On Friday I visited Ford of Ocala to look at used cars. I was not prepared to buy a new car that day and hadn’t purchases a car in over 14 years and never purchased one by myself. I told the salesman Gary that I wanted to see if buying a car was as painful as I remembered it to be. Well I was certainly surprised. The entire experience was painless, comfortable and enjoyable. Every person employed there was knowledgeable and helpful. They all went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted at the payments I wanted. I was there three hours and left with the car I wanted and with payments I could afford. Gary and John (in Finance) were a pleasure to work with and both were kind, caring and non judgmental. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle. Thanks again for all your help and the pleasant experience.

Last night we rolled off the lot at Ford in our new (to us) vehicle, and I must say…this was the BEST car buying experience I’ve ever had! From the moment we stepped in the door to when we left there was nothing painful about the whole process. Salesman Josh was great down to the smallest details, and John in finance was awesome. Every question answered, every detail attended to, and every bit of financial information was explained. Even when all was said and done, the sales manager Pat came to make sure that we were happy. My gut told me to leave when our salesperson judged us by what he assumed was our financial situation and refused to talk to us about the specifics of the car we needed. We ended up with a car that we didn’t know didn’t meet our needs until after the pressured sale. I wish our experience had been better.

Art Gomez, the service advisor, was very professional and courteous. He asked what I needed done and made realistic suggestions for additional service. The additional service was very cost effective to the service I needed to be preformed so I added it. This is something I rarely do. Art set up a rental for me for the time they had the vehicle and actually picked me up when the rental company and shuttle driver were not available. Great customer service from Art.

On 11/02/2020, I purchased my dream truck as a retirement gift for myself (2020 Ford F250 Tremor). From start to finish the staff made me feel at home in purchasing my truck. The sales consultant Ty Davis, Sales Manager Blane Greer, Business Manger John Oyola and Maria Martinez were friendly, top notch and very professional. Overall a great experience and the dealership had a great atmosphere inside and out.

“After several visits to this dealer trying to be heard because my SUV lift gate was not working and later, I could not open it. Although I told them it was the module (I am not mechanical, but it was so obvious) the shop staff (mechanics) as well customer service (the person that always helps me) keeps saying that it was the battery (but all my previous diagnoses of services every time they did my car service they marked that the battery was in perfect condition) they did not listen to me just tell me to change the battery and the problem was going to be fixed.). wrong: But I listened to them change the battery, but since the problem was not the battery, the problem was not fixed and for many weeks I could not use my SUV because the module that was the problem was eating the battery. so, once again went to Walmart they put another new battery, but the problem continues. (thank you for the patience to Walmart employees who didn’t understand why it had to be changed when it was a new good condition battery). After changing the battery I called again to the service department and make another appointment but this time I spoke with Art and I want to thanks him and give him 100 stars for his excellent customer service, for his patience of knowing how to listen to me in detail in the midst of my frustration. Art took me step by step in this long process achieving together the result that was… “”The replacement of the Module that from the beginning I told them was the problem. Thank you so much Art for your excellent service and beyond. PS. I asked to speak to the Shop Manager, but he never shows up, but from his department I was told that I have to pay $400 for the mechanic to open my SUV lift gate and another $1,500 to get it fixed for something that to begging with they waited so long to get it done when this would not happen if they would of take the time to listen to a non-mechanics. Thanks God I had it a warranty on my vehicle.”

Looking for a PLEASANT car shopping experience!? Go to Ford Ocala! Everyone was so great. Our salesman, Josh was so helpful and not once did we feel like we were being pushed into buying something we did not want. He actually listened to our wants and needs! We had our three kids with us shopping, and he was even so accommodating to them! 10/10 I would recommend you ask for Josh! Pat & Blaine in management and finance department were also phenomenal! Wonderful SUV Purchase with the assistance of Tilda B. My wife and I went in to look at 2020 Ford Explorer. Tilda was our associate and partner while we looked at the inventory. I can not say enough good things about the sales and service. I bought my truck from an absolutely delightful sales girl named Briana Singleton. She helped me find my perfect vehicle and in my budget. But her service did not stop there. I had a minor problem so I took back to the dealership to be looked at, Briana saw me coming into the dealership so she came over and advised me where to go and then stood there with me until I was done. The service was amazing as well a quick fix and I was on my way. I only wish more companies had there customer service values.

