We took our 2017 jeep patriot into Landmark Ford for a spring check up & came home with a 2021 Ford Explorer XLT ! I could not resist the feel of driving just a beautiful & responsive vehicle! I love this ford & highly recommend them. Ford is far superior to jeep. ( it was tiny ) We feel like part of the family now this is our 2nd purchase within 2 years. The finance team was very polite & explained everything step by step. Thanks for all your help! Just purchased a 2021 Ford F150 Platinum, the process was handled perfectly from start to finish. Was all handled before truck arrived to dealer. They delivered truck 250 miles to our home at no charge, the day it arrived at dealer. If a higher rating was available, I would give it. Bob B.

Jeremy Lookis was very helpful with finding the vehicle that best suited our needs and with the best incentives. He remained in good communication and was able to accommodate our unique needs being that I often work out of state and much of our conversation had to be via email, text, and phone. Jeremy and his managers were able to quickly put together a deal that suited our needs and insured that papers were ready for me to make a quick trip in to sign without delay. I am still waiting on my rebate and have had some difficulty obtaining ford points through the app; otherwise, I would say it was a good experience

“Friendly, quick and efficient. The truck was taken in for front in shaking , or as people refer to it as the “”Death Wobble””. This is a highly dangerous condition that can cause loss of control and accidents. This was a factory recall; however, on checking further, this has been occurring in Ford trucks since approximately 1997. I would have thought the condition causing this would have been corrected by now. This was not caused by worn out parts….the truck has approximately 16,000 miles on it. As I said, the service was very good and I am pleased with the performance of the truck. But now there is a concern this wobble could happen again, which came very close to causing a crash. This is my fourth heavy duty pick-up truck… previous three trucks were of a different brand and I never experienced any kind of problem like this. Would I buy another Ford truck? Yes, but I would check to make sure this problem with front end shake has been permanently corrected.”

As a woman and first time car buyer, I was nervous and uneducated about the process. Jeremy and the Landmark Ford staff were awesome. I didn’t feel like they were being “pushy salesmen” or that I wasn’t getting a fair price or deal. Jeremy talked with me about my options and recommended what vehicle he thought would be best for m my life style (and it wasn’t the more expensive option). Fred in financing was awesome as well. They both did a great job at making the long process bearable. Jeremy went over some common and main features of my car before I left so I would be more comfortable with my new vehicle. Sales person was fully aware of our desires of options in a new Explorer and had a vehicle waiting for us to check out upon arrival. His total knowledge of the vehicle was outstanding and he took time to carefully explain and demonstrate all the new features in the vehicle. The paperwork experience was also exceptional. Instead of flashing a bunch of long forms and small print that can’t possibly be digested the large tabletop display with signature capabilities was a great help. The thumb drive copy of all documents is also a welcomed change to the transaction process. This was an overall pleasurable experience.

My sister was in the market for a “new to her” vehicle..a decision she was dreading for awhile..but she decided to make the she looked around a few local dealerships with no help or luck..but then a family member had recommended looking at Landmark Ford and asking for Jeremy Lookis since he had helped him last time in his car buying process. Jeremy was able to find the car she had in mind.. then work out the details for making the purchase..never pressured or pushed, and was extremely polite and considerate. “I bought a beautiful 2017 Lincoln MKz 2.0T, very low miles, runs and rides great. I was told that it had been hit from behind, and on drivers side and was told it was “”all fixed””. Well that was a lie, you can still see the spot on the back bumper where it was hit. As a result of the car being hit the back side panel doesn’t line up correctly with the trunk. You would think going into a dealership with a down payment for a newer low mileage Lincoln, you would think the dealership would make sure the car was perfect. I had to ask for it to be cleaned inside and out before I would buy it. I asked about the scratches on the back and I was told “”you are buying a used car, it won’t be perfect””. “”I could take you and sell you a new one if you would like but you would be paying alot more””. I am happy with my car, I just wish salesmen would do what needs to be done to make the customer happy and the deal right. Oh well I guess I won’t buy from them again, unless they make it right. .”

Initial interactions with Sales were good. However I succumbed to the high pressure sale and did not get the vehicle at it’s advertised discounted price. That is on me. After sale contact has been non-existent. No thank you from Sales Manager or Sales Associate I worked with, no check in on satisfaction. Guessing part of that is that they know I accepted a deal that I should have walked on. E-mail from Service Department post sale listed the car I traded in not the vehicle I bought, a little thing but indicative of the dealership’s focus on making a sale and not building a relationship.

