The most abysmal car buying experience EVER! As a matter of fact they tried so hard NOT to sell me a car, I decided to make that happen for them and bought somewhere else. Between two rude salespeople who took two days to respond as to whether a vehicle was available and then to the absurd price they sent me adding $9000 in ridiculous charges to the advertised price on their website I got the run around.

I scheduled some routine maintenance along with a thorough check up for my 2003 Mustang Cobra last week. I was so very impressed with the service department! Kim is a gift to this organization! She is a people person and really dedicated to the fine details of documenting your needs, carefully confirming everything, then following through to make sure it all gets done. She kept me in the loop with phone call/text updates on a regular basis. Normally, I would be the person to have to call in to check on status. Kim is relatively new to Grieco, but has plenty of experience from previous similar jobs. Every team member she worked with had that special “can do” attitude that sometimes is missing in these troubled times of COVID-19. Kim and Senior mechanic Manny made quite a team; they took great care of my pride and joy Cobra 🐍. I hope Kim stays there for a very long time! Manny has been my mechanic for years as he is a Cobra devotee and I trust him like family. Grieco bosses, I hope you realize the goldmine of personnel you have here! Treat them well!! 👸👍

Had it not been for Gus, this would be a 1 star review with a lengthy complaint. This man saved the day in a way that not many can. On a side note, hire more people in the service department. Atleast someone to always answer the phone, which seems to be an after though of the Greico Brothers. Bad business decision Thanks

Recently in November I went there to look at a new vehicle. I was trying to decide between a GT500 and a 911. I went there first to test drive the GT500. I made an appointment and came in, once I found the car that the appointment was for the salesperson came out said hey thanks for meeting your appointment, here is the car. And was silent. After extracting several questions out of the salesperson, I asked to test drive it. I was met with rudeness and flack from them and the manager. They wanted to do a hard credit check which I was not going to waste on a test drive. I offered to show them my income to prove I was a serious buyer. After a 10min stand off, I was allowed to drive it in a super busy parking lot (not the street), and had a very uncomfortable experience with the manager in the car. (They claimed people won’t buy the car with more than 6 miles on it – what bs) After that I was met with awkwardness and disrespect overall. So I went and bought a 911, which I’m very happy about.

Car buying experience was 5 stars, car service experience is 3 stars. The first time I got service, I was told to wait in the waiting area while they found a loaner car for me. Except, they forgot about me and I didn’t see the service advisor for another (almost) 4 hours. The service advisor was very apologetic and ended up giving me some sort of discount so I didn’t make a big deal out of it, and I decided I would come back again and give them another shot. Second time I came, the service advisor must have remembered me because he was polite and had a positive attitude. I got the “works” done, took about two hours, and all seemed fine to me as I paid and left. Once I got in my car, I took a further look at the paperwork, and on page 3 (of 4), there is a checklist detailing the inspection performed by the service department. I noticed my engine filter was checked off in the red box (which basically means it needed service ASAP). My problem is that no one called me at the conclusion of the inspection to say “hey we’ve found this problem would you like us to fix it for extra $$?” (I would’ve said yes and they could’ve made more money off me). No one during the checkout process even bothered to say “hey do you want to schedule another appointment to fix this?” Or “hey notice this about your inspection.” I just consider it to be poor salesmanship and customer service because Grieco Ford had the opportunity to upsell a product that is an easy fix and would’ve taken a mechanic less than a minute to complete. Anyways, I went and got the part myself and changed my own engine filter. It makes me wonder what else gets overlooked? At other car dealership service departments, the service advisor always checks me out and gives me a quick run down of what was done/found, not here though! Finally, I was in a minor fender bender and the other guy paid me cash to fix the dent/scrape. So I called up their collision center and left a message, but no one called me back 😂. So they also lost my business again and I took my car to a locally owned collision center. Overall I would recommend Grieco Ford for buying a car, would advise you to think twice about letting them service your car.

