Awesome! You may think waiting for your mom to buy a car is annoying but no! There is coffee, beverages, snacks,candy water and really comfy chairs. If you are waiting, bring a book or phone or tablet. Pleasant experience.

I went to look at a truck at this dealership and I could not have been treated with more disrespect. The young salesman knew nothing about the truck and he saw that I was also younger and didn’t go over anything with me about it. Threw me the keys and even made me put the plate on to drive it. Then I go inside to discuss and he had the owner come out to tell me how down payments work. I had recently found 2 other trucks the same price and features DePaula was willing to get me into the price I was looking for. But denooyer made it seem like the payments I wanted were out of this world and to have someone try to explain down payments like I’m a child? This place and the people here are a joke. Definition of a classic dealership. SHOP ELSEWHERE you will find better prices and people who will help you.

When I had pulled in I was just initially browsing looking at used vehicles to start, then within a couple minutes Damien had walked over asking if ive been helped yet or not. After some chit chat an number crunching it was decided I wasn’t going to get the truck I came looking for but was able to drive away in a new equinox. He had stayed later to help me an went out of his way to do so. I would definitely recommend him to anyone trying to get a newer vehicle.

False advertise their equipment to lure someone in!! How convenient that on a new truck clearly with 25 photos included with a work body on it. All the specs of the work body for an advertised “Internet Sale”. The truck is not even available to purchase without the body on it. After being bounced around to 4 different people collecting information come to find out the work body is additional. $10k additional. That a minor thing to conveniently leave out. After talking to the person that finally broke the news in small talk I found out this is “Normal” to them. They wasted enough of my time they earned a review

By no means was this place “perfect” no place is and let’s be honest, we are all humans and we all make mistakes. For me, I gave this place 5 stars because they took accountability. Bob and the technician didn’t give me the run-around, they were transparent and honest which in my opinion is more respectable and worth more than any car they sell or buy. I can’t speak for the business part, but I would recommend their service department to my grandmother.

Salesperson Dan Tran was great. Dan is very honest and not high pressure. Dealership is clean and very accommodating. Joe Annello the person who checked us out with the car is hi energy and wants to answer all questions. Service did a great job installing the performance mufflers.
What a great experience we had with Damien DeDonatis. Here is a guy who loves what he does and loves people. Getting a great car was the end, but the means to get there was so much more enjoyable working with a good hearted fair down to earth person. This man is successful not because he sells cars but because he actually enjoys helping people. I would recommend him over and over again. Thank you Damien.

I paid off a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT after 5 year loan. Car gets to 80,000 miles. Car’s engine is no longer “good.” According to a mechanic at Denooyer, (paid diagnostic). Go to trade in car they offer me a $1000 trade in credit for my Pontiac 2008 G8 GT sitting on brand four new 245 45 r18. Towards a soda-can-of-a-car 2017 Chevy Cruze RS. Which was soon to be totaled, by a female illegally driving in the median on 9W. Have in mind: I literally just put $1000.00 tires on the G8 GT that week, from the Firestone in Latham. I do not recommend DeNooyer Chevrolet…They have also been accused by CarMax for rolling back the speedometer in Detroit! What happened to the Pontiac brand is atrocious and General Motors should be held accountable. Along with every single salesman who knew about rolling back electronic speedometers.

Frank was my salesperson and he was awesome. Gave me choices and options. I was looking at a used vehicle then decided on new as I was tired of other peoples issue vehicles. It was a process but we got things worked out. Krysten was a huge help. There were scratches that I pointed out when I test drove the car that were still there when I returned to sign paperwork and pick it up. She brought back to the shop where they buffed it out. Unfortunately someone made a deep scratch in the sill of the drivers entrance which I was upset about but didn’t seem to bother anyone else. Besides that I am extremely satisfied and will get all my service with DeNooyer and friends and family will be directed to your dealership.

Car broke down on the Northway and needed warranty repair. The shop was recommended by another mechanic and tow operator as being best Chevy shop in the area. Work was done in timely manner and they kept me posted on status. If they were not so far away (over 150 miles) I would bring my car to them again for service.

I give 5 stars for the sales service by Andrew Lobb, he was absolutely fantastic and was able to help me find pretty much the exact vehicle I was looking for. Andrew was easy to talk to and explained things simply. Andrew has also been extremely helpful after our sale, being available and answering my questions as I have them. I only give 4 stars as the trade in offer on my husband’s car was very low and we were able to privately sell his car for over double what was offered.