Had Ford Edge in for a oil change and I continue to discover it makes no difference if you make an appointment or not. If they are busy with drive ins you still have to wait. So why make appointment? Week before I stopped by and they told me it would be 1.5 -2 hour wait! So much for QUICK LANE!! Not first time as I have had my truck serviced there also and same situation usually. Have had oil on my garage floor after oil changes in the past but this last time after leaving I noticed a roaring sound while accelerating but did not have time to return there at that time. Next day I discovered when they replaced air filter the technician did not secure the housing at all as it was just sitting there! I would suggest the service manager check their work! Seldom do they offer to wash your car like they use to do and when you ask I usually hear the wash is broke or they are not doing that today! 🙁

I take some responsibility for not looking at the underside of the truck and some other spots as well as I should have. There is significant amount of rust on the underneath of the truck and there is a part of the wall that is pushed out from the inside where you can see down to the ground. But I feel as though the dealership should have been more honest with me about these things that I am now trying to fix. I felt that my offer was fair and my intent was fair and I don’t believe that you should have left off these important points about the truck.

Needed a new mini van and found some I liked online. Went to the dealership and they were able to show me the vehicles I wanted to see right away. Jeremy Lookis even pulled one that was a brand new trade in so I could test drive it. Negotiations were reasonably smooth and I felt satisfied with the result. I needed my new van right away, so they are going to detail it form me later. Excellent experience. Would definitely shop there again next time I need a new vehicle.

“Took my Fiesta in to Landmark Ford in Springfield IL over 4 months ago for recall work after making an appointment. Once there, was informed they didn’t have the part to repair it. Due to my inconvenience I was given a loaner car and was told part would be in the next day. After driving the loaner for 3 days, part still wasn’t in. Also no communication from Landmark during these 3 days. I called every day being told “”let me check on that and I’ll get back to you “” but never a return call. I returned the loaner on the 4th day with the promise “”we’ll call you when the part comes in””. 4 months later I have yet to receive that phone call. This is typical of Landmark, once you purchase a vehicle (we have bought 5 from them) then they are finished, especially if you have problems, which I did with the 2 Fiestas I bought from them. Very poor and unprofessional customers service and uneducated staff. Would bot recommend Landmark to anyone! !!!”

Poorly mannered finance department employee named Fred. He would not give me his full attention, I was the only one going on the loan for this car, no cosigner, yet he continued to be focused on my husband who was with me. The person who did the legwork which led me to purchase, who should be given a good review is Sean Brown, the salesman. Sadly, this review is unfavorable due to their finance department and my complaints to management with Jason Young. Your worth to them as a buyer is very well known after purchase. Nothing.

Dropped off my vehicle and staff was polite. Air conditioner is now worse than before. This is a warranty issue and now I have to make multiple trips to get it corrected. The issue with my vehicle was apparent before I made it home. The service dept. did not thoroughly test and subsequently misdiagnosed. Not only did I have to pay for the incorrect repair, but will also miss out on income from this inconvenience.

The salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable, the car the picked out was great so it should have been a great experience. The problem was with what they offered me on my trade in, the offer was very low and they explained to me that my Prius didn’t have much value because of the current low price of gas. Less than a week later I saw on their website that they were listing my trade in for sale at $10,000 more than they gave me. As I said I like the salesman, I like the car, but I won’t shop with them again because they ripped me off so badly on the trade in and yes I could have said no so that’s my mistake. All I can say is that if you are trading in a vehicle I would not take it to Landmark.

We had such a good experience at Landmark Ford. I went in a bit discouraged and unsure of what we could afford. Damon was so nice and guided us through the process and kept us up to date as we waited. We financed the car at the dealership which was an easy process too. They were determined to get us a vehicle and we left with the perfect van for our family that day. We also left with the vehicle registered and didn’t have to go to the DMV for new plates. Overall, I would definitely recommend to anyone regardless of income and credit score as they work hard to find you something with you in mind.

I sat for 4 hours first day. For them to tell me they have to order parts. So I rescheduled. Know today I sat for 4 hours to get my ac and they are trying to charge me for a tune up I never requsted. Ever since this place went under new management it has been the worst service I ever had. I bought my first care from here in 2008 and been coming here since. I have always had good service till the past few months. I am done with this place.

I called Wednesday July 1st and asked if I could bring my car in for oil change/tire rotate on Friday the 3rd. I was told that they were closed that day but that Monday the 6th would be good because they did not have anyone down for the 7:00 appointments yet. I made my appointment for 7:00. I showed up at 6:45 AM and in front of me were 3 vehicles. When the worker came to take my information I asked where in line I would actually be since I had made an appointment. He informed me that since I did that I would be first in the bay even though there were others in front of me. That was not the case. Not only did I have to wait behind the other 3 vehicles, the 2nd technician did not show up for work on time (this has happened the last 3 times I have been to get service on my car). Consequently, they did not start working on my car until 8:00 and I did not get done until after 8:30, which made me late for work. I offered at the beginning to come back at a different time that would be quicker and was told that I would be there a maximum of 45 minutes. I am really disappointed in the customer service that I have received the last several times I have been there.

took vehicle in for check of panel hanging from the bottom of my truck, asked if it was covered and was told no because when doing an oil change this panel needs to be removed. But as i was there another truck was there with the same problem. I feel it should be covered, anyway the service man said he could have one of the guys remove it and order another one. So i said since it was going on the lift to go ahead and change the oil. the service man was polite and got my oil change done as i waited.