The battery light had been coming on intermittently for a while on my 05 Mustang which has not been driven much in the last year. One mechanic could not find the cause and another said it was the alternator. My battery, out of warranty, became unable to hold a charge and failed to recharge with a charger as well. I checked a couple of auto parts stores for replacement, then called Grieco for a price. There replacement cost was competitive including installation so I made an appointment. Micheal, a recent addition to their team of service advisors wrote me up. The installation was performed promptly while I waited in their new waiting area with complimentary coffee. When completed , checkout was efficient and I thought off I go. After starting the car the battery life remained on as I drove off 🙀. I immediately returned and Michael came out to see what the problem was. He explained this was normal so off I went. Sure enough, the light went out after a minute and I am very satisfied. Thanks for the great experience and I am sure Michael will do well with Grieco.

The one star is for Michael Mulleavey the salesman. He did a great job of ordering the vehicle. In regards to Grieco Ford dealership I would not be giving them any stars. I did not know you were supposed to look under the brand new vehicle for rust and salt corrosion. If I had I would not have taken delivery of the new F250. When attempting to correct the problem Grieco Ford advised that it was a Ford problem and they would not be assisting me in cleaning the undercarriage or compensate me for the same. I do have a complaint in with Ford and I am waiting for a response. It’s sad that Grieco did not even request my new vehicle back so that they could look at the rust and corrosion themselves. Customer Service. Where is it?? I have bought several vehicles in the past from the previous dealerships, Powell Ford, Marone Ford, and Auto Nation. This was my first purchase and my last purchase from a Grieco Dealership.

Absolutely the worst FORD dealer ever!!!!! Our family bought a new ST from Grieco Ford. Needed an oil change done and was told I would need to make an appointment. The earliest it could be done was next week! What type of establishment has a customer waiting over a week for an oil change? The second reason why I give GRIECO 0 stars is because of their rude employees in the service department. Don’t even care if they respond to this as we will NEVER go back to GRIECO.

“When I asked my Dad for advice when looking to buy a new truck he told me that above all, “”buying a truck should be fun.”” And that, if I started getting pressure or feeling stressed leave and go somewhere else. I’m happy to report that’s just how it went at Greico. Cole helped me out and it was a low pressure easy fun experience. All the staff were cool but professional and helpful. Another example, after buying the truck –which I feel like I got a great deal on — I had to return a rental to the airport. Some of the guys volunteered to follow me out there so I could save myself a trip back and forth and uber ride. 10/10 highly recommended to check out. Financing was a breeze also.”

I recently bought a new 2021 Ford Bronco Big Bend and had a very good experience. Moe made it very easy to get thru. He came in on his day off to show me how all the features work and even put my plate on my new car. I would go back again. This is the fourth vehicle that I bought from Grieco over the years. I really enjoyed working with Moe and will in the future. I had a little had time with the finance department as they would not let me use my Amex or bank card and had to go back the next day with a cashiers check. Other then that is was great and I love my new Bronco.

It has been over 2 years since I brought my car for service at this Ford location, but I am glad I did decide to come back. I was in a rush as my battery was about to die, needed an oil change and also replace a headlight. As soon as I called I was able to get an appointment that same morning. I was greeted upon immediately and the service staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I received multiple calls for updates to the car and they waived their diagnostic testing fee to have the work done with them. It took a few hours and I had my car ready for pick up that same day. Thank you Grieco Ford, I don’t normally write reviews but felt I needed to as this is a complete 180 from the service I was used to. It feels good to have a location close by that I can go to for reliable service. I’ll be back again!

Purchased vehicle and was not given all details about vehicle until in financing office. Opted to stay with vehicle however was hoping dealership would honor the fact that there were discrepancies. Sales manager insisted I take vehicle even though some features were not working. Advised it’s ok that I could bring in under warranty and be provided loaner. Here we stand still with no loaner provided by service so I’m unable to drop off for warranty. Was promised jumper outs calls back to get handlers by service and sales team. All and all feel it was a goal to get me to buy vehicle yet could care less about the things promised to make process a pleasure. I understand things happen but I bought a vehicle and upheld my end. I don’t feel the same is being done for me.

