I am very happy with the service I received at Golf Mill Ford while setting up a lease for a new Ford Explorer! I pretty much just worked with Ken Park, who said he was new, but went WAY above and beyond my expectations for the service quality I would get while buying my new car. While deciding on how I wanted to lease it, I decided I wanted to trade in my wife’s old car, but it was at home, and I had driven my work truck to the dealership. I figured I was going to have to come back another day to bring in my wife’s car and trade it for the Explorer, but Ken actually offered to drive the Explorer to my house for me! I drove my work truck home and he followed me in the Explorer, and when we got there I kept the Explorer and he drove back to the dealership with my wife’s old car. I didn’t think anyone would go that far (about 40 miles) and do that favor for me, but it REALLY helped! I am very happy with their service and I will definitely be back!

I brought my Suv to Fox Ford In Chicago and they butchered my SUV. Then my brother told me go where I bought my truck Golf Mill. I live in Chicago 5 minutes from Fox Ford, but I am willing to drive an extra hour to get the service I got at GOLF MILL FORD. EVEN IF THEY MOVED 3 HOURS AWAY I’D DRIVE 3 HOURS TO GET THE SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE I got at Golf Mill Ford. Bill sent me text messages of every step. I was kept up to date with every part of the service and recall I had done. The service manager Dean K. Was willing to take care of me on the spot as I just drove in to get a feel for the place but I couldn’t do it that day. He made sure when I called in to set appointment that I was immediately taken care of and I was. I can go on and on but I’m sure this info gets my point across. On a scale of 0 to 10 My first visit I score them 10. 2nd visit 10. I can almost guarantee my next visit will also be a 10 but I will keep you posted. I am a GOLF MILL FORD CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. I’m very happy with the work preform during my purchase The account manger Ed and salesmen Mariano Pulido did a outstanding job in placing me a Ranger Lariat . I want to buy 2019 model but these two gentlemen put me in a new 2021 for only hundred dollars more a month that I was planning on sending on the 2019. The interior doesn’t look and feel like a pick up truck plus the maintenance agreement will purchased last for the next TEN years. As Mr. Pulido stated all I have to do is call road assistance that’s great news to hear. If you want a really nice midsize pick up the The Ford Ranger Lariat. Plus my wife says I like good in it.

I came in searching for a Mustang that was listed on Golf Mill Fords website. The whole interaction prior to my arrival was great. I reached regarding a certain vehicle, I wish they had gone ahead and told me it was at another dealership or at least brought it in so I could have seen it and test drove it. Thankfully, I did my research and was sold. Just need the right price. After working with my salesman, Rowland was great. He was not pushy and just pleasant to work with. This is the representation of the new car buying experience. I would highly recommend him. I would be cautious when you speak with the sales manager, David Amin. We came to a deal and all of a sudden, while I am sitting in the office to sign paperwork, he says I would only get what was promised after I leave a positive review. This was never discussed and I was ready to walk away, but he rescinded what he said and honored our original deal. You might be wondering why I still gave 5 stars…. and this was solely because of Rowland and his great customer service. He did more than he had to do and made me comfortable and appreciate my business. Thank you, Rowland.

Buyer beware, dealership practices bait and switch tactics. They have a 2020 GT500 listed for sale at $105k. I went into the dealership, was given to a different salesperson than the one I had been speaking with and he said the car is $115k. They refuse to honor the advertised price. If they have no respect for someone buying a $105k vehicle I can’t imagine how poorly they treat someone buying a $25k vehicle.

“Sales associate was unfamiliar with the Ford Transit product and was unable to get anyone who had more product knowledge. E.g. When asking about the technical differences between the 250 and 350 variants I was told “”You can haul more with it”” instead of being told about the heavy duty axle, GVWR differences. Received heavy pressure to buy what they had there on the day without concern for my needs. Edit based on your reply: Your date details are correct but don’t change the relevance of this review. Further, my appointment was with Jonathan Colon but despite him calling me to confirm hours prior, Isaac told me he was unavailable for the appointment. I drove three hours to learn about the product and was disappointed at the waste of time. I’ve since purchased this model from an educated dealer.”

Come here if you want to get COVID! i walked in to pick up my car from the service department, and an entire cluster of employees and customers were not wearing masks. The person who drove my car to me was not wearing a mask INSIDE MY CAR. in the middle of a GLOBAL HEALTH PANDEMIC. As an immunocompromised person, I would prefer my health not to be endangered when I need mandatory service.

