulling into the truck service department. I arrived at 8:11 a.m., for an 8:10 a.m., appointment. They asked if I was dropping it off. I told them no, I was a disabled veteran and had my service dog with me, we would be waiting. I was told I was looking at a minimum 3-4 hour wait. What? For squeaking brakes on a truck with 7000 miles on it? I have an appointment! I had no choice but to wait. 4 hours later we were called to the desk, told they said there was dust on the pads and the brakes were cleaned. Sent us on our way. Car wasn’t given a complimentary wash or vacuumed. No paper on the interior floors. Drivers seat all the way back so my service dog couldn’t get in the truck until I moved the front seat forward! I should have listened to the many others and gone to the Naples dealership.

Love the van, but not the service received. 1- The price they give you online is only for cash buyers. When I asked about the financing I was told that it would be an extra $750. Yes, the online price is the competitive price so it’s either finance or an extra $750. At that point I wanted to walk out, wife was so tired of shopping she just wanted to get it and go. Manager says it’s going to be like 40 minutes, surprise! It wasn’t. We were there for close to another 4 HOURS!

Quick and efficient. They move a lot of vehicles through here but do it fairly smoothly. My car was done on time as promised. Only problem I had was finding my way around. There’s 2 service areas, and if your car is a Rav4 Adventure, you shouldn’t wait in the line with regular car as I unknowingly did. You have to go to the truck service area. Otherwise, great service.

I went in for my 25,000 service and a recall. The 25,000 service is a tire rotation and the recall was a wire to be clipped in which takes all of 5 minutes. My vehicle sat in the waiting area out side for 70 minutes prior to it going in. I was told it would be take around 1 1/2 to 2 hours max. I went inside to ask why my vehicle is taking so long to get inside and was told they were getting it in. There seems to be a lot of walking around outside and slow moving service techs. I like the dealership due to location but I would drive further for better service. Time is precious and to sit for 2 1/2 hours seems a little to long when I had an appointment scheduled. More consideration needs to be done to accommodate the customer. If the customer is given a time to arrive to have service done why do they wait 70 minutes before the vehicle goes into service? Are they over booked this much?

I brought my 2017 Tundra to the Auto Nation Toyota Fort Myers service center for a starting issue. I explained what was occurring to the service writer Shelley K. She listened to my explanation and said she had an idea of what the problem might be but couldn’t say for sure until a technician diagnosed it. The issue she believed was occurring involved the Flex Fuel system and a computer process. Shelley checked and found that if the issue was related to the fuel system, it would still be covered under warranty. Since the issue was going to take an undetermined amount of time, she arranged for me to have a rental vehicle at no cost. The repair was completed and I had my truck back the next day. My truck is running great again. I would like to thank everyone who was involved with the repair but especially Shelley who took the time to listen even though she was obviously very busy that day. I really want to thank her for making the arrangement for a loaner car so I didn’t have to wait all day only to find out the repair would require my truck to stay overnight. Thank you again Shelley K and the Auto Nation Toyota service department.

They sold him a car that was a total lemon…not safe to drive on the highway. They took it back, but I could not get my other car back. Would have been nice to know since my husband drives to work and back on the highway and the engine light was on the next day. And the car had 4 different tires from 4 manufacturers. They insisted that they buyer should have done his homework better and they did nothing wrong. Then they hooked us up with a salesman who had worked there 1 week and couldn’t answer any of my questions. I wouldn’t buy a car from them if they were the only dealership in town. Weasels!

Have sent two emails (one to salesperson Xynthia and one to main email account) and still no response. Have purchased dozens of vehicles over decades, and am truly disappointed in customer service at this dealership.

