Could not have asked for better customer service! Luis, our salesman, was so helpful and did not push us into anything. He was very helpful with his knowledge of different vehicles and very patient. He sincerely cared about what we wanted and needed. In fact, all of the employees that helped us close the deal were great to work with. Auffenberg offered many choices of cars at really reasonable prices. We definitely recommend Auffenberg!

Please buy a vehicle anywhere else. If you value honestly and commitment to excellence do not but at an Auffenberg dealer! I was sold a new truck only to find some pretty extensive damage on the roof a month later. The damage was bad enough that I would have know if I did it. Check my home security cameras and it was there the day I drove it home. The manager told me that it was on me, since his body shop told him that I probably did it. They chose to ignore the pictures. He told me that they detailed when they get it and when I took it home. Right, they detailed the roof of a 6 foot tall truck and it was raining the day I bought it. The pic isn’t great but you can clearly see the reflection of the dent, even from that distance. **UPDATE** Thank you to Dustin Baron at Auffenberg Ford O’Fallon for reaching out. It only took one phone call with him to come to an agreeable resolution. It may have not been the outcome I was hoping for, but the gesture was greatly appreciated.

I had to come back and change my review. While the sale was quick and efficient, I found my sale dissatisfied. The day I purchased my car, I notice a low tire, deep dents and scratches, and a cracked windshield. My sales agent had my tire aired, put in for a replacement window. and did not address the dents—only said that was probably not going to change because paint filler was already used. The next day, my tire was completely low. I called, emailed, and did not get a response. It took a promised to file a BBB report to get any traction. I was told I would get a replacement tire; I have not received on yet. My tire went completely flat by Monday ( I bought the car on a Friday). There was a screw in it—you could not miss it if you aired the tire. In addition, a plug in another tire already, and a staple in another. I washed my car and all of the paint filler washed away, and now all of the dents and scratches are visible; the car was clearly sideswiped prior to sale. Today, over a week later, my front window shield was finally replaced. The tech took pictures and stated that there is a screw missing on the wiper blades and needed to be addressed, unless I want my wiper flying off. He also commented on the dents and scratches. So to wrap up: still awaiting my tires, dents and scratches need to be addressed ASAP, new wiper blades needed. I emailed Auffenberg today, and no response—shocking. On to BBB. Terrible.

Purchased a used car and received EXCELLENT customer service. From my first contact through the end of the purchase John Floyd sent a video of the car, made an appointment for me to test drive the car and answered every question with INTEGRITY. Like many, I work hard and will not spend my money in any place that doesn’t treat me with respect or provide good customer service. I have went to several dealerships and had the option to buy elsewhere, but the service here merits the sacrifices i made to make this purchase. Keep up the great work, you are an EXCEPTIONAL TEAM!!
The Great Satan
This place is really convenient because of the location. It seems like the light is timed in a way to make you have to sit and wait for the next one and look over at their vehicles. The lot is bigger than it appears so you really need to stop and check it out for yourself. And never fails and even after buying my own truck that I’m sitting at the lights and seeing another truck that I want to go check out. I also really like the clear-cut pricing on the windows. I hate going to dealers where nothing is marked and you are required to ask the dealership. For me that’s a telltale sign to walk away

We found a car on line at Auffenberg Ford Belleville. Alexis was fantastic. We had all our facts before we arrived on a Saturday. The car was in service and had not been detailed yet. Alexis made sure we were aware of that. Jordan Breakfield was our Sales Consultant. He did a great job. He kept his word. And worked on our time line to have the car ready for us. Big oof – car won’t start today. Serious engine problems suspected. Obviously, I know that you can only expect so much, and I predicted it would last about 2 years before it would break down, so now surprise there. However, having shelled out 9800 plus full coverage insurance, I can safely say that I didn’t get much for my money. Also, still have to pay the loan off. They got me. They got me good.

