Driving by and saw a jeep for sale and I went and looked at it and met Jason…. (it’s not a coincidence, my husband’s name is Jason as well) I was thinking to myself I wonder if we could do a swap for my car that had a lot of equity in it. We talked and I took a test drive. Very comfortable with riding with him (covid) Jason made it all happen for me. It wasn’t a clean swap ($175.00 owed) that’s OK. I am so very pleased with the service he and the company provided. He was very upfront and honest with me!!! Ask for him (Jason Biskey) you won’t be disappointed.

Chelsea Lane is an amazing salesperson. I was looking for a car for over a month and found the one I wanted at Dayton Andrews. After talking with Chelsea mid-afternoon, she had the paperwork and car ready for me by evening on the same day! Her customer service skills are impeccable. She carefully explained everything to me, answered all of my questions, and when she didn’t have an answer, she sought one out and got back to me quickly! Chelsea continued to give me 5-Star customer service — answering questions and helping me with some typical outstanding concerns even after the transaction was complete. You rarely find that kind of customer service!. I would definitely buy another car from Dayton Andrews if Chelsea were my salesperson!

Walked in to Dodge today not expecting to have the experience that we had. We were greeted by Jason who was not only friendly, but also personable. We immediately felt that he was on our side and there to help us make the best decision when it came to a new car. He was extremely knowledgeable about his inventory and able to answer all questions. He was not pushy, nor did we feel pressured to purchase a vehicle from him. He made the process as smooth as possible and hands down the best experience we have ever had at a dealership! Not only did we get to experience one great staff member, but we had the pleasure to meet another by the name of Guy in finance. His genuineness made us feel comfortable from the moment we met him. He went out of his way to ensure we received everything we were looking for without the pressure to purchase. We purchased a 2014 model. Vehicle was nice. Salesman took care of things we asked to be looked at before purchase. Dealership was unorganized when it came to close the deal. Finally after half a day in the dealership we got the paperwork closed. Purchased a 3 yr 70k mile extended warranty. A day later I took the vehicle back in as there was a problem with one of the options. The general manager took a 10 second look at it and said that this part had been changed out before they received it. This was said just by looking at it. I did my research and found that this was the factory installed part. It had one aspect that was not working. Then, I was told to just wait until my warranty kicked in to get it fixed. We were not told that the warranty we purchased did not start until 45 days after purchase. This would have valuable information. So I was told by the salesman that he would talk to the managers to get this resolved. Have not heard a word since. Mark the salesman did a decent job helping us with our purchase. He needs to find another dealership to work for. These people will never see another dime of my money. I will drive to Tampa to get my service done. Do not recommend this business.

I found the car in my specific online search and was easily connected with Bill Picard upon inquiry. He was knowledgeable and helpful, and not at all pushy while being encouraging and understanding. He knew I was looking at the one particular car and was happy to help despite it being an older, used car. Everyone I worked with seemed very upfront and happy to be helping me, even when my debit card gave me issues for down payment. The car was perfectly detailed, the process simple, and my mechanic found no issues. Amazing communication work by Jennifer Howell at Dayton Andrews. She responded promptly to emails and texts and was on top of every detail. She knew we were making a long trip and yet she greeted us on her off day with completed transaction papers in hand. She had the car detailed ahead for our inspection. All we had to do was test drive, sign papers and drive back home with a great deal on a 2019 Ford F-150. Best car buying experience we have EVER had in over 30 years. BUYERS BEWARE First off, our car salesman, Nick, was excellent. Because my husband and I did business with Fitzgerald Hyundai and their high-integrity staff for years, we were fooled into thinking shady car dealings were a thing of the past. I wanted a specific Chrysler, so we went to Dayton Andrews. Doing business with the finance person we were assigned was way beyond disappointing. This person voiced that because he and my husband served in the same branch of the service, he would give an excellent deal: for only $11 more per monthly payment we could get an impressive extended warranty on the used vehicle we were purchasing along with free oil changes for two years. It sounded too good to be true, because it wasn’t. He rushed us through the signing, (using the virus as a excuse for certain actions) but then when we looked closely at the paperwork, we discovered the extended warranty was $3900, and “free” oil changes came to a whopping $1600+. He told us our interest rate was 4%, but the paperwork said 4.79%. He told us the loan was for 72 months, but the paperwork read 75 months. (We wanted 60 months.) He quickly changed all the paperwork when confronted, and then said, “I suppose you want me to also remove the gap insurance.” We never asked for it, and he never asked if we wanted it. He also declared about all these charges on the paperwork: “It was a miscommunication.” Yes, it was. When one person is lying, and another believes what he’s saying, that is a miscommunication. I reported all of this to a manager a couple days later when I came back to fix an issue with the detailing of the car. This manager said all the right things—that he was sorry, and he felt bad that our experience wasn’t an excellent one, and he would talk to this worker. I appreciated that he didn’t defend the worker in any way or say, “It was just a miscommunication.” But I still feel the need to warn others who may want to go to this car dealer to read everything carefully, don’t believe what’s said, but only believe what’s on the paperwork, and don’t feel you can trust someone just because they seem nice and have something in common with you. I pray this worker will return to being an honest businessman.