Went in for a quick repair to refasten the undercarriage panel which came loose from all of the rain we have recently experienced in Fort Lauderdale. Repair went smoothly and service advisor was good, However, after I picked the car up and began driving, the panel came loos again and was dragging against the pavement for 30 minutes until I could get back to the dealership again to fix. This time they re-screwed the panel correctly (so far), but the panel is damaged (melted) from where it dragged along the pavement. I was not made aware of this when I returned it for the second time.

I had to put my van in for a fix to an air bag that they had already fixed a year ago, I was told a poor connection was the problem this time so I figure poor workmanship and poor install. There wass a recall on the van so they addressed that at the time. My van was given back to me after the recall fix to the drive shaft and the van would not drive over 5mph. Gave it back to me and was told my transmission module failed and it’s a $2500 fix. Nothing wrong with it when it went in and my mechanic had just scanned the system so I know there was nothing wrong when it was sent there. I complained to Ford Corp and had the bill reduced by half but still am out of pocket by over $1200. Service manager was not communicating with Ford Corp, the customer service told me he was not taking their calls or answering thier emails. I would avoid this place if you can. You may get a bigger bill than you bargained for.

This dealership is definitely a high volume dealer, where I felt like nothing more than another sale and just another number. The salesmen that I had experience with were not very knowledgeable at all. I bought a used 2017 F150 and on first start I noticed it had an aftermarket exhaust and the sales guy told me it was stock. As soon as I got out of the truck, there were Roush exhaust tips in plain sight. It also had a tune and an aftermarket intake I was not told about. The truck had no emblems on it and when I asked, the sales guy said that he physically went out and looked and they were there. They clearly are not. The sales guys will tell you whatever you want to hear to make the sale. They sold me the truck with one key and I had to buy another key ($350) after I accidentally got the Ford MyKey stuck into a valet mode and could not go over 80mph and the radio volume would not go over 14. I called numerous times just to be told whatever I wanted to hear to get me off the phone and I never heard back from them again. Be careful when buying from this dealer; I will never buy from this dealer again. I am a BMW master tech and called them out on all of their lies from the sales guys. Just imagine if you don’t know anything about cars…

Purchased a Transit connect van. I had other dealers still trying to sell me a van for four days even after asking for a price that they still failed to send on first request. I already had my van at home and the other dealers were still trying to sell a van. They made it easy for me to purchase from this dealership. I got a fair price in 5 minutes from John the manager. After that point I placed a deposit because they were closing. Returned the next day with a cashiers check and Moe the salesman had the van full of fuel and washed up. If I need another ford I will head east. (I live closest to Sawgrass Ford). I have told a lot of people how I was pleasantly surprised by Grieco Ford.

They claimed they had to take the cab of my truck off to repair an oil cooler, they did not or they would have notice the cab mounts or perhaps they for got to put them back. Either way stay away from there service department, the service adviser and mechanic both told me the cab had to come, they also told me I needed to replace a pulley while it was accessible, but they put the cab back on with bad mounts? That would have been the first thing they saw if they pulled the cab. Next stop BBB

It took over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation appointment at 10:30am to be done. And, no Nitrogen was put in my tires. I wrote in the note to put Nitrogen in my tires. After, I paid, I had to wait even longer to get the tires inflated. It makes me wonder if my oil was changed and my tires were rotated. It makes me leery about the service since I am not allowed to see what the service members are working on. Also, the waiting room was no set up for CDC guidelines for social distancing. I kept having to move away from people. That were getting to close.

Flew down from Tampa to purchase a vehicle. Everything went very smooth and we were very happy with the process. Fast forward 30 days and my car is now parked in my driveway while we wait for our license plate to show up. Not sure who dropped the ball or what the situation is, was told I would be getting a call with the details but that didn’t happen.