I put off the airbag recall on my Mustang for years and finally called about it. Greg from Ocala Ford scheduled within one working day, came on time to my home and changed out the airbags. Arrived on lot with my wife to look at two vehicles ready to purchase with $80,000 had an older elderly gentleman come out to try to show us the two trucks we looked at notice I said the word tried he had zero knowledge of either vehicle we were looking at every question we asked he didn’t know very offset personality needless to say they could’ve had a sale worth $80,000 but due to the sales man they lost the sale after I was done dealing with the so-called salesman I contacted the dealer to speak with the manager over the new vehicle department not available email was sent to said manager with no return call complete BS they lost a $80,000 deal they could’ve had due to the managers attitude no return call to customer or potential customer ever Denteley this dealer does not need paying customers because they had nothing on the lot worth looking at anyway but the two vehicles I was interested in they could’ve sold one today now if I were you I would stay away from this Ford dealer in Ocalla due to the way he is ran by the manager and his employees on the lot now I know why the employee on the lot hence the older gentleman elderly man selling vehicles has his attitude is based off of his boss man’s attitude as well sorry we will not be back there again

On a Saturday I was on my way out of town and my low oil pressure light came on. I stopped in the quick lane and they were so amazing. Connie and her manager in commercial sales were wonderful! One month later- when I called to schedule my hitch installation as agreed to when purchasing, they would not schedule. Then I got a check in the mail for the cost of the hitch, only I can’t get it done for that price. I am NOT happy.

Since our truck needed to be serviced, I went online and was very pleased to find that we could schedule a service appointment. However, as informed by Katie, the online schedule option actually serves no purpose. It does not reserve a spot for you, as what a scheduled service, would achieve. The online schedule is just up there for fun. It is completely asinine to have a scheduler up for it not to really schedule anything. This problem should be re-evaluated, and fixed as to not lose future clients.

Took my Ford Explorer today to get serviced, my advisor Alison Huilker was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. The had my explorer finished sooner than expected. They even topped off my tire pressure without me asking! Highly recommend coming here and I will be back!

I went to Ford of Ocala on 3/15/21 to get an Oil chg and a Recall taken care of. I was greeted as I drove up by a very kind gentleman, who escorted me inside to meet with one of the Service Representatives for my scheduled appointment. I had my last Expedition for 13 years, just bought a new 2020. I had not visited Ford of Ocala since the renovation took place. Very nice, clean facility. I waited for a few minutes and was greeted by ALISON HUILKER. Alison was pleasant to deal with and made sure everything was taken care of for my visit. When I was called about 2 hours later, which Alison predicted to come pick up my Vehicle, I remembered an issue with a loose tail light cover. I’d like to thank John Geremia, our service advisor at Fort of Ocala for taking the time to diagnose and repair our Lincoln vehicle recently. Our Aviator was having multiple electronic issues, and needed extensive diagnostics performed to figure out what the problem was. John was extremely patient and followed through on all of the errors, until they were able to find and fix the problem. John has always been very accommodating whenever any of our Ford vehicles need service or have any issues, and has made getting service at Ford of Ocala a seamless process.