Our salesman, Paul Columbus, not only knows his products, but he seems to sense what his customers really want to know about. The Highlander Platinum, which we asked for and bought, is so loaded with features, gizmos and technological wizardry, that it would take a month to explain and demo all. Paul, on two substantial test drives, was able to hit the highlights he believed would be of most interest and use to us and was just about right on for all. Also, the color we wanted turned out to be difficult to locate, Paul did not try to sell us other models or colors. He stood with us until we got what we wanted. The back office is another story. We have been looking for a Honda Odyssey for some time and finally found one through our credit union app, when led us to Auto Nation Toyota Fort Myers. We got preapproved with our credit union for 2.75% and brought the draft in to purchase the van. My husband went in and spoke with the finance manager and was told “we do not deal with that specific credit union” and told him we were approved for 4.7% with a different bank but said he could “do better” and gave us a rate for 3.7%. My husband called me and I said to walk away since they won’t honor our preapproved draft. The finance manager was trying to make us feel like we HAD to go with “their” bank which was a flat out lie. After a little negotiating the FM said “what if I can beat the 2.75% rate your credit union gave you? Would you go through our bank? Let me see what I can do.” He comes back with a rate of 2.70% so we moved forward. This is the kind of sneaky/sketchy business that will turn good customers like us away. Our sales rep Brieanna was amazing and the total time we spent on site was less than two hours. Everything was very pleasant and we will definitely go back but will request a different finance manager to close our deal. Today was a lower supportive day. My car was not sanitized after the work was completed. I had to walk all over looking for my car in the parking area, even more sad, I asked for my doors to stay locked as I open the driver’s door. When I went to check out they said you owe $50 for that. What happened to telling the consumer the price first. All my friends that bought their cars from Autonation stay locked..they set it for them, no charge etc. Makes me said with the way things are in the world today that they had to charge a price for a service that’s in the car. Probably the best experience buying a car at a dealership, luckily for me the punta gorda dealer was awful which made me try fort myers. Paid almost $4000 less for 2021 rav4 xle premium, than punta gorda was going to sell me for a 2021 prius xle, with way less haggling. The rav4 msrp is $1500 more than the prius. The person who checked me in said they had something better then the coupon I had received. My fault that I was in a hurry to leave that I did not read the invoice closely. Staff is always excellent as far as friendly and helpful. 3rd lease, always ask for oil change appointment followed by just bring it in as walk in which has been between 1 and half to 3 hour wait. I drive 3 mi to work n back with normal outside travel. Rarely travel over 50 mph and no hits to curbs or potholes to find yet again car was aligned with an even tow causing cupping on tires on the great Bridgestone tires rated 30k which last about 15 with regular driving. (I have sold tires for 20 plus years and drive w a 2 yr old to know the difference between bad alignment, unsatisfactory tires, and operational errors). All in all, good experience. Aware they can’t judge driver errors which occur. Highly rated in comparison from others.

I had an 11:10 a.m. appointment for an oil change. When I arrived at 11:00, there was no one outside the service area to take my information or key. I waited for about 5 minutes before someone came out. After giving them my keep and talked with an agent I waited for the car to be serviced. An hour later I asked the agent, Greg how much longer will it take. It usually only takes about 20 to 30 minutes. He told me they didn’t even start on my car yet and it isn’t even in the service bay yet and that it would take another hour and maybe even longer. I told him this wasn’t a walk-in but a confirmed appointment. He said he knew and that I could either cancel the appointment or continue to wait. It wasn’t finally ready until 1 p.m. Two hour wait for an oil change. I would have appreciated it if Greg had told me up front that it would take a lot longer than usual in the beginning and I would have rescheduled. From reading another review, I see that happened to someone else but their excuse was it was election day. This wasn’t on election day. This was on the 5th of November on a Thursday. I have to say, I’ve always had great service with AutoNation and this is the first time I’ve run into a problem with the service department as far as waiting for two hours for an oil change.

The problem is the timing. Consistently, this dealership over-schedules. This time the work was not done until nearly three and a half hours from my appt time! My past experiences have been that it always takes longer than expected, but this time was particularly egregious. While I could have arranged to leave and return to pick up the car, the work required suggested this should be done in the one to two hour window. Therefore, it was more time efficient for me to wait. Taking twice that amount of time meant half my day was wasted. I do not feel as if my time is valued by this dealership.

I brought my 2020 Tacoma in for its second service today including a tire rotation and it’s first oil change. While driving the truck home after the appointment I noticed it seemed rather bumpy so when I got home I checked the tire pressure. The dealer had inflated all 4 of my tires to over 60 psi. I called to find out what might have happened and it took nearly 4 hours to get a call back. Once I finally talked with the service manager his response to me was “I checked with the tech and his pressure gauge was working fine, so I don’t know what to tell you”. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I will never bring my truck to this location again for service and wouldn’t trust them to clean a window let alone work on my truck. Do not go to this dealer if you want even the most basic service done right. **UPDATE** I called in as prompted to talk with someone about this, was then put on hold for 10 minutes then told no one was available. They confirmed my information so that someone could call me back ASAP… that was 2 days ago and I’ve still heard nothing. This dealer is a literal joke.