Thank you to Mr Richard Dalby in service for assisting me with my Land Rover. I reside outside of the state of Florida and was in transit to transport canines to they’re respective homes. The water pump blue on the truck and frankly I panicked because of my responsibilities to my clients. I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation and came to my appointment with a coupon from Grieco that I’d received for an oil change and tire rotation for $49.95. I pulled up in the service lane and waited about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I then spoke with Jonathan Cardoza and he advised me of other service that my car was due for including transmission and brake service. The total for all service was more than $1000. This was so much more than what I planned for so I asked for a discount. He said he could give me 10 percent off. He also said I needed new tires. I asked him how much that would be and he said $1495. That seemed like a lot to me so I asked him what brand of tires they would be and he said he wasn’t sure but probably the same type as I had now. He wants to charge me that much for tires but can’t tell what brand they are? I said I’d wait on the tires. When I came to get my car, I reviewed my bill and saw that there was no 10 percent off reflected on my bill. I also saw the oil change was billed at $53, more than the coupon I’d given him. When I asked Jonathan, he said the original cost in the computer was more. But if the 10 percent off is not reflected on the customer’s receipt how can I know I received the discount? He said he also gave me 10 percent off the oil change, but how can that be true if it cost more than the $49.95 on the coupon? He also seemed annoyed that I had questions about the charges and he walked off. When I paid and got to my car, there was rust and debris on my front seats from a repair to the sunroof. Could someone not remove or vacuum out the debris before bringing it to the customer? I started the car and noticed right away the tire sensors showed that my tires were not properly inflated. I looked for Jonathan for assistance, but he was hiding somewhere. Another staff person finally asked if I needed help and assisted me with inflating my tires. So I paid more than $1000 for service, including a tire rotation yet the tires weren’t properly filled with air? I began to question the quality of all the work that was done and began to feel like I’d been ripped off. And just like my arrival, when I paid my bill, there was no greeting or thank you. I’ll never return to Grieco for service. It’s also unlikely I’ll ever buy another GM product, but if I do, it definitely will not be from Grieco Chevrolet. How do you go out of business? One customer at a time.

I have purchased my vehicles and had my service done at this location since 2002. I do not believe I will be returning. They did an extremely poor job of keeping me notified While a was buying a new battery. Not until I was ready to leave did I get a price. And it was more than $100 more than the quote I was given. I think $285 for a new battery is absurd. Plus they gave me no paperwork as to what kind of battery they put in. Mike did tell me I have a 4 year warranty but he gave me absolutely no paperwork to that effect. I am very unhappy and it is doubtful I will ever return to Grieco either for service on the car I have nor to purchase a new vehicle. I hope GM publishes this review. And make note that I am extremely unhappy and disappointed.

All the way from the poor customer service to the brand new car that comes with defects! My favorite part is when you call to tell them about the defect in a brand new car they just sold you and you get hung up on! Overall my experience was good. I have my car serviced at this location all the time and usually wait up to 2 hours or so for a routine oil change to be done. This time I was in and out in less than an hour which was great. My only complaint would be about one of the salesmen who was continuously coughing, sneezing, blowing his nose, clearing his throat and then hacking away the entire time I was there and he was not wearing a mask. If he is sick he should stay home. He even walked right through the waiting area where there were 4 people waiting, socially distanced and wearing masks but he had no mask on and was coughing like crazy. I give Ford a thumbs down for allowing him to conduct himself in this manner with a pandemic going on.

This place has handled 2 recalls for me, the second of which (door latches) Ford had not prepared Grieco on how to perform it. As a result, I had to take the car in to see if it qualified (when I already knew it did based on my VIN) and then I was instructed to bring it back at a later date to be serviced, and then I was even asked to photograph my own car at home to help them complete their assessment, because it wasn’t done correctly the first time. Ford bears some responsibility here, but so does Grieco. More concerningly, I’ve received numerous advertisements over the years claiming that this dealership would pay me $5,000 MORE than my car is worth if I traded it in (e.g. if my car were worth $1000, they would give me $6000). I decided this offer was worth pursuing so I came in, but it turned out to be fraudulent; Grieco had not intention of honoring the offer I was sent. Finally, the service department once took two attempts to provide a single diagnosis of a single issue because they misunderstood the reason I brought the car in; I handed it over to diagnose engine noise and I also casually mentioned the engine light was on so I wouldn’t mind if they checked the code. They attempted to charge me almost $200 for running the code, which is free at any auto store, and I left without a diagnosis for the issue I came in with. I fought for the issue to be re-assessed (actually, assessed for the first time), but a certified mechanic I asked to review Grieco’s work said their diagnosis was not reliable. I’m inclined to agree.