We were unable to find the vehicle we wanted for a price we were willing to pay close to home so we decided to purchase from Auffenberg which is 800 miles from our home. Michael worked with me throughout the deal and was quick to answer my questions and return phone calls. We came to terms over the phone and nothing changed when we got there to purchase the car. After meeting with Michael, we met with Jason in finance and that too was an outstanding experience. He worked with me to find the extended warranty that I wanted and did not try to pressure me into other things that I didn’t want. Even had a chance to work with Alex the Sales Manager and he was instrumental in putting the final touches on an excellent experience that was well worth the drive.

What a great experience!! We had to have our 2015 F150 truck repaired after a deer ran into the drivers door on Route 3 in Columbia. Chadd was amazing, he kept us notified through each step of the process so we always knew what was being done. Him and his team in the body shop did a great job on the truck the paint and pin stripe look perfect. I highly recommend the paint and body shop here for anyone who is looking for quality work and friendly service.

“We need to speak to the owner. We purchased a vehicle from auffenberg Ford in Belleville. The sales man was rude, would not speak to me and would only talk nicely to my husband. He was sexist towards women, and would not even look at me hardly or take me seriously. Mike wheeler was rude, disrespectful and did not care about the customer. His one concern was about having lunch with his mom instead of coming to work on time to finish the deal. We noticed that there were clearly accidents and he brushed it off. It was mentioned several times about our concerns, since the accidents were never mentioned, and we thought what else could be wrong. Mike said there was nothing to worry about and it was cosmetic and some accidents don’t need to be reported. On 3/25 we purchased the car and had to have it towed not even 24 hours later back to the dealership so it could be looked at. The dealership had the car from 3/26 to 4/12. On 4/12 we came to get the vehicle and got 10 miles down the road had to put a gallon of coolant in only to have all of it leak out on the flying j lot. The dealership them refused to pay for the repairs and said it is not their responsibility. There is no concern for the customer. It is not a good place for kids. All they care about is how much money they can squeeze out of you. You better have a good tow plan if you purchase a vehicle from them. The car is still at the dealership and we received a phone call telling us about a quote to fix the vehicle which breaks the federal breach of warranty laws if you don’t qualify for lemon protection laws. There are also nationwide consumer rights protecting customers. We have not heard from the sales rep (Mike Wheeler) or the finance department, just the service department. We even asked the service department about the vehicle to make sure the problems were fixed and we were assured it was taken care of. They said everything was fixed, and inspected, and that the technician was “”out of the office”” so we couldnt talk to him.”

I do not care for hard sales or games with “someone else is interested in this same vehicle”. My salesman Jonathan Spearman understood that and was very professional. It wasn’t a pressure sale at all. Todd Ogle did a wonderful job of keeping the closing process quick and efficient which is so appreciated. Great experience!

Worst experience ever. We drive 2 hours to look at a vehicle ready to buy. They Didn’t have anyone to do an appraisal on my vehicle had to wait almost an hour just for appraisal. Sales man more concerned with being on his cellphone than trying to make a deal. When I was low balled trade value for my truck the sales man got smart a** and said if you think you can get what your looking for sell it outright and put the cash on the truck. Will never go back nor recommend this place. Spent 2 and half hours pretty much sitting in a chair. Told sales man truck we were looking at had a miss and he didn’t seem concerned. Honestly John didn’t seem to care if he made a sale or not

I bought a Volkswagen last month from Will. He has been incredibly helpful to me. My car was supposed to have a headlight replacement before being given to me to take home. There was a communication issue with Volkswagen about the repair. Long story short, Will and Mike Murphy have gone above and beyond customer service to help fix this issue. Process started out very rocky. Kyle worked hard to get our out-of-state purchase completed and all questions answered. Once it got to finance, it went downhill. First finance “manager”, Eric, spoke to us once then we never heard from him again. We left a few messages over a span of two weeks, crickets could be heard. He sent documents over to us, it was incomplete packet. The week before purchase, Alex was then assigned to us. Never actually heard from him, either. No calls, nothing. By this time, we were still dealing with our salesman, Kyle, more than the finance department. This is where Kyle really shines and showed he truly had an interest in us instead of just another sale. We made the trip to the dealership to complete the process in person because the documents that Alex sent over weren’t complete either; he didn’t even include the purchase contract. Finally, arriving at the dealership, Kyle came in on his day off to ensure this process was completed correctly. The finance person we dealt with, I forgot his name, was the finance manager from the preowned side. He was truly wonderful to deal with!! He answered all of the questions the previous two finance guys never responded to. Overall, a good experience, just need to ask for the correct people. Ask for someone else if you’re assigned to Eric or Alex in finance. Kyle Floyd is definitely the one stop salesman to make sure your purchase goes smoothly.