“They completely took advantage of my 21 year old daughter. They talked fast and used so much jargon they convinced her that she would be unsafe without this necessary repair. So she agreed to it and paid $451.31. She was so upset and I called to investigate. The “”necessary repair”” was the plastic container that holds windshield wiper fluid!!!!. A part that cost 63.24. >>This was not even why she took the car on for a diagnostic! For those repairs she was given a 1700 estimate. Just out to get any money .thecan believe that just”

He kept me advised of my vehicle status and was responsive to my requests. The wait was appropriate. The waiting room was pleasant and socially distanced. I dropped my truck off for a transmission flush and fluid changed to a different recommended type of fluid. Got a call from a service rep asking why was I having it done with only 17K miles. I explained the shifting issue and what GM suggested to fix it. No argument, they looked into it and did the work and covered it under the warranty. Extremely happy with their work and the truck no longer has a shifting issue.

Frank(salesman) and Michelle(Insurance Agent) did a fantastic job of meeting our vehicle needs! After shopping around other dealerships, we were able to find the best deal on the vehicle that we wanted! The only criticism I would give is I had hoped the delivery process had taken less time. I felt they knew we were coming and were not prepared. It would have been nice to work with the same salesman from start to finish, we were tossed around to a lot of people. A hurry up and wait situation. Also, our vehicle could have detailed a bit better. Dirt and dust was still visible in the vehicle upon delivery.

In Oct we bought an SUV from this dealership.. they sold us an insurance policy for our lease.. after 10 weeks I had to change lease vehicles because the seats hurt my back and hip. We have still not received our money back from DeNooyer. I have turned papers over to the State Atty General . Do not trust this dealership. The entire experience was unpleasant and now they have not returned our money.. Not to be trusted. Tell your friends !

First of all. It’s extremely clean. Set up nicely for our trying times. All the employees were wearing face masks appropriately and were social distancing as best as possible. It was the customers I saw that weren’t. The service was excellent. Jonathan explained my issues on my vehicle and provided a detailed quote for the repairs.
We had a great experience here. Everyone was very friendly, and Dave Kemper helped us very much. We were also happy to get a great deal on our vehicle. Next time we are in the market, we will definitely be back.

I inquired about a vehicle online with a question about price, and test drive. The salesman replied to my inquiry with one sentence, no greeting, and all it said it the price is the price. In this day an age that is not how you successfully sell a car. I’m not sure if they thought we weren’t serious, or just don’t care, but Michael made no invitation to us to see the dealership or other vehicles or even try to tell us about the vehicle we were interested in. We didn’t make a hard offer, and we were 100 percent interested in visiting this dealership. After an unsuccessful exchange with the manager, we decided to go to another dealership where they helped us find exactly what we wanted, and were extremely professional. After speaking with other friends about their experience with Denooyer I can confidently advise against their services at all costs.

My recent visits were trying to diagnose an intermittent electrical problem. I complement service advisor Dwane for his doing so much to see I was taken care of well. He accurately wrote all the details of the problems I described so they could be properly checked. At other shops, I’ve looked at the repair order and there was only a brief summary of the symptoms and sometimes that caused the repair not to be made. You can’t expect someone to fix something if they don’t know what’s broken. When it looked like my vehicle was not going to be ready, Dwane arranged for a loaner car as I had no ride home and had been there for a long time while it seemed that the installed part didn’t fix the problem. He even personally checked if the electrical problem was fixed by driving my truck. I also appreciated that he kept me informed about what was being done to my truck, returned my calls and texts and was cordial to me and the other customers I saw him speak with. I had contact with several DeNooyer employees, including the technician (sorry I don’t know his name) who all exhibited an interest that my vehicle was properly repaired.

Went to go install and program my tcm and they said that they couldn’t communicate with the new tcm which I bought before I went to them brand new from autozone and I still had to pay 300 dollars for them to basically do nothing the part took 2 second to put on and take off when they gave me my car the new tcm was still in it and I had to take it out and put the old one in cause it wasn’t working correctly never again will I go to this place

Made an appointment to get a converter replaced as it was under warranty and my engine light was on. Appointment was for 9 am Friday. Never got a call until Friday afternoon to say my car won’t be ready until Monday. Monday came no call, left several messages. Called again Tuesday, left another message and finally got a call back saying my car might be ready by end of day. Finally got a call Tuesday at 3:00. Went to pick up my car and drove down the street a mile to have my car breakdown and need to get a tow back. The next day I get a text, no phone call to say my car was all set to be picked up without any explanation as to what happened.

