I purchased a new Ford Edge from Beckman earlier in the year. It was a pleasant experience. Brian was great. I have returned twice for routine oil changes. Recently, I had some warranty work. Their service is top notch. Clean service bays, clean waiting rooms, timely service. Service personnel listen to what you have to say. Service management is terrific. Highly recommend Beckman (sales and service).

Service department has gone down hill. Said they couldn’t get us a $65 part. Was going to cost us $1000 for them to do the job and replace more parts than was needed. We ordered the $65 part online and had our local, small shop repairman do it.

Very unprofessional. Had an appointment to come look at a vehicle and when we got there it wasn’t even on the lot. We waited for over an hour and the vehicle still hadn’t came back. Then the salesman tried to sell us a different vehicle.

I just made my second new car purchase from Beckman motors. I am not one that ever leaves reviews unless I feel I received service that is over and above what is warranted. In both cases with Beckman, the service was just that. Let’s start with the staff.
From the second you walk in, you are greeted by anyone and everyone in sight, but not in the normal car-dealer vulture kind of way. More of a small town, legitimate, how-ya-doin kind of way.
It’s not at too many new car dealers, that at any given time you walk in there, your salesperson is the owner, or owner’s son, but it is the norm here. On top of that, they will provide you their personal contact info and are open to help at about anytime they can. Personally, I worked with the owner’s son, Justin. He was courteous and helpful all the way through the process, and even gave me his cell phone number if I had questions. I did have questions… lots of them. Enough questions to be annoying, I imagine. He answered every single one of them, and was polite all the way through.
The vehicle I wanted was not in their inventory, so he hunted one down from an out of town dealership, which isn’t always easy. In the end, he found the vehicle I wanted, cheaper than I anticipated.
I typically hate walking up to a car dealership as it normally feels like as soon as you get out of your car, you are hounded by vultures trying to sell you something. Granted, they are just doing their job, but doesn’t make it any more pleasant. In the end, I never felt that way at Beckman Motors. It had more of a family atmosphere, than a high pressure dealership As long as they are in business, they will be the only place I go to shop for vehicles, and I can’t recommend them enough.

This was my first car purchased from a dealer. Needless to say I was a bit nervous about the entire process. After talking with Raymond and getting financing approved I found my perfect car. I work thirty minutes away from Beckman Motors (for another dealership) and was not able to finalize my paperwork until after 5 pm. Raymond, Justin and Kent all stayed late and walked me through everything. By six o’clock I was out the door with my beautiful Chevy Equinox. The perfect car that fits nicely in my budget and very practical for this hard working, busy 21 year old girl.

Fantastic to deal with. I drove 1.5 hours up there to buy a new colorado. I worked out a price thru email and they stuck to it. Gave me more for my trade than my local dealer and agreed on a lower sale price than my local dealer. In and out in about 2.5 hours. Would recommend and would probably buy my next vehicle from them.

When we decided to trade our 2001 Buick for a newer used car, my husband and I didn’t seriously consider going to any other dealership than Beckman Motors in Garnett, KS. The people we’ve dealt with today, and in the past, are nothing but helpful and friendly; there’s never any pressure to buy; they don’t try to talk us into something different than what we (think we) want; and they make every effort to find the right vehicle at a price we were willing to pay. I was even introduced to the gentleman (who just happened to be at the dealership at the same time) who originally owned the vehicle we ended up buying. Justin Beckman and Kent Fisher made us feel like valuable customers even though we weren’t in the market for a new (and higher priced) vehicle.