“What a difference one man can make. Friday, January 22, my wife and I left to go to the Florida Keys in our brand new Fleetwood Fortis RV. This was our second major trip and we were looking forward to getting to warm weather. Tuesday night we spent the night in a very nice RV Park in Gainesville. When we got up Wednesday morning, the check engine light was flashing and the engine sounded like it was running on 5 cylinders. The exhaust had a very rich fuel smell. I checked the manual and it said to take it to a dealer. We promptly found the local Ford Dealer, Parks Lincoln Ford, in Gainesville and took the RV to the dealership. Without an appointment I walked into the service department of Parks Lincoln Ford and spoke with the service advisor that is directly in front of the door, ( I now regret not getting his name). He barely even acknowledged me. i told him the problem and asked if he could help. He said we could leave the RV there and it would take at least a week. “”I’ve got another one in the back that’s been here for 2 weeks””. In short, he could not have cared less and did nothing to help in this situation. We would have been stranded in Gainesville with 3 dogs and had to cancel all of our plans. Now comes the good part. I went back to my car and called Ford Lincoln of Ocala. I spoke with a young woman and told her the situation. She asked me to hold and transferred me to John Geremia, Service Advisor. I told him and he told me that it was not safe to drive – for far – that it could do additional damage to the engine, catalytic converter and maybe the transmission. He told me that he thought he knew what the problem was and to get to his dealership, 30 miles away, ASAP. Upon arrival, he immediately got his tech, hooked up to the computer and properly diagnosed the problem. The spark plug wires were defective and Ford had issued a service advisory to replace. Unfortunately the did not have any. He immediately got on the phone with Ford in Michigan, and ordered a set with emergency delivery. We went to a convenient campground directly behind the Ford Dealer. He called me a 11AM on Thursday. The parts had arrived. I brought the RV in, he repaired it per the Ford service advisory and also suggested that we get our first oil change, which we did. By 2 PM we were on the road and headed to our finally destination, Key West. John did not have to jump through a hoop for someone that he will likely never see again, but he did. Props to him and to Ford/Lincoln of Ocala for having such a dedicated team. Parks Ford in Gainesville should fire the other service advisor. He is endemic of the reason that so many dealerships have a bad reputation. I promise that I will tell everyone I know about both of these experiences and I just want John Geremia to know that our trip was successful and we had a great time because of his attitude and diligence. Thank you John.”

My 2019 Expedition has been in this shop for 2 weeks. The service tech will say whatever it takes to get you off the phone. He stated there are 7 vehicles ahead of me. 7 days after dropping it off he told me it was on the lift being looked at and the only have 1 transmission tech. The manager calls me to tell me on the 14 day they have had it that it has yet to be looked at and there are 7 vehicles ahead of mine. This is what this dealer calls progress.

I went in to see a Ranger and/or a Bronco Sport. Upon arrival I was essentially arrested by a woman who forcefully asked us to follow her. I was then told to take a seat and wait…. I waited, very confused, and already upset. The woman came back and gave us useless information I did not need, before neglecting to answer any of my questions. I then asked to see what models were available since I made the trip out to the dealership (which is basically in the middle of nowhere) and was handed off to a similarly confused saleswoman named Chicha. Chicha took us back to look at a bronco sport and told me I couldn’t see the inside of it or even open the door. She told us to come back in 3 weeks to actually see one, despite the website having several in stock. She dropped us off right at my car and didn’t even ask for my name or contact information and didn’t offer a card. I’ll be ordering my Bronco Sport Outer Banks at the Ford in Gainesville due to the rude and aggressive staff who immediately decided I wasn’t going to purchase a car and wanted me off the lot.

I wanted to thank my service advisor Dennis Moore for being such an amazing help. We bought a certified Ford vehicle at another dealership and had some interior concerns. The dealership we bought it from would not take the time to listen to us and we really felt as though they just blew us off after the vehicle purchase. So when we brought our vehicle in for a warranty issue I expressed my problems about the issue to Dennis. He let me know that he could look into it but not make any promises on a repair. I purchased my 2016-F150 at Ford of Ocala. On 12-10-2020 I had my truck serviced. Art Gomez was my Service Advisor. Art checked me in for servicing and a recall for a brake master cylinder. I brought my Ford E-350 to 3 different Ford dealerships to get 2 doors with broken latch cables fixed (under warranty). One dealer said they wanted $150 to diagnose the problem; I said I already know what the problem is, so no thanks. One dealer said the repairs were not covered under warranty, so no thanks. One dealer said yes it is covered under my warranty but parts would have to be ordered and they had no idea if they were available, so no thanks. I then brought it to Ford of Ocala. The service writer, Dennis Moore, knew exactly what the problem was when I explained it to him; he checked my extended vehicle warranty and got authorization for the repairs, he walked me over to the parts department who verified all parts were available; Dennis scheduled me in for the following week and the repairs were completed. NOW THAT’S SERVICE!