Autonation Toyota in Fort Myers does not require its service customers to wear a mask in the waiting room during a Covid-19 pandemic. This made me very uncomfortable and puts people at risk. About half of the waiting customers were NOT wearing a mask, or were not wearing it properly, and at least one was coughing regularly. I told the Service Agent I would NOT be back. I believe this lack of concern for the well being of its customers is irresponsible. I love my Toyota Camry but I will find another dealer when it comes time to buy a new car. This interface does not allow for NO STARS.

When we brought our car in to get it detailed my son said he wanted everything done 100% inside and out even including the engine. We decided to do the presidential package. When we arrived that afternoon to pick up the car I asked Javier who was very helpful and professional to come out and inspect the car with me after I looked at it. There was quite a few areas with wax smears not completely buffed off, when they did the armor all on the tires There was over spray on parts of the car that had been freshly waxed. Also on the windows there was Aamirall over spray. and the windows and mirrors were not cleaned as I thought they should be. This was a $460 service and I just thought it would be a little bit better. All in all probably 20 to 30 minutes of a little more attention to detail.

2019 Highlander was due for 30,000 maintenance, service required change oil, rotate tires, and change cabin air filter I told agent I had the care plus plan, agent said could not find it in the system, (so i went with that figured I would send in claim) then agent tells me a brake fluid flush and replacement was required that is not on the Toyota website after 2 1/2 hours later I signed out, after I got home realizing the cabin air filter was not checked let alone changed Total bill for above items $ 292.08 I will not be going back to AutoNation for anything by the way I placed a call to agent next day have not received a call back one star is an over rating

After getting home and speaking with my son he asked me about the wear and tear insurance. I was not offered that option by my salesman or the finance person. I am recently divorced and was trying to do this on my own and now I’m wondering if I made the right decision 😩. My salesman was personable but didn’t have much information on anything about the car I was buying. I called this morning to find out about the insurance and have not received a call back. I’m not wanting pity I just have to take care of myself now and I figured your dealership would be the one to go to. I do love my Camry.

Staff are very nice, however with an 8:15am appointment for a tire rotation. & new wiper blades my car was not finished until 2 hours & 15 minutes. Apparently quite a few of the service employees stopped to vote on the way to work & were very late causing a delay for cars waiting to be serviced. While the right to vote is very important, there are many options including early voting, scheduling service employees time slots to vote or not scheduling morning appointments for cars to be serviced. Even though I was initially told that my car would be ready in 45 minutes to an hour, at no time did an employee walk up to me to say “Sorry it’s taking so long”. I finally went back to service to ask and was told he did not know the service guys were late in arriving & if he knew he would have given me a more realistic wait time. If a 2 hour plus wait time info had been provided, I would have left & had my car serviced elsewhere. Apparently when you schedule an appointment & arrive on time for it does not matter to Toyota.

I recently went to autonation for the second part of the airbag recall. When the service was completed and I got into my truck, I noticed the airbag sensor light was still on in my dash disply and the passenger airbag sensor was reading as off. I went back in and told my customer service rep about the light being on and he told me that it had to be a pre-existing issue. I told him that the sensors were not on when I brought my truck in for the recall. He then told me that it would be a problem that I would have to pay to have fixed. I know that there was no problem with the sensors when I brought it in. I feel that they either did not fix the recall problem or created a problem to get me to pay for a repair. I would be cautious of any repair that they tell you about and get a second opinion. I am in contact with the national Toyota office and am awaiting them to contact me back to get this taken care of.

The service department is outstanding here. However Enterprise Car rental that has a partnership office their at the dealership needs to get their act together. Service shop opens at 0700. Our appointment was at 8. Our service representative scheduled a rental for us upon scheduling our appointment. Enterprise didn’t get us a car until after 9AM!!! We have a Highlander for which we haul our kids around and they offer a Corolla telling us there is no other bigger vehicle options. I ask “what about a Camry at least. He says “oh yeah we have a Camry”. I suppose they didn’t understand the concept of the word bigger or ides of more room. Anyway I did make it known to service that this was a problem. I do hope they do something about it.

Once again Auto Nation disappoints. Check engine light was on when I started my car after work. I go right to Auto Nation and pull into line in the service reception area and clearly see 2 service people in there…and I wait and wait and finally just go inside (what happened to greeting the customer outside?). Mind you, this is the second time in 2 days I had to have this looked at and the 2nd time I had to wait and wait and wait for someone. When I told the woman my check engine light was on again after having been there the day before as well, know what she said to me? “You should have stopped in earlier, my master techs leave at 4”. As if I planned on my check engine light being on!!!! End of story. Off to Gettel Toyota where I should have just gone in the first place and will continue to go to! Buh-bye Auto Nation!

