What an amazing experience! We drove from West Palm Beach (about a three hour ride) to buy a Cali Special Mustang. We negotiated over the phone, came in, did a test drive, did financing, and were out in two hours. Jeff was amazing!! Its a car dealership, there are loads of cars and loads of salesmen, just what you would expect from a dealership. Prices are good value, staff are friendly and helpful, and the sales staff are not overly pushy. All in all not what I expect of a dealership, but just what I want from one. After sales support seems good as well, and you don’t get the feeling of being dropped after you buy something. Definitely my first stop next time I need a car.

Rich Freeman is who you need to talk to. I have purchased 2 trucks from him and had multiple family members also get vehicles with him over the years. He is a straight shooter and tells you upfront how it is, there isn’t any back and forth. If you want someone that will be clear cut and to the point, he’s your man. Never makes you feel like you can’t get into the vehicle you want. I’ve had other sales guys not want to give me the time a day or say that maybe it was to much truck or that I couldn’t afford it. Went in the next day and bought my first truck from Rich, yes the truck I was told I couldn’t afford. Rich treated me and my family great throughout both processes. So if you want to deal with a great guy and better sales man, ask for Rich.

I took my F350 to Matthews-Currie Ford for an oil change and tire rotation. Amber was my service tech and she was friendly and courteous. Amber kept me informed on the progress of the work being performed which I appreciated. The work was completed and everything was good, I thought. Within one week of leaving the dealership, I noticed that one of the center caps on a rear wheel was missing. The truck had almost 40,000 miles and I have never lost a center cap. It had to be that it was not replaced properly from the dealership. A week following that discovery, I noticed that the center cap on the other rear wheel was missing. Now I have lost two. I contacted Russell, the service manager and he seemed sincere that he would look into what Matthews-Currie Ford could do. I waited with great expectation for his return call. Within a couple of days, Russell returned my call and said that the dealership would replace the center caps. I waited for another call saying that the new center caps were ready to pick-up. Matthews-Currie Ford is a dealership that takes customer service seriously and strives to resolve customer complaints. I wholeheartedly support Mathews-Currie Ford and they have earned my automotive business.

LIVID! Spoke to Haley 20 minutes before the dealership closed to reserve a car for the next morning at opening time. We were told she would meet us there at 11 to show us the car and have it ready. when we arrived, she was nowhere to be found and a salesman said the car sold last night. No phone call, no sorry about that we should have told you. Salesman was quick to say “it is out of my control”! Worst customer service we have seen in a long time.

All I can say is from the moment I stepped on this dealership lot, on a SUNDAY, I had nothing but a 100% awesome experience. Salesman was not pushy, he helped me by LISTENING to my wants/needs/requirements and assisted me when needed. The company sincerely seemed interested in assisting my in my quest for a used truck, and the delivered. They worked with me with regard to my price range and timeline. I hear horror stories about how pushy car salesman can be, trying hard to put you into something you did not want or could afford. This Ford dealership by far goes the extra mile to make you feel good about going there. Tristan checked us in and the place was busy. No matter he said, you guys are important that the appointment is squared away from start to finish. Talked to a new sales guy that just started his first day of work. “Finally drove down from St. Pete today to look at this truck I had seen online. As my luck goes it sold right before I got there. As I was about to leave Rusty asked if he could show me what they did have. Normally I run from the sales people but, he had a genuine approach and didn’t seem like the type that was going to haggle and blow smoke just to sell anything. He really wanted to get me what I wanted. I had so many questions about everything he showed me and he went above and beyond to make sure he answered them all to my understanding. I have been searching for a new truck for a while and really got worn down on all the salesman back and forth at other dealerships. This was the easiest/best experience I could ever imagine. Walked in the door, told them the truck I wanted, told them what I wanted to pay, and after my salesman talked to a manager it was approved and done. They didn’t try and hassle me or talk me into anything I didn’t want. They didn’t bait and switch the price which happened at EVERY OTHER DEALER. Salesman Jeff Reeves was so helpful over the phone, even though he was speaking with my 18 year old grandson! I was unsure what type of replacement car I wanted, if I should lease or buy. Jeff had great suggestions and was so accommodating, I bought a car from him that day. I’m totally happy with the car, the service I received, even the finance department! Could not have been more satisfied with my service experience at Mattews-Currie Ford. Made an online appointment, showed up at the designated time, was greeted at my truck by Travis, who was appropriately masked. He surveyed my truck, took down the necessary information and I went for a walk. Within 40 minutes, I was called by Travis that my truck was ready. He went over the report, walked me to my truck, where he removed the protective seat and floor cover, and off I went. From the moment I spoke to the sales agent on the phone I said I already had Capital One financing and that that’s who I was using. After refusing to sell me the car until they ran me through multiple inquiries I was tricked in to signing with a different company. I have the car for a little over three months and the convertible top stops working only to find out that the top cable was rigged as the repair man stated. This repair cost me thousands. I then decided to sell this lemon but I am unable to since the finance company never filed with the state. Its been 4 months .I am now hostage to not selling my cart in the middle of a pandemic. Shame on this dealership and shady Andy in finance.