Took my 2000 Ford F-350 to ford to get the Ac fix, ac was not blowing. I was told it would be $139 diagnosis the problem. After problem diagnosed I was told it would be $1391 to get cold ac. So I said ok fix it. Job done I paid $1391. I drove round parking lot to test ac. The ac is not cold. I took it back and said ac is not cold. They took It back in the shop. I was told it needs another part and it would be another $600. So I’m still in a hot truck but less $1391. Worst experience ever, I thought taking your vehicle to the dealer for repair was the best option. They are liars and thieves. And my truck ac still not working. Check your vehicle make sure it’s fix before you pay.

After a LOT of shopping around for cars. I found a really clean 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Grieco Ford. The Jeep was really clean, and they had a really good price on it. It was the first vehicle I had ever financed so I was a little bit nervous about the process. The whole process was not as painful as I was expecting. Lee the Sales Manager and Leonardo helped me through everything and I was actually in and out the door in about an hour and a half! They got me a decent interest rate with a great bank! Had issue with break light switch and was quoted incorrectly over the phone. In addition, was incorrectly quoted for the cost of fixing my key fob. All in all, the actual price was hundreds of dollars more than I was quoted. Had I known the real price, I wouldn’t have moved forward. Finally, was charged for the recall on the door latches. Only after I mentioned their mistake, were they willing to take the recall (which should be free) off the invoice. Will be servicing my vehicle elsewhere in the future.

“Recently I purchased a used truck from this dealership. My Salesman and the finance manger(whose names I cant remember) were both very helpful and made the process of purchasing very easy. I drove from the west coast all the way to the store in Fort Lauderdale to purchase the vehicle because they had the specific truck that I had been searching for. My salesmen sent me detailed photos and videos of the truck to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and was not going to have any unexpected issues with the truck after driving 140 miles each way to pick up the truck. From the time the photos were taken and sent to me to the time I picked up an purchased the truck the next day someone had slashed the front driver side tire with a 4″” gash in the sidewall of the tire and scratched the rim. I am not sure if the detail department hit a curb or what may have happened. From the time the photos were sent to me from the salesmen you can clearly see that it was not there 24 hours prior to picking up the truck. The finance department was able to take $200 off of my down payment to cover the cost of the tire. I explained that the tires on my new truck are not $200, the cost of the tire is $485 mounted on the rim (oversized Nitto Terra Graplers). The manager of the store would not help me cover the full cost of the tire and denied that the store had done the damage. Rims and tires do not magically burst and get scratched. The dealership recommended local tire shops for me to have the tire fixed before my two and a half hour drive home. Nobody had the tire in stock after trying six stores in the Fort Lauderdale area. The stores also explained that the tire was not able to be plugged or patched because of where the gash was in the sidewall. I drove the truck back and had to stop and fill up the tire with air every 20 -30 minutes with the rapid leak in the tire. I eventually blew out the tire completely and had to have the truck towed the last 50 miles of trip. I own a construction company and have purchased dozens of vehicles and pieces of equipment all over the state of Florida. I have never had a dealer put me in such a strange situation and also refuse to pay for the cost of damages clearly done by the dealer.”