Service department was terrible. I will never bring my car here again for service, I will find a different dealership (it is under warranty still). Impossible to get anyone on the phone. I called for two days straight trying to find out an update on my car (5 days after dropping it off) and kept getting put on hold and forgotten about or transferred to random peoples voicemail and never received calls back. I finally spoke with someone and they told me a list of things they suggested for my car, none of which had anything to do with the problem I brought it in for. Upon picking up my car & after paying I asked where my car was and was told “it’s either in the front lot or the back lot” and then I had to wander around both lots until I found my car. After getting home and looking at the vehicle inspection report that they Mark things off on I saw that the tires were marked in good condition (2) and good but may need future attention (2) – they told me over the phone that my tires needed to be replaced and tried to sell me 4 new tires. They also told me I needed to replace my rotors – I took it to another brake shop after I left here and was told my rotors are perfectly fine. They had marked on the inspection sheet that my transmission needed immediate attention (they had told me it had a code for the torque converter) which is the reason I took it in (& it is under warranty), they originally told me they were going to take it apart to look at it. After the fact they said they just cleared the code so they left it… despite the fact that this was the reason I brought it in because it wasn’t sounding or driving right. Overall not being able to get ahold of anyone for any information on my vehicle, being told I needed things (that of course were all things not under warranty) that I was told by another shop I don’t need, having a concern that was under warranty dismissed as no problem when it’s why I came in & seemingly not fully checked into, & then to cap it off having to wander both of their car filled parking lots in search of my car to take it home, I would not recommend this place for service on your vehicle. Drive further away to a different dealership if you need one.

This review is based solely on the service department only not the car buying experience. We purchased a wrangler and a grand cherokee in 2017. The paperwork took a very long time and as a courtesy the finance guy offered the extended service coupon book as their cost. We accepted, fast forward to current day. The wrangler needed 4 new tires and in the coupon book it included a free nitrogen fill no expiration date. The appointment was made and at that time the coupon was mentioned. There was no indication at that time they had no way to honor that service. We go to pick up the wrangler and they have not had nitrogen in 10 years. The service manager is awful to deal with. He is completely disrespectful and doesn’t have a clue what customer servive is.he did finally offer if we took it somewhere else to fill it we would get refunded. Funny thing is he wouldn’t put it in writing. He said I have been here 38 years blah blah. He finally took oht his card and scribbled it on the back of it. He is not who I would want to represent my company in anyway.

She never returned my calls. After my 4th attempt I finally spoke with the rudest person I have ever dealt with at a dealership. She refused to accept my vehicle. I have returned no less than 8 lease vehicles to Chrysler dealerships and have never encountered any issues until this woman. I hope your dealership will consider the caliber of employees you hire. She should be fired since I can assure you I am not the first person she has treated that way

Great service at this location from Dave C. We have a Dodge Ram Sequence converted to an RV that we bought from General RV in Tampa. After getting some minor damage to our vehicle after we loaned it out, we took it to General RV for an estimate. Two months, 14 photos, 4 hours sitting at the dealership, and 32 phone calls later, we still had no estimate. The General RV bodyshop only needed to write up a windshield and $70 bumper part. Frustrated and short tempered, I called the service department at Dayton Dodge Ram. Dave patiently listened to our sad story and better yet, within a few hours we had an estimate. Guess where we will be having all our service and body work done from now on? NOT General RV!!! Thanks again, Dave.

These people were nothing short of rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and don’t abide by the Chrysler company policies. I attempted to return my leased vehicle. I was told in an extremely snarky manner that I would not be able to return a leased Jeep Wrangler. I called another dealership who sells the same vehicles and was told the exact opposite. Do NOT buy from here. Their website is extremely misleading. I found a Jeep on their website with pictures that were completely different than the actual car when I went to see it in person. Debi and Scott were extremely rude when confronted as I had already done the credit application. This is the EPITOME OF SLEEZEY CAR SALES PEOPLE. You should not have “stock photos” on your website that don’t represent the actual car. I never had this problem with Nissan. I went to another Jeep dealership and Tampa and they were SO much better and also agreed that should never happen. If you want to be treated with respect, I suggest going to ANY other Dodge/Jeep dealership.