I came in last week to find a used suv with less than 30k miles on it for under $20k. Jeremy Lookis didn’t give me the run around at all. He had me do a couple test drives and I settled on a 2018 Ford Escape. It’s exactly what I need as a soon-to-be college grad planning on working in remote locations. The sales and finance process went smoothly and I didn’t feel talked down to as a woman at all which is a huge bonus! Derek French also made sure I knew what I was signing and that I’m comfortable with my choices. Super positive experience buying my first car. My only concern is that some of the sales staff were not following the social distancing protocol. One of the staff knew my dad who was there with me, and mocked my father’s attempt to elbow bump to protect himself. He went out of his way to greet my father with a hug. Very concerning as I was already very nervous to be in a public space during this time. Just a small note about cultural awareness that can go a long way.

I bought a truck from there and less then 2 months old my check eng. light came one. I call my sale person Sam and he told me I can’t do nothing cause it’s to over 100,000 miles. Went to auto zone to see why the check eng. light was on and it’s got a nice list, misfiring in a 6 cylinder and o2 sensor needs change and some kind of plunger. Never doing my business with them again.

Had the best experience here this morning! I called before 8am with low tire pressure. Was told to bring it right in. Got to the dealership & it was shown to me that my tire wasn’t repairable. They located a replacement tire that matches my tires that was very expensive & also offered me an option of a tire that had same rating at a lower price. We have a good experience anytime we stop by Landmark Ford. However, the customer service from Jeremy Lookis is on another level. He has always gone above and beyond for us. You can tell he cares about what his customers actually want. It’s not solely about the sell for him. We just bought a new 2019 Ford Edge and the whole experience was great. He’s already checked on us to see how everything is going with the new purchase. I believe we’ve bought a total of 6 cars from him these last several years. We just finished purchasing our third car from Landmark auto obviously we think they are great. The entire staff is super cordial. After the sale service is spot on. When you’re a customer visiting Landmark you feel special. This purchase was no exception. Sam Craig was our salesman. From the get go Sam let us know he was here to make sure we had a good car buying experience not just by saying so but by doing it. Sam went above and beyond to make sure all our questions were answered, every car we were interested in was available, and never made it feel like we were not the most important people there. Sam is a super friendly, very cordial salesman; never did we feel like we were being pressured to buy a car. He was honestly very excited about the products he had to offer and constantly pointed out the cool features he found most appealing in each of the cars we looked at. Once we decided the car we were interested in he went out of his way to make sure our best interests were being cared for. We are well aware that it is the sales manager that makes the final call on the deal and whether or not it can happen. At no point did we feel like Sam was not there to represent us in the negotiations. We ended up with a great deal on a great SUV that is the perfect fit for our needs and wants and cannot thanks Sam enough for being the salesman that helped us make that happen. The next time we are in the market for a new vehicle we are going to Landmark and asking for Sam. It will probably be a while because the Edge ST is a car that will last for years. Until then, if anyone else is in the market for a new car we highly recommend Landmark. Make sure you ask for Sam.

Terrible service, and the quick lane is a joke. Mechanic will bring you a filter that says needs replaced, not even the filter from my vehicle. Since I went to autozone and got the filter went home to put it in and my filter was not the one they showed me. They are ripping people off on a daily basis!! Never again!! Very disappointed as this is the second vehicle we’ve bought from them and have had services done there for years. When I called to complain they said they wanted to turn it around on me the customer!! Liars, everyone of them.

The key fob panic buttons is very “”jumpy”” and goes off on it’s own all the time, especially after I lock my doors and start to walk away. We had a remote start added and that doesn’t always work unless you are right next to the vehicle; sort of defeats the purpose when you want your car warm before you get to it.”

Was pretty dissatisfied over all the only reason why I gave it a 4 is beacuase if our salesman Nate hes the only reason why the sale happened he worked hard to make us happy. All the vehicles we looked at were discusting they need to do a better job detailing the cars and all but the one we bought had issues. Issues a $18000 vehicle should not have. When we got the van home and seen it in the day the van has a headlight that’s full of moisture and corrosion on the hood that we did not see

I have been buying Fords for many years from Landmark and I must say that Brian Forrester’s customer service style is exemplary. His entire focus was to make sure the customer walked away satisfied. He also gave me some helpful maintenance tips for the future. I greatly appreciated that because I could tell in talking with him that he was not trying to “pitch” me anything but rather giving me an idea as to what to look for in the coming months that my Escape may need. I talked to Tim. I text Tim at 11 am telling him what 3 cars I wanted to look at. He said no problem. I then proceeded to drive 1.5 hours from Peoria to look at these cars. When I got there, Tim seemed to not know where they were. He told me that he would get them for me to drive while I went to lunch. While I was at lunch, Tim texted me and told me that 2 of the 3 cars I wanted to look at were sold the day before and the 3rd car was in Taylorville. I asked him if he had anything else comparable. Tim NEVER responded to me after that. What a horrible experience. I just drove home at that point and actually got a really good deal at another dealer. This place is a joke.