“I will give one star for their courtesy and attentiveness…but… My car would take forever to start after putting in gas. It would stall off and on for a short period of time after filling with gas. I took it to the dealership to have it diagnosed (which cost over $100). I was told that the “”vapor canister vent valve”” would need to be replaced. This would cost $500. Not being able to afford it at the time, I drove around for two months, praying my car would start and not stall after filling. I found out a coworker fixed cars on the side. He confirmed the diagnosis, bought the part, crawled under my car, popped off the old part with his keys, and installed the new part. $15 and 5 minutes to fix my car. It now runs beautifully! Do not take your car to the dealership for repairs- ever!”

I brought my mustang to Greico Ford (just a few months after puchasing it from them) for a simple short shifter install. They completely butchered the car , causing 1500 dollars worth of damage by leaving a bolt off the driveshaft resulting in me having to take the car to Pompano Ford to have the driveshaft and driveshaft coupler replaced. They also didnt bother installing the rubber boot on the shifter causing a bunch of heat to come into the car and threw away the boot. They lied about it when fronted and subsequently stopped responding to me altogether. These are not trustworthy people and you absolutely should not do business with them. Wanted to put new air conditioner system for over $2700 into F250, all it needed was $10 part and new freon. Their procedure is incorrect they have to charge the system, unhook the machine wait 30 minutes and check the pressure again than if the pressure is lower start looking for problem from the valve first. Bad mechanic and not knowledgeable manager of service department.

My Lincoln MKC developed noises related to suspension and needed to have two shocks replaced. The Service Rep, Dave, did a great job getting me in, having the problem diagnosed, and fixed. The regular courtesy driver, and older gentleman gave me a ride home and picked me up after the repair. He is a kind man and safe driver. My car is driving beautifully again! Writing for a friend. She bought a minicooper from these guys and they made her to purchase a warranty from them for $2700 while the the factory warranty was still on and they did not tell her that. Fast-forward 12 months later she got check engine light and took her car to them they asked her to take it to minicooper dealer. Apparently their service department do not communicate with their sales department. Their service department blamed her for purchasing ford premium care for minicooper and they wanted her to read entire warranty agreement. Bottom line, they did not service the car and they made her purchase their warranty while the vehicle itself has the factory warranty. Their sales people just took advantage of people.

I recently had a great experience buying a truck at Grieco. Everyone was very patient with my two young kids climbing on the back of trucks and into the cars. Tyler, our salesperson, provided fruit snacks out of his desk and had granola bars available- he also offered the WiFi password so my kids could watch cartoons while we waited to close the deal. Also, I left a rare cd in the car I traded in and Tyler went out of his way to send it to my house via FedEx- to me, this was above and beyond because other salespeople would’ve expected me to drive 40 minutes back to the dealership. Lastly, I needed a quick follow-up visit to the services department for an installation, and Tyler made arrangements for this to happen at the Delray dealership closer to my house- a great display of teamwork and customer support for which both dealerships deserve to be commended. I feel like I got a good deal, which is most important, but the positive experience both during the sale and immediately afterwards was really appreciated.

Brought my truck in for routine oil change. When I got it back I smelled burning oil. Checked the oil filter and oil was coming out of it and dripping on the ground. Checked the dipstick and the oil was not only black and smelled old and burnt but was way overfilled. I called and spoke to the services advisor who tried to tell me that a machine fills the vehicles with oil and sometimes makes “mistakes”. I thought I had heard it all but this was a new one. I’ve watched the mechanics service my truck at other dealers and they poured the oil by hand from a jug, I have never seen this oil filling machine he spoke of. They did offer to correct the issue but I don’t have time to bring my truck all the way back and wait for them to fix the problem so I corrected the oil level myself. I won’t be going back, and I thought this was one of the better dealerships for service, guess I was wrong.

Took car in for oil change and alignment. Unfortunately, both were done incorrectly! Picked up car and found car burning significant amounts of oil and steering wheel not aligned properly. Mechanic failed to remove old oil which resulted in overfilling! Two star for taking accountability and providing rental car for two days, but as a loyal customer to Grieco, it makes me wonder, what type of mechanics work there, how come quality control (if any) did not address mistakes before releasing car to me and whether Grieco deserves working on my car again.