This is the 3rd Auto I have purchased from Matthews Currie in the past 5 years with one being a pretty loaded 2015 F150 Lariat 4×4 crew cab and this last one being a 2020 F250 4×4 Lariat so not cheap cars. while my first experiences with the dealer were good this one was nothing but lies: First the Sales person told me he was a Manager so no commission, well his card did not say Manager nor does the website. Told me truck would be around 7k less than sticker, ended up being 3400.00 less It was missing a few options that I wanted like the cooled seats, sales man told me he would hook me up with a guy he knows that does it for $250 a seat, the real story was over $450 a seat Told them I wanted to use the Credit Union that I had due to their interest rate 2.75 they said they used that bank and would put it through there, but after signing all the paper work found out they put me with 5th 3rd bank at a rate of 5.24 oh and with a credit score of almost 800 on Experian I was planning on buying the extended warranty and planned to pay cash for this so not financing this, also told me or sure made it sound like oil changes / service was included with this showing me a paper that was for a $800 number and that they were selling it to me at their cost, come to find out after I got home and grabbed my glasses this was more like two different items totaling over $3000 told the finance guy that I wanted to put down a few thousand down as I was planning on paying for the extended service plan in cash, he asked if I would only put down 1000 as it would help him picking up some kick back from the bank, I reluctantly said ok. then after all the paperwork was done he did not ask me for the check when I asked what was up he said he put it all in the loan. I was very clear that I wanted to payments to not be into the 800’s and was shown a number putting it around $790 but what I got stuck with was a $830 payment. After i signed all the small windows for the computer signer and got the paperwork I noticed the bank being changed to Fifth Third Bank, when I confronted him about this, he said oh its no big deal, we changed this so we could get you a little more off on your truck and once I make three payments I can refinance it with another bank of my choosing at a better price. Was missing a key to the truck and said they would bring one to me the next day, when I did not hear from the salesman I texted him, no answer and left work early to swing by to pick it up. when I arrived at the dealership I was told he left work early, they called him and said they would get that key out to me tomorrow, well that did not happen either as I had to contact the sales manager to get a call back then I had to come in again on Saturday and wait while they made a new one as they lost the other key. In the end I dropped the ball as we all know you can not trust a salesman but with the past three deals going well and having a relationship so I thought with them I was a bit laxed and trusted what they were doing, by law I should have exercised my right to cancel the contract by that 3rd day. They did good by me before but obviously they are not the same company. I had contacted the sales manager about all these issues and other than a phone call and a false quote for my cooled seats I had nothing but lies. :^) hope it was worth it for them.