Dayton Andrews knowingly sold me a lemon, and the initial sales person, John, refuses to listen to or address my concerns after stating, “the car passed inspections”. I inquired about a similar car the day it arrived on the lot. Not one call back and they just sell it to someone else. Called to talk to manager and was told they don’t take direct calls. STEER CLEAR SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE JUST GO TO A DIFFERENT CDJR SERVICE DEPARTMENT FROM THE BEGINING. I would not even give the service department 1 star if it didn’t make you in order to write a review. They have no idea what they are doing, they will just let your vehicle sit and not even look at it and just guess that it is not an issue. Mine was warranty work and because they did not get paid to diag the issue they just said it wasn’t an issue. The service director instead of trying to make it right will just take your email out of Chryslers data base so you do not get a survey and hope you go somewhere else.

Terrible experience at a service department. I’ve been calling the service managers Ron and Mike and leaving voicemails for the last few days. I made an appointment there after my Jeep reached 40,000 miles and began flashing messages to have all these things serviced. I was about to take a 12 hour trip in the car so I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong. I also asked them to adjust my tire pressure since it had gone down a little. They told me to pull into a spot where I waited for about 15 minutes before a man came over and told me I would need to make an appointment. I informed him of my appointment, he took my keys and said they would call me. 2 hours later, no phone call. I arrive back and see my Jeep parked on the side. I found the same guy who helped me and asked if he had an estimate for me. He came back 10 minutes later estimating that I needed 2 new tires and a new sensor…and that it would cost me over $800. I politely declined the service and asked for my car back. His attitude toward me changed into a kind of snide one…like I had just wasted so much of his time or something. He said he needed to get my car off the lift. I knew it wasn’t there but I still said ok. 20 minutes later he’s still not back. I went to find him and he got my keys out and my new bill. He said I owed them $161. As a woman by myself dealing with men in a service that could easily do something to my car, I just agreed to pay so I could get my keys back. I got in my car and turned it on, to find that my tire pressure had not changed and I had to ask them to take it back. So I paid $161 for them to check a code. The 2 tires I need only cost $200 each and the sensor $20. How that comes out to over $800 on a warranty is ABSURD. The next day I called and left a message for the service manager. I still haven’t been called back. They even texted me to see how my service was and when I responded about it being unsatisfying….crickets. .dont waste your time. They will continue to go down hill.

I took my vehicle in for a standard oil change/tire rotation and balance. I got my vehicle back with a tpms light on showing psi unbalanced in each tire and not filled to recommend levels. I asked the service rep about it before I drove off and he told me to drive a few miles and it should turn off. I drove several miles before writing this review and it’s still showing the same issues. While they had my vehicle, I got a call and was also advised my battery was low and needed to be replaced. Despite any warning lights or noticeable issues with the main battery, I gave permission to change it out since my vehicle is 4 years old and hadn’t been replaced yet. While driving my vehicle home, a battery light came on and advised of low voltage. This is the first time I’ve ever seen this light on since owning the vehicle, and I am the original owner. I picked my vehicle up right before the service department closed (4pm on Sat). I tried to call and speak with someone once I got home, but the operator with a nasty tone explained the best I can do is leave a message and wait for someone to call me back Monday. It is absolutely unacceptable to get a vehicle back from a service department and have more problems with it driving home than when I brought it in. Its also unacceptable to not have a process in place to assist customers with problems like these caused by your service department between 4pm Sat and 7am Mon. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I can’t think of a time I’ve been this unsatisfied with a service.

Use to go here when i first moved to St. Petersburg Florida for them to service my jeep. First, service advisor by the name of Todd was always very dismissive over anything i would bring my jeep in for second he never fixed the problem. Had to get corporate involved on numerous occasions to get a refund and overall this place was just nothing but a headache. Do not recommend at all go to suncoast for much better service. Say as you must to defend your business when i brought my vehicle here it was always a headache and always an issue with subpar service. Vehicle was never fixed and service provider was constantly dismissive of my concerns. I stopped bringing my vehicle there for a reason which is what made the most sense.

I made an appointment. Appointment was for 8am. Added one minor issue to address. Truck was done at 10am. Bravo to service techs. Destiny, the service rep then proceeded to tell me that my extended warranty wasn’t really through Dodge and it could take 30 minutes to 3 hours to get approval for warranty. REALLY? Finance person never communicated warranty wasn’t through Dodge. At 12.24pm I spoke to Destiny again. Well you have been approved by your warranty but there is no one here to process paper work. Everyone is off between 12….1pm for lunch. What BS!!! So you can’t stagger their lunch breaks to be more efficient for your customers???? How ludicrous that the service I have requested was done at 10am. Pretty good timing. But now has been 2.5 hours to get warranty approval and a ticket printed. Absolutely horrendous service by the people pushing paper. I have already watched 3 customers (who made appointments) sit here as long as I have and their vehicles still have not been moved. 2 of the three have cussed the service agents out and.left. 4.5 hours wasted by a very questionable service agents. Service techs have been great. Who has 4.5 hours to sit and receive nothing when they made an appointment? Very poor organizational set up. Very poor paper work processing, and even worse warranty processing. 12.33pm here now and still have to wait until 1pm for Someone to print a freaking ticket. REALLY? #POORSERVICE. #HORRIBLEPROCESSING #FIXGTHISNOW