“I purchased a new 2019 Ford Raptor. I liked the two sales people that I worked with, and the finance woman was excellent as well. I had very little interaction with the sales manager, but he seemed nice as well. I was not allowed to test drive the vehicle. The dealership has a policy regarding Ford “”specialty”” vehicles, they do not allow test drives under any circumstances. I made it pretty clear I was a serious buyer, but they would not budge. If you do not feel comfortable buying a vehicle that you can’t test drive, this is not the dealership for you. Detailing was closed when I purchased the vehicle, they offered for me to come back to get it cleaned the next day, but I meticulously clean my own vehicles anyway, so I did not mind. After I detailed the truck myself, I noticed some scratches on one of the windows that had been covered by dirt/pollen. The sales manager sent a glass repair company to my house to fix the scratches at no cost to me. All of their vehicles come with care kits, which they charge you for (part of a package that is added to all the vehicles). They were out of these so I didn’t get anything. Sales person said I could come back and get one, but I live over an hour away, not worth the drive for some leather cleaner. I use my own products anyway, not a big deal to me, and I was able to get the charges for these things taken off. The sales person put regular in the truck instead of premium, and said that is what the sales manager told her to do. The truck can take regular but it recommends premium otherwise it takes a big performance hit. I love the truck.”

He just kept on about what a great deal it was. After insisting we did not want used due to warranty. He handed me a card & said just go look on the website. You can find what you want there. I have a 2017 Ford Mustang that I purchased at Ford, with extended warranty. My AC, fan, everything is out. Won’t even turn on. I called for service, to be told they are out of loaners for two weeks but the first woman I spoke to said she would like to work something out and transferred me to another woman who does the loaners, and she was very rude. I told her I could bring in my car during lunch break, and she told me they were already full, to bring it at 730am, and I told her I needed a way to work, and she replied “you can’t be late?” “If you don’t help us we can’t help you.” I work in a medical office I told her it’s very hard for me to have any time off. Then she asked if I even purchased my car at a ford dealership. Then told me to call back later to see if they might be able to look at it…. I’m very glad they were so willing to help me out with this….if i had a choice I wouldn’t be returning. Very poor customer service.

Very accommodating to get my E450 class C RV in for an Oil Change as a walk-in. Though, the Commercial service department wasn’t answering the phone, nor returning calls. The mechanic pointed out two leaks (transmission $350 and rear diff $410) that needed repairs. Yet they couldn’t do it that day (RV life, it’s our house). No noticed leak from either so far, guess they are really slow leaks. Mechanic would not check tire pressure, said that removing valve cap pressure monitors always causes them to leak.

Although very hospitable when purchasing a car trying to get things done after my accident has been a nightmare. Since February I have been trying to get things done so that Gap advantage, A Gap company Ford put me with when purchasing my vehicle, can finish totaling out my car. I have not only come to Ford to speak with someone but also have been calling and emailing Julian Cortes about how to cancel a policy since March 14th with no help. I have been given the run around about paperwork I need to complete and people I need to call since. On April 10th I was told there is no way to cancel the policy because it was expired due to mileage and I was not given the only piece of documentation I needed Until April 18th. I understand there is a lot going on with the world but I am very unhappy with the way Ford has handled my family throughout this whole experience. Ford only cares when your spending money once they quickly get you into a car they no longer treat you the same when it comes to things that actually matter.

BIGGEST ISSUE: calling us after giving a bad review asking us to change it to 5 stars. It’s appalling, unprofessional, and an incredibly bad look. Went to another dealer and had a pain-free process.

Purchased a 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid in Oct. of 2018. Today (Nov 2019) the brake system decided to go out (a known issue with FEH) while we were driving on a curvy road while my two kids were in the car. Luckily we are fine but the outcome could have been drastically different. I’ve only put 10k miles on the car and now Ford of Ocala is saying even though it’s a know issue they will not do anything about it. We spoke with Donna who was understanding but still gave us no solution. She forwarded the issue to the sales manager and we are waiting on his call.They basically stole 7 grand from our family. We’ll be pursuing this legally until the issue gets resolved.

Well to start off everyone was nice when i went there to purchase a F150 but after the deal was done thats when you see how the true color, my truck didn’t had any mats and was promise they will get me it as soon as they recieve them in a few days that never happened got tired of it after a month of chasing them and excuse , now here comes the other part my truck was paid off a now traded in before the extended warranty is finished, its been 4 months now of calling for an update on my refund and having to put up with the receptionist exuse no one is available and to leave a vm which you never gets a call from so Tod was the salesman and Bryan was the person looking after the refund for my Gap insurance and extended warranty. Thats one of the reason i never went back there to get a new truck because once they got that sale then its the royal run around for you. Im an tired of call so im moving to plan b.