My husband and I drove by MCF lot after hours and saw a 2012 Jeep wrangler. The next Monday we went to the dealer where we were greeted by Ken, he was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We test drove the Jeep and found everything working and the over all condition was excellent. I had a question about the about the engine, so Ken had a mechanic come out and he answered all of my questions. Ken also recommended that we take the Jeep to our mechanic just to make sure there was no mechanical issues. We went inside for the dreaded negotiations, and we were presently surprised with the whole process. Ken was very helpful and professional throughout the process. We ended up signing a contract for the amount we were willing to spend for the Jeep, that never happens to us! Within an hour we were out the door and driving off with our new Jeep. “I walked thru the MCF lot after hours and saw a 2020 Escape Hybrid I really liked. The next Monday I drove to the dealer where I was greeted by Derrick, who was happy to show me the vehicle. He was neatly dressed, looked me in the eyes, and had a friendly smile. We demo drove the Escape while he informed me of all the systems on the very high tech Titanium edition. Of course I very much enjoyed the way it drove. The quiet interior, and informative dash with 8″” touchscreen impressed me. We arrived back at MCF and proceeded inside to do some quick negotiating and I signed an offer. The management accepted, so Derrick quickly prepared a credit report and other paperwork. He left me with my smartphone while he had the SUV prepared and detailed. Within an hour of my offer, I was in the finance/documents office with Chris, who was friendly and professional. He and I diced thru many pages of paperwork, while discussing the current weird condition of the planet. After fifteen minutes, we were done. I left his office to be handed my keys and manuals. We found the vehicle we wanted, inquired online and Kim contacted us the very next morning. Kim and I talked about exactly what we wanted, gave her the VIN on our trade in as well as sent pictures. She called back with in a 1/2 hour or less to tell me we had a deal. Later in the afternoon I texted Kim to give me a call, we had few questions. After speaking on the phone about the 0% financing, I wanted to make sure we absolutely qualified for the incentives and the 0% before we made the hour drive. We also scheduled an appointment for the next morning to look at one specific Expedition. She also told us to ask for her the next morning. Fast forward to the next morning. We get there and ask for Kim, only to find out Kim isn’t in yet and she also does internet sales so she wouldn’t be working with us. In steps George Masterjohn (He absolutely saved this sale, if it wasn’t for him we would have walked). We asked George to go over the price on the Expedition before he went to get the keys. George looked at the notes in the system, no price had been written down. So we had to fill George in on the number talked about over the phone. So of course, the price we talked about did not qualify for Ford’s 0% financing, which I specifically asked for. They also didn’t have the Expedition we were looking for on the lot, they had loaned the vehicle out. At this point we were uneasy about the whole situation. George asked him to give him one chance, we did. He found another color we liked and worked with the manager to get the deal we needed. In the end we are very happy with the rest of the staff and George. We do not feel Kim mislead us intensionally, I just believe she didn’t have her facts together. All in all, we were very happy! Just felt that 4 stars was accurate and we needed to be heard.

I wasn’t just told that my credit scored low. A gentleman in the credit department proclaimed! I owed to much in child support. Im aware that my credit score, it’s not the best but middle 6s isn’t horrible. Why would a dealership be concerned with my arrearages in child support? I asked the gentleman in sales was there anything I could do to resolve the issue maybe even a counter offer? Clearly my driver’s license is good, and I make my child support payments to the best of my ability. Unfortunately the balance in arrears is difficult to control. This intolerable experience happened around May of 2020. Never heard from any of the other staff. I make steps to be a father to the best of my ability with the legal resources that I am given. I felt uncomfortable, and humiliated. I drove away in my Ford P71. I promised myself I will never do any business with this company ever again. After I found out that this interaction was a fluke. I ended up buying a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado. Plenty of other dealerships wanted my business.

They sold me a car where the Audio Control Module went bad within 3 months(cost to fix that is 2600) so now i have no music, my heated mirror stopped working around 3 months in as well(cost to fix that is 1400). The water pump busted about 5 months in( the cost to fix that from Ford was over 3000). Basically what I am saying is FORD stands for Found on Road Dead. Never going to buy another car from Ford again and I cant wait to get rid of my Taurus because the car has become asbolute trash not even 8 months in. They talk real nice, and soft to you while they are ripping you off, don’t fall into their little trick because they got good customer service, they ripped me off while smiling.