Bryan Fulton is a good salesman but a better person. I went to pick up a car but unfortunately it was on another lot. From the phone call to come in all to the final but Isaac was amazing. His personality and professionalism was very pleasant. He explained throughly and made sure my buy was satisfied to my expectations. Never gave me an attitude when I didn’t like the first 2 showings of vehicle. My credit not the best but he worked with me to give me a great deal like I had A1 credit that showed me that he have a passionate considerate heart. Everyone at this location was welcoming and spoke. The financial advisor went over paperwork until I understood what I was signing and agreeing to. I also like the fact after the purchased I received phone calls/text asking how the car is driven. They also gave me a service date to check out vehicle to make sure everything is safety to drive. Place is the absolute worst!! John Colon straight up lied to me about a truck on the lot. Called him before I made the 1 1/2 hour drive to the dealership to make sure the truck was still there. Sure is Tim come on in!!!! I get to the dealership and he hands me off to another salesman who proceeds to waist another hour of my time trying to sell me everything but the truck I came to buy. After another 1/2 hour of let me find out where that truck is they finally admit the truck is not there and never was, but we can sell you this truck… Great way to treat a 30yr customer or should I say former customer. I would look else where if you looking to buy a Ford and these guys will lie to tour face even as your walking out the door.

“Golf Mill is employing deceptive and fraudulent sales tactics to lure customers in the middle of a pandemic. I had a very clear and direct email conversation with an online Assistant Sales Manager. I articulated our needs, requested confirmation, and reconfirmed the application of necessary rebates, incentives, and financing required for us to come pick up the car. I asked to confirm the base price would not change or balloon before coming. I requested an Out the Door price before setting an appointment. Upon arrival, the new sales person immediately discredited the offer and I began showing the attached emails. The General Manager Nick Sfikas then was called in to help. I very plainly stated if the number before tax, title, and fees would move, we would leave. We weren’t looking to negotiate. We already traded 7-10 emails and a few calls. I had shopped with several dealers and it was the best price offered. I was ready to lock it in. That’s why I went through the effort to confirm several times. He attempted to blame other dealers for the tactic Golf Mill themselves employed, setting unrealistic and deceptive rates online to lure customers into the dealership. Nick stated they must do so to “”remain competitive.”” I found that ironic as their showroom is filled with banners claiming the #1 spot in sales volume for more than a decade. It’s a shame the business is being built this way now. Those banners start before the “”online”” era. I asked Nick plainly if the number was real because if it wasn’t I wanted to go get the kids. He admitted it wasn’t. We grabbed our stuff and left. I then received a text message from the online sales manager apologizing for miscommunication. That’s not what happened. They had plenty of opportunity to provide a more accurate price quote. They knowingly chose to treat a potential customer in this way. To lure us in and hope we’d give in to a higher rate after battling to confirm the competitive price all day. It’s a shame Golf Mill is damaging such a trusted and beloved brand as Ford. My grandfather worked for Ford as a tool and die maker in the 40s, 50s, and 60s. I was excited to buy a great Ford to carry my kids. Lesson learned about Golf Mill. Check out the Better Business Bureau’s website. We aren’t the only ones. The leader in the region should not be so desperate for sales. Find a reputable dealer that will treat you with respect and not bait and switch you!”

I would recommend anyone reading this post to steer clear of this location. From the GM to the sales management, they are all terrible people and will definitely rip you off if given then chance.

“They’re quick to help and have a huge inventory, but it is everything you probably don’t like about dealerships. Expect many calls after a visit, and expect dealers descending upon you as you drive in. Also, I made an appointment to test drive a specific car, and I received an email confirmation that they would “”have the car pulled around and ready.”” Of course they were just telling me that – no car was pulled around, and the one I specifically asked for was in another lot because a manager was using it as a personal take-home vehicle.”

Not happy with service. Rep explained that diagnostic fee will be waived if service is performed there. Then they quoted a 1 hour job at 2.5 hours plus diagnostic. Local mechanic repaired it for $65 compared to Golf Mills price of $398! When I asked to see what hours the book shows, they opened it up and closed it without showing it and said that that was what the technician requested. This was a simple belt and tensioner change. Won’t be back. What socks is they most likely get away with this every day.