Car shopping and maintenance can be stressful experiences. When I went to DeNooyer, the shopping and service experience were both very different. The shopping experience was wonderful. Instead of it feeling like the salesman was giving me a hard push to commit to buy, it felt like he was working for me to find me the best deal. I just went back for my first service appointment and the service department is just as good. They are professional, prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. After I purchased there we went back and purchased a car for my mother-in-law and we have also referred others to go there. They get a second star because the young man I worked with was super nice and responsive, if underinformed. I drove 3 hours to check out a specific pre-owned car there. It had been on the lot about a month. They knew a week out that I was interested in it and planning to make the drive. And yet nobody cleaned the interior and nobody test drove it ahead of time because the clanking sound over 25 mph was uncool and unmistakable. They said it did go through an inspection process, and they could fix the noise right away, but the clanking sound made me wonder what else got missed in their inspection. No deal, and thanks (?) for making me drive all that way.

They are a little slow in the service department checking in and getting set up for a loaner. Upon returning to pick up our vehicle it was faster although I had to pull in the garage and point out grease stains on the inside of the car. Being its a 2018 and only 13 thousand miles, I did not put them there. The techs should be a little more careful of what they are doing. All in all not a good visit this time. I truly hope it improves.

“July 20, 2020 SALES VISIT – NEW “”Buyer Beware of online prices”” – rdrisc I attempted to buy a 2020 Chevy Equinox. I saw Equinoxes listed on their website at a very low price. I was ready to buy one. I contacted the dealership via email and phone. I confirmed the price with two members of the sales department and the online chat box. Rebecca confirmed that two of the vehicles were still available at that price, though she mentioned that they were demo units with a few thousand miles on them (not mentioned in the online listing). I told her I was ready to buy the Equinox at the posted price. She then asked me about whether I needed financing. When I said no to the financing, she suddenly announced that the price was an error and the “”actual”” price was another $4,000. In my opinion, this looks to me like an old scam to get someone interested with a low ball price and then, when the person is ready to make the purchase, try to force them into financing or raise the price. I emailed the dealership to discuss this situation and they never returned my email. The two Equinoxes remained online with the low ball price for days after my experience. Make sure you get a confirmed price in writing from this dealer before you discuss anything with the salespeople. I saved and printed out the online listing, but they wouldn’t honor it. Additionally, they asked me to call them back regarding my negative review and it was a complete waste of time. Just a lot of excuses.”

They undervalue your trade in and overprice their cars. They also don’t like to tell you if your bank is a preferred dealer so they can get the highest interest rate from you. Don’t trust them if they call and make an extra cash value offer on your car. It’s a scam to get you back in the door. They won’t honor the over the phone offer.

Your service rep was quite proficient. My truck was in the shop within a few minutes of my reservation time. The NYS inspection and oil change took about an hour, which is good. I have to come back for a re-inspection which is irritating, but shows that your shop is tight when it comes to inspections. I did notice my new oil level is at least a quart too high. Pandemic protocols were good. I was surprised to see how lean your used vehicle stock was.

All these dealers are fighting, as well as the buyer no discounts , nothing its bad on both ends so when you have 60,000.00 to 70,000.00 in cash and can not make a deal cars on the lot sold with the sticker on it still MSRP FOR days and some that don’t work sunroof my wife is into new truck for sale. It didn’t shut correctly. My sincere to all buyers on new trucks,suv,and cars hold off or you are going to get screwed. So clean yes. Thatz that.

Due to the pandemic and my wife remote teaching, I brought her car in for her around 9am or so (I was told on the phone they wouldn’t look at the car until at least 10:30am due to other appointments). I stayed and worked virtually from the waiting room and texted my wife for updates since it was in her name. Around 12:00pm, my wife had no update, so I asked at the desk. The gentleman said they are still assessing and it would take about 2 hours. I texted my wife around 2:30pm, she had not heard anything and we both had meetings at 3:00pm. So I asked again at the front desk for an update. The same gentleman proceeds to tell me he just got back from lunch and if I wanted to take the car I could go! At the time, I was polite and just making an inquiry. I was in no way rushing him or annoyed, at least until AFTER that statement. We argued loudly and I told him I was just asking for an update so I can schedule my time. He was extremely unprofessional in my opinion. I got the update and left before I lost my temper. He met me in the waiting room later and was much nicer, however he never apologized for his disrespectful behavior. He had just got back from lunch so I’m not sure what he was stressed about, but taking it out on me was the wrong move. Imagine paying over $300 to be treated like this…

I had my car towed to the dealer on 12/21 because intermittently the traction control light would come on along with the service stabilitrak and traction control warnings and the check engine light, which previously had been on solid, began blinking. My car was there for about a day and a half, (I was told I could not get a loaner due to Covid19 restrictions) and the afternoon of 12/22 I was told my car was now fixed. (Approx $400 later). On my way home from work the evening of 12/22 my car began shaking, having problem accelerating and the same lights all came back on again. I called the next morning and was told there were no appointments available til Tuesday. I was offered no apologies or help for the inconvenience. In the mean time I have no car for the holidays or for work and will likely have to get it towed in again.