When I bought my 2017 Dodge 1500 Ram..I was told buffing the scuff marks would remove them, your guys tried to buff them out but the one on the passenger rear bumper would not come out and I was told by your guys that it needed to get work done on bumper..I paid $28,000 for this truck and you can’t fix this..Jerome West sold me this truck..I’m very unhappy because you won’t repair this problem..I’m very unsatisfied with this service and I will not recomend your dealership to anyone..

I was having a great experience at Auffenberg Ford Belleville until it was time to talk about numbers. Apparently the truck I wanted was all of a sudden $5,000 MORE than the price advertised. This is after my salesman ASSURED me the price on the website was correct before I even stepped inside their building. Extremely frustrating, I was told by my salesman this also happened the night before. Seems like false pricing to get people in. Was also offered a cheaper truck because I was not happy with the $5,000 increase, who would be? False pricing, then bait and switch? I heard good things about this dealership, I wish my experience would have been the same.

Arrived at dealership to look at/test drive a vehicle we found online, we were confronted by a salesman saying sorry this car is not for sale. The check engine light came on and until it is properly repared we can not sale it.. Was entirely impressed with their professionalism and honesty. Was offered to look around at their inventory and found the right vehicle for the right price. Ira was a courteous and competent salesman who did not pressure for anything and worked hard to make sure we had a pleasant purchasing experience.

I went in on Saturday and paid for a VW Passat in cash. It literally fell apart on my way home. I made it home, immediately took pictures and emailed them to the salesman Terry as this was an end of the day sale and happened after they closed. Also left a voicemail. Press forward to Monday and Terry calls me and tells me to have my insurance tow it, which was pretty unbelievable and obviously I told him I wouldn’t do that and that it absolutely needed towing, I couldn’t drive it back when he asked. I asked to speak to a manager and he said the manager was in a meeting and he would have him call me Couple of hours later he shows up with another gentleman to stop by and drop off a car for me to use. He proceeds to drive it around the block, confirms what I had already said that it needed to be towed. Then inspected the bottom pan that fell off and stated “oh yeah it’s missing a couple of bolts here”. They tow it later that evening. Keep in mind I kept asking to speak to a manager the whole day and getting forwarded to Terry instead. He told me he would have a manager call me twice and it never happened. Today I the mechanic Josh calls me and asks me if I hit anything (I would ask the same question) and I expressed that I absolutely did not hit anything. He hinted there might be a problem with the radiator. I had pulled over when I heard the shield drop and drag and inspected around and there was nothing in the road. Today I finally get to talk to Mike Murphy and he tells me he’s happy to get my money back but he needs to make sure to talk to the mechanic to make sure this isn’t my fault. Conveniently at this location, everyone is in meetings all the time, so he said he will talk to Josh when he is out of his meeting and call me back. That’s going on three hours ago. I emailed him expressing my desire to return the defected car and get my money back. Now the service department calls and says my car is ready and I can pick it up, and I still don’t know what the exact issue is, if the radiator was affected or not, or what I should do because Mike won’t contact me about refunding me my money. This whole exchange has been abhorrent, exhausting, and a massive nightmare. Do not come here if you’re seeking reliability, or even an acceptable level of customer service. There are plenty of other dealerships to work with.
I found the car I wanted at a great price. Will and Terry were friendly, and very helpful without being pushy. Best car buying experience I’ve ever had.