Would never go back to this place customer service was overall average. Employees and customers didn’t have their masks and I felt really uncomfortable with the situation especially with a pandemic happening. I had to tell an employee to ask his coworkers to put their masks on and they didn’t and just walked away. Overall, they didn’t follow any COVID regulations and i felt uncomfortable and not safe.

Rip off top to bottom. Advertised a 2020 model for less. I get to the dealership the truck is 7,000 more than advertised due to gimmicks. Wont sell you a car for out the door price. Tired first for $8,000 down out of my pocket and 900 month for 72 months at 0%. I didn’t agree came down to 3,000 down. They tired to sell me $42,000 truck for $65,000. My trade in was KBB at $26,000 low value dealer trade in value, offered $22,000 only Lol. I saw several people being duped into monthly payment deals while I was at the dealer. Go to different ford dealer. Tactic here is to make you feel like you can’t have the car and after all there games want you think they are working for you when clearly if you know how to do math you are over paying for the vehicle.

Edited to add in response to the reply to this review: The employee in service who checked me in specifically pulled down his mask while talking to me so that I “”could hear him better”” (did so preemptively, was not because I couldn’t hear). The employee in the cashiers office was unmasked while I checked out. I saw employees and customers going in and out of the showroom unmasked as well.”

Do not believe what they show on the website, i called and spoke to Jackie she said she’s a sale person. She lied. I asked about the crazy discount they are offering, she said ford is offering great incentives and the large discount is total of all of them. If you dont qualify for the entire discount the dealership will give you a certificate for the remaining discount to get the large discount. LIE. The manager Muhammad. Is a joke. Avoid these 🤡. Will call ford and complain. Sales man was a great guy actually.

My wife and I visited Golf Mill Ford on 11/25/20 looking at a 2020 Fusion Hybrid in Titanium trim, MRSP $36,385 – $10,552 in incentives = $25,833 (the internet price). I e-mailed a few days prior to our visit and specifically asked if the internet price was the price I could buy the car for and received 4 e-mails that didn’t address my question. I e-mailed back restating my question and I received a call from Jackie. Jackie said that I could absolutely purchase the car for the internet price and that the incentives on the car were the ones everyone would qualify for (primary incentives/rebates) and that the secondary incentives (Quarter horse member, medical, first responder, IL Farm Bureau, military, etc) would go on top. I set up a time to come in. Late that day I got an e-mail from Muhammad stating “YOUR TOTAL SAVINGS AND REBATES ARE $6982”. I called Jackie very concerned – she assured me it was a mistake but just to be sure she said she’d check with Muhhammad and call me back. A few minutes later she calls and tells me that yes, indeed, I can purchase the car for $10,552 off MSRP and add my IL Farm Bureau for $1000 and they’ll match or beat the previous offer I had on my trade. She says Muhammad meant to e-mail a different customer on a different car and that I should disregard the e-mail. I arrived on time to my appointment, met with Adrian. He let my wife and I test drive a Fusion Hybrid Titanium on our own due to COVID. During the test drive I noticed the car had 1133 miles on it…not new anymore in my book. I don’t know if he would have offered this if I hadn’t noticed but they could deduct $0.07 per mile (if the car had 200,000 miles this would only be $14,000 off – NOT a good deal). I knew they had another car in stock so we drove (together this time…I guess COVID went away between 5 and 6 pm) to the secondary lot and the battery was dead. We drove back to the dealer and he obtained a small jump starter. We drove back to the secondary lot. He didn’t know how the jump the car (hybrid) and ended up breaking off a tab from the bottom of the fuse box (I’m thinking this isn’t good because it’s cold and drizzling and I have an hour drive home). It didn’t start. We drove back to the dealer after he found another car he was convinced was a duplicate. He got keys and we drove back to the secondary lot for the third time. On the way he assured us that they’d beat the offer I had received from another Ford dealer for my trade by $500 because they’re the largest volume Ford dealer in the Midwest. We arrived at the secondary lot a third time and we pulled out the car and it wasn’t a hybrid. We drove back to the dealer a third time. We waited in our masks at the desk while he and a porter drove back to the secondary lot and retrieved the car we wanted. I’d been offered $13,500 for my trade at another Chicagoland Ford dealer. The salesman brought over the paperwork and I’m ready to sign and go home…except about $3500 of the rebates are missing AND HE ADDED THE DESTIONATION AND DELIVERY FEES INTO THE CAR A SECOND TIME!! (Destination and delivery was already included in the MSRP.) Oh and my trade – I was only being offered $6300 for it. These guys were supposed to be about $4000 cheaper than the other dealer we’d been at and the car was instead THOUSANDS MORE. Sales manager Muhammad came over. Despite Jackie’s and our salesman’s promise on the trade they couldn’t even match the previous offer, $11,000 at best. And despite the clearly listed internet price and 3 conversations I’d had with Jackie they wouldn’t honor the internet price either. After much discussion we were told the deal we’d had was better than they could do. My out the door price from the other dealer was $17,230.57 and Golf Mill Ford’s should have been $13,037.53. The best they could do was around $20,000. I’m so disappointed. Can’t believe Ford allows them to do this. As of today the car is still listed for $25,833 on the websites of both Golf Mill Ford and And Golf Mill still claims it only has 5 miles on it.