On May 21st, 2020 I had an appointment with Matthews-Currie to have front brakes installed in my 2014 F-150 XLT 4 door. Josh Hutchinson was handling all the arrangements for me. I was told that it would take around two hours or more to complete this repair. The cost that I was given was approx. $560.00. Well I arrived at 0940 hours and my truck was taken right in. Was met my Josh in the service area, and took care of the paperwork. Josh kept me advised on the progress of the repair, and the truck was finished and at the front door is less than two hours, and the finish and out the door cost was$ 420.00, a savings of $ 140.00 from the original cost. All my service’s are handled by Josh and Russell at Matthews-Currie Ford. My next truck will be another from Matthew-Currie Ford and Ken McMahon in Truck Sales.

I recently bought a car at Matthews-Currie Ford. I believe I got a great car at a good/fair price, however I was upset with some things that happened during the purchase process. A few weeks after my purchase, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had been deceived. I sent an email to GM of Sales Brad Bielen. Brad responded almost immediately and offered to set up a call to discuss the situation. A few days later I had a phone call and they were receptive to what I had to say. We were able to reach an agreement that in my mind resolved the issues I had. Obviously it would have been great if I had not had these issues in the first place, but to be fair, customers and businesses aren’t always going to see eye to eye. When I sent the email, I honestly did not expect them to care and I definitely did not expect them to agree to resolve my issues. You see what a business is really made of when conflict arises. Brad and his team went above and beyond the call of customer service to rectify the situation. I would definitely do business with them again.

“Came in for recall on airbag for my Mustang. I asked service to check tire pressure as the low pressure light had just come on while driving to the dealership. Service writer told me I had a nail “”near the sidewall’ and needed a new tire. I ordered one to be mounted the next day but stopped at a local tire shop and they told me the nail was not near the sidewall and that they could plug it with no problem. They saved me about $200 which was nice since the tires on my Mustang had only 6000 miles on them. Why couldn’t the dealership have done this instead of trying to sell me a new tire?”

While I expected there to be the usual add on Dealer Fees, Document Fees, Sales Tax, etc, the fee that killed the deal was the “”Must Finance..”” fee. Get this: if I paid CASH for the car, Matthews Currie Ford would charge me an additional $1,600!! Went in for a diagnosis before moving & needing to drive 1400 miles hauling a trailer. Told I needed a Powertrain Control Module and that it wasn’t recommended to drive that far without it being replaced. Paid for the diagnosis and part up front. Waited a week for the PCM to be ordered and arrive. Once the PCM arrived, I received the call and took the truck in. Waited in lobby for three hours. Then was told the PCM would not work and that they would refund me for the part and I could try a dealership in the state I was moving to, as if I wasn’t already told the drive with the PCM fault wasn’t recommended already. Their parts reception was helpful, refunded my money and returned calls. But their mechanics are questionable. They also broke my driver’s door window regulator which worked all the time up to that point and I didn’t notice it until the next day when I was already in route on my 1400 mile drive. I made the 1400 mile move with no issues. Saved $1100 on the PCM issue, but now have to have my window regulator fixed.

I stopped by to schedule my first oil change on my new F150 and mentioned a few things that seemed different to me to my Salesman, Rusty Patterson. Rusty introduced me to Russell, the service manager and after I explained the characteristics in question, he asked me to stop by anytime and he would be happy to check them. (I had a 2016 F150 previously and the new truck had improvements to the engine and transmission and both seemed to operate a little different than I was used to). I made the appointment with Amber for the first oil change only. When I arrived for the oil change, I mentioned the conversation I had with Russell and Amber told me she would discuss these with him and added these to my work order however the time allotted may not allow these to be completed and I may need to return at a later time. I understood and had no problem in doing so. The technician (I forgot his name), not only completed the first oil change and overall condition but addressed each of the items I had questioned and updated the transmission computer and checked the front end alignment. I was so thankful! And I forgot to mention, I was waiting for the oil change and the customer waiting area is wonderful. Even had a catered lunch! The service team at Matthews Currie Ford are the best! Thank you ALL

The best Ford dealer in the area. Do not go to Charlotte Ford. Been there and the lies were insane. Just more BS as usual. Venice Ford didn’t waste my time and I had a blast while being there. I wish all dealerships were like this.