I had to go to Hoffman’s Car Wash in Latham to get it cleaned and make it shine. They vacuumed it and cleaned the windows inside and out. This is what other dealers did as part of the “dealer-prep”!

I had an accident and my driver side fender and mirror were crushed, with my RED 2011 F350 SUPER DUTY. I brought it into DeNooyer Body Shop. I was very concerned about the paint matching being that the truck is red and 7 years old. When I picked my truck up it look like a brand new truck. This morning on the way to my work I had noticed a small rattling coming from the shifter column that seemed like something was possibly vibrating loose as I was getting a progressively chattering sound over the past few weeks, but wasn’t quite sure. “I saw a posting online, I called, gave the stock number to check to see if it was still available and told them that I wanted to begin the process of purchasing the vehicle since I live 2 hours away. They took my number and passed it to a salesperson. I called back about 20 minutes later to give my cell phone number and to let them know that I was heading up to look at the vehicle and to do whatever paperwork was needed to purchase it. I said it would take me 2 hours and if the salesperson wanted to call to contact me on the cell. The salesperson left a message on my house phone basically saying that he got a message I was interested in the car (stated the specific car) and said I could call him back or stop in. I drove 2 hours and when I arrived, I was greeted and given to yet another salesperson who informed me that the price on the internet was incorrect and it was actually 5K more than what it was advertised for. Not once with the three people that I had contact with was I informed of this mistake BEFORE I made the 2 hour trek. I spoke with the manager who verified that that price was listed for “”many days”” onlline (it was about a week) and it was “”changed”” just that morning, but the change wouldn’t take effect for 24 hours. I don’t believe in coincidences. This was to bring people through he door and upsell them. The problem was that I was all set to buy THAT car. IT’s a scam and they are underhanded and shady. Any other retail establishment would have to honor an advertised price, but apparently they believe they are above that. Customer service is not their concern. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I drove down the road to DePaula and had the best experience. Purchased a better car with less miles for the same price and their customer service was amazing was able to drive home with it the same day even!. SHOP DEPAULA, NOT DENOOYER!”

Purchased a nice 2015 Siverado in 2018. 1st off they under valued my trade in , 2nd the truck i purchased was overpriced, 3rd the warranty sales man screwed me by selling me a 5 year warranty good for when the vehicle left the factory …so basically I paid for 3 years on my warranty during a time that I didn’t even own the truck. Be very careful. They are scam artist.

“””Undisclosed Vehicle Damage”” I purchased a 75k vehicle that had undisclosed damage / paintwork. The vehicle was inspected in bright sun light so the damage was not seen during my inspection. I noticed the discrepancy 2 hours after taking delivery and contacted the dealer at that time. (Sun was going down). Beau Mayhew the sales manger told me once you sign the paperwork the cars is yours when I told him I wanted to return the vehicle. He also never got back to me, I sent multiple E-Mails that have gone unanswered for almost 2 months. I now have a 75k TrackHawk that has different color rear doors on both sides. Amazingly 15 minutes after posting my review the dealer reached out to me offering to switch vehicles with another similar TrackHawk they had in stock. When I asked for the details thinking they where trying to “”right a wrong”” They offered me to trade my vehicle in for $5k **less** than I paid and purchase the one they had in stock for the cost of 10k additional.”

“After frustrating sales and / or service experiences in Buffalo, I brought my leased vehicle to DeNooyer Chevrolet in July for an oil change. The service experience was first rate and I am disappointed to see that the service rep isn’t listed on the website any longer and apparently has moved on. It’s unfortunate because I found him professional, polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. The work was performed in an acceptable timeframe, no attempts were made to upsell any unnecessary work (like “”you need fresh air in your tires”” type thing), and the fluids were topped off. Additionally, the service writer had highlighted a discount that I was already aware of, so I didn’t even need to request it. With this level of honestly and transparency, I’d consider buying / leasing a car here if it were near me. The only reason I deducted one star was because there was no requirement of masks for customers during the current health crisis, and several people were flaunting the rules.”

Was a little difficult explaining what I wanted done over the phone, but once I arrived I explained it in person and they did exactly what I asked. Then they charged me less than originally quoted. 2nd good experience at Denooyer for service.
The only reason why I didn’t give them a 1 star is that the buying experience was easy. The service department horrible. I have my truck now in their service department 3-4 times with the same issue. The driver side window works intermittent and every time get in the truck it was says open and close driver side window. Not a big deal unless it’s the middle of summer or winter.