I got a very pathetic experience with ford store. They basically took my car that I gave for servicing and they hold it for four days without giving me a loaner car. I spoke to manager Kim and he said they cannot give me loaner car and if I need it, I need to pay enterprise for that. I mean what kind of service the dealer is providing. They basically pulling everything because I got all the warranty on my car. Please avoid this dealership. Ford. Please take care. 10th July afternoon update: I went to pick some stuff from my car and upon there, they took me to office of Manager name Dean. Dean had a this review print out and was pointing fingers towards it asking why did I wrote this. I think that was rude to me probably because I am not the race as he. He then argued and made a decision that he cannot service my car. And now they towing my car to another ford store and I am not sure what going on with my car. We called ford and finally they approved a loaner car for me. Since it was not officially written on my case, I couldn’t get a loaner car by end of the day. According to me, when you represent Ford – you need to be polite and generous to get customers towards the store. But not away from it.

I was looking for a new to me truck. At first, golf mill ford had a 2004 f350 that caught my eye. After test driving it, the deal fell through but this f150 caught my eye and test driving it I fell in love. The first night of owning it, I emailed my sales guy letting him know the headlights were not working and their was a weird sound coming from the engine. I had texted my sales guy the Saturday that they were supposed to take out the other half of the money for my down payment. I did everything that they asked me to and more. They ended up calling me to tell me my extended warranty fell through and that I had to come in to sign a new contract, stating my loan amount without the extended warranty. I came in for that. Over a week later I received a text stating my truck was ready for me. I drove all the way there to pick it up. The noise coming from the engine was gone. Right before I was going to leave, I asked the sales guy what was going on with the headlights and he stated since they’re aftermarket that they can’t fix them. But, they were not after market to me. I bought the truck that way from them like that and he was going to send me out on a rainy day and working night shift without headlights. He ended up talking to my mom on the phone and she ends up getting him to have them check it out. A couple days later I was told they were fixed. I go pick up my truck and that they were working. Later that day, I tried my fog lights and those weren’t working like they did before but my headlights were. I don’t recommend the shadiness from this place as I held up everything on my behalf. I was an honest buyer and they just put a bad taste in my mouth.

This is regarding a 1 star review I gave to the dealership couple weeks ago. I had some issues with one of my vehicles (Ford Focus 2013)and I was not happy regarding the customer service and lack of communication. I have to say that I have been getting great service from everybody in this dealership for the last couple years and I never I had a complaint that was not immediately addressed or corrected. For some reason the last service I got for my vehicle couple weeks ago was not the one that I was usually receiving, and I was surprised and concerned. I bought my 2015 Ford F150 from this establishment couple years ago ,and I still love this truck to this day, as well as how smooth and painless the process was. Darwin and Nick were great and easy to talk and help me to get a good deal. Anyways, regarding my vehicle issues, Steve (Quick Lane Manager) became aware of my concerns and he contacted me immediately. Steve addressed my issues and concerns expediently in a very professional manner. Steve was able to get me in and out of the Service Department during a very busy day by providing me the best service I could get for the money. I really appreciated that, and it goes to show you how they appreciate their customers and how they will not hesitate to reach out to provide the best service they can. I brought my vehicle there and someone mistakenly locked my keys in their tool box and I had to come back home without my vehicle. The dealer should inspect their trucks more thorough and not put a “sticker” on the window saying it’s been inspected, when within one week of buying the truck from them I found numerous repairs that I’ll have to make, that are going to cost big $.