She got to the point of an appraisal and the manager doing the appraisal didn’t even get out his chair to come look at the truck or introduce himself and gave her an appraisal of $2000 less… needless to say she walked out cause that proved they didn’t want the business… I would say go somewhere else and save the aggravation.

“Terrible service. Todd managed our service call, wrote wrong contact # down but called our landline and decided not to leave a message, our car stayed there 6 hours before we called him. He was informed we had extended warranty, he said it didn’t cover our repair. We are now filing a claim ourselves because this business does not call warranty companies, they go by their computer. Portion of our repair IS covered. When picked up our car we asked about the 23 point inspection that’s to be done every visit, Todd said it was done but paperwork wasn’t made out. Said its done through oil change lane. Lifting hood next day, I found low brake fluid, windshield fluid and tire pressure too low. Called Mike, manager, who said to bring it back in. Alex ( very nice) said its done on every vehicle regardless of what lane your in and paperwork is always left with vehicle for mechanic to complete. When I told Todd this; his response was “”it’s not the way I operate””. Thing is, upon bringing it back in and inspection was done; that inspection also showed 2 filters needing replacement. Inspection was NOT done the day they had my vehicle. Warning to customers….don’t take their word on it, you must do your own due diligence because this service department does not have the customers best interest…..except for Alex in Express Lane, he’s a gem.”

UPDATED: I’m going to update the review to three stars. When I took it Monday, Mr. Bryant had the loaner waiting for us, and they had the truck back later that afternoon, and the steering issue appears to be corrected. Mr. Bryant stayed on it, and I appreciate his efforts, but I should not have had to escalate to the manager…all that had to happen was for our sales person to check her voicemail, and not try to blame me for the sin of leaving a voice mail on her office phone. Here’s what’s really sad. The negotiation and purchase process for Lay’s Jeep Gladiator was one of the better ones I’ve experienced. The problem was the little bit of followup required. First, the sales person calls to let me know we know just a bit more money, the payoff was a bit more than expected. I let her know I’ll take of that, and call a day later to see if I can do it online or over the phone. We live in Tampa, they are in St. Pete. Not that far, but hardly worth a trip just for this small amount. Leave a voicemail on her office number, which is never returned. Couple of days later, same thing from Jennifer Howell. Finally get a Tracy Bryant, who’s supposed to be a manger. He says, they’ll just absorb the amount. Nice enough. We purchased on a rainy Friday night, so Lay was supposed to bring it back for detailing, but that wasn’t really critical, but it seems to have a bit of a handling problem that can apparently be corrected with a PCM flash. So, I sent Mr. Bryant a text with a link to the information and told him Lay would be over today, Friday, to get the detailing done and have someone take a look at the steering issue. He indicated that would be fine. Lay took the day off, went over, and was told they could get into service today, he didn’t have an appointment. Finally got Jennifer Howell the sales person on the phone (took a while), and she blaming me because I’d left the voice mails on her, gasp, office phone and she doesn’t check that. I am not happy, and at this point being generous with 2 stars. To his credit, Mr. Bryant has offered a loaner if we’ll drop off the truck Sunday evening. He’s trying to make things right, but i shouldn’t have ever had to engage with him. The salesperson really should have been on this. However, our communications did break down.

This dealership is the worst dealer I have ever dealt with! I signed a deal on February 14 , traded in a vehicle, left 6000 down and drove off with my new truck. March 9 I got a call stating that they needed proof of income which I provided. I called a little taken back and was assured by the finance department to relax the truck is mine financing will be fine they just need to reconfigure and resubmit. I made more then 20 calls to get someone to call me back without a response . Then I get a text this past week 45 days after to come in! I come in and they tell me I have to return the truck and they will give me back my trade with my down payment. This is after they assured me my loan was approved, told me to cancel the gap and extended warranties on my trade, and I spent money on my truck to add specific touches. Then I got a copy of the contract without any signatures on it and everything saying N/A. I will be pursuing this further . UPDATE I WENT TO FIRKINS in Bradenton and within minutes got approved for a truck that was 15000 more than the one I was attempting to purchase here with less interest rate and monthly payments from the bank that this dealer told me wouldn’t approve me. When I called to find out what occurred the bank told me the dealer NEVER submitted my papers to them !!!!