All the people are very pleasant to work with according to my wife, however 1st visit was to get a oil and filter change $96.29 a little expense in my opinion. 2 1/2 hours later my wife arrives home and I check oil level and look underneath her new 4 runner and notice oil dripping from skid plate and oil had sprayed all under vehicle. Now i’m worried is oil plug loose, filter housing loose this vehicle has 6000 miles on it. After closer inspection it appears mechanic spilled oil on skid plate which was not cleaned up . My 1st experience.

I purchased a Tundra back in January 2014. I have been very happy with the vehicle and have continued to have ALL of the service completed at AutoNation Fort Myers since the purchase of the vehicle. I have had issues with the automatic door lock actuators since the third year of owning the vehicle. I have had 3 out of the 4 actuators replaced under original factory warranty and under purchased extended electrical warranty. The front passenger actuator went out this week and I took the vehicle in for normal scheduled service and told them about the actuator. The actuator was replaced in 11/19 so it was about a year old. They said it was out of warranty and gave me an estimate of almost $700.00 to replace. This is absolutely ridiculous since it had been recently replaced. Obviously Toyota has a problem that they are aware of and refuse to take care of this issue. Just doing an easy internet search will reveal how bad this is with many customers complaining with the same issue. I refused to have the actuator replaced and will do myself if needed to save about $500.00 – $600.00. Toyota needs to make this right! Prior to scheduling and bringing in my Tundra for routine service, I had been noticing issues with my battery. The truck was slow to crank over and was sure my battery was going bad. I did not report this to the service advisor since battery inspection was included in the scheduled service. Upon picking the vehicle up and reviewing all service performed with the advisor, I was informed that the battery was checked and the battery was good. I still noticed the vehicle was slow to crank and 2 days after the service my battery was really starting to fail with the vehicle struggling to turn over. I work at a golf course and have 4 mechanics on staff to perform maintenance and repairs on $2 million of golf course equipment. I asked them to check the battery and the charging system and the battery tested bad. I purchased a new battery this morning from a local auto parts supply store that we do business with and had it replaced and all is good. Obviously AutoNation did not test the battery! It was visible from the dirt and some corrosion around the positive terminal that it had not been inspected or checked. I question what other inspections had actually been performed that were also part of the scheduled service? Needless to say I will not be bringing my Tundra back to AutoNation for any further service/repairs. This is a shame since I have been a loyal customer for almost 7 years. I will also be in the market for a new truck within the next year or two and will not consider Toyota or AutoNation when shopping for my next new truck.

Make sure your batteries on your fob have been changed. Mine gave out 4 days after purchase. Had to walk home to get the spare.

I have only had negative experiences with this location. The first visit I waited for 3 hours because I was forgotten about. The second visit they left my oil cap loose. My driveway was stained and I had to drive all the way back for them to fix their mistake. They refused to send someone to come pickup my vehicle because they were too busy. The managers are usually nice once confronted with their errors. However, I suggest the Naples location.

Our family have made business with this location for years. My family purchased 2 brand new cars from this place, and my friends and relatives have purchased more than 5 brand new cars from here as well under our recommendations. But the very last time which is today was the most unsatisfying experience. I sent my husband for a regular maintainer appointment. When he was about to pick up the car. The girl at the counter asked him to pay an service fee for alignment which is $133. The service was not allowed for permission before they performed. My husband had a bit difficulty in understanding English because Enllglish is not his first language. So he called me for help over the phone. She claimed that her coworker had asked for the question. But my husband said no. She said if we don’t make the payment, they won’t release my car! What? On top of that they charged for $166 finally instead of $133 which was told over the phone. I found out after my husband walked out the location. Because they sent me a electronic voice by email. Ridiculous! This is not the way we should be treated.we felt frustrated about this experience! That is insane!

“””BUYERS BEWARE!”” Not sure where to start, but I went on 11/28/2020 to this dealership with the idea of exchanging a vehicle that no longer fulfilled my families needs. We needed a bigger vehicle, as our family had expanded. We got together with sales associate Wesley Cattanach, who by the way was the only bright spot out of this whole situation. He was very attentive and welcoming to me and my family. It is a shame that I even have to mention him because his services do not belong in this review he was just 5 stars. The issue started once we were introduced to the numbers for the vehicle my wife had decided to get. The manager who I was told was by the name of Jeremy Smith but on paper is Randy Towne, came and spoke to us about the deal. A deal in which initial numbers were reflecting a 1,500-1,600 a month payment. In addition to this my trade in vehicle was being quoted for 22,000.00 which was WAY below its actual value. I then proceeded to submit a formal application so that we would be offered better numbers. In fact numbers came back much better after the credit check. However, they were still valuating my trade for 22,000.00. I asked the manager to reconsider such a proposal as it was WAY below the vehicles current value according to the KBB and NADA. The manager proceeded to make assertions as if I was telling him things that I was not, he then continued to put words in my mouth and asked me how much I wanted for my vehicle. I said that the KBB Trade value was 28,500. He continued to refuse to give me the fair value so I decided to walk. The manager, Mr. Jeremy or Randy(they did not want to give us his real name), stopped us and asked that he would check and see what he can do. He then came back with the 28k credit on the trade and offered a 5% interest rate on the purchase. My wife and I tired decided to take the deal and made a $500 deposit to hold the vehicle with the intent on coming the next day to sign paperwork. That night, I was really curious about the rate we were offered and did not feel comfortable about the deal. I called my personal bank and they offered me a 2.0 % interest rate. In addition, I research my vehicles trade value on NADA and it was 32-33k not the 28k or even less the 22k I was offered initially. My trade in vehicle(2019 Infiniti Q50S) had 5k miles so no work aside from an oil change and rotation of tires was needed. I called the next day 11/29/2020 and requested that I wanted to cancel the reservation and the whole process as I did not trust the dealership on any type of deal that they could offer. I was told to come by and get my deposit. So, today 12/08/2020 I finally had the time to stop by the dealership and get my money, which I did. However, to my surprise the receptionist told me there was no money to be picked up and that the cancellation could be processed today maybe or maybe not. My money could maybe or maybe not be returned to my card in up to 5 business days. I am sitting here 10 days after asking for the cancellation of this reservation being told this information. This is a complete joke for a service. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone out there trying to obtain a vehicle. As stated above, one could see how they are trying to take peoples money and give bad deals. As for the “”Manager”” his customer service skills are an example of what one should not do: attack customers, rude, and disrespectful. I am beyond upset and disappointed. Cancellation was requested 10 days ago and after being told to go get my money they wait until I go there to tell me that the money will be refunded to my card?? 0 Stars, SERIOUSLY BECAREFUL PEOPLE THESE GUYS ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!”

Had an appointment for 9:00a 28/12/2020, arrived at 8:50. Ordered a tire rotation and oil change on line.( 15000service)… was told that they were running behind, might be several hours before they get to it, and that I might not need an oil change, because I only have 13785 miles. Waited till 10:00a my vehicle was not yet received in the system to be started. There is a reason to get appointments? Also, received a sales call on 27/12/2020 at 11:00a, wanting to buy my vehicle. Really, on Sunday morning? Very disappointed in Autonation. One star is too much.

Brought my vehicle in twice for factory paint recall after receiving 4 letters at home. After wasting 4 hours each day on two different days -almost three months appart – still driving around with a car that has clear factory paint chipping, peeling, discoloration on the hood, fenders, bumpers, under the gas door etc. It either wasnt enough damage or not the right kind of chipping and peeling (still trying to figure out how peeling and chipping vary when its clearly specified in the recall: Pearl White: chipping, peeling, discoloration). Extremely dissatisfied with this lack of customer service and zero help in resolving this factory issue.

Dropped car off Saturday PM after experiencing odd behavior of car. Shavonie Parks was my consultant. The car was evaluated and I was told it needed a new Inverter, which was not in stock but would be available on Tuesday. She fixed me up with a rental from Enterprise so I had transportation for the weekend. Shavonie called me Tuesday to let me know that some of the necessary parts did not arrive but would be in stock the next day, Wednesday. She called me early Wednesday PM to let me know the parts had arrived and my car was being repaired and that it would be done by about 4:30. She called again at 4:35 to let me know the car was available to be picked up. The car is all better now and running fine. I really appreciate Shavonie keeping me posted as to the progress of the repair.

My parents and I went with a set mind of what we wanted and renny was super nice and willing to help he didn’t push another vehicle or change our mind to go with a higher priced vehicle which is what other dealers do but renny was amazing. To be honest it was the most pleasant shopping experience ever. I will recommend renny and autonation Toyota to everyone. Daisy was also great.
