When arriving and pulling your car into the garage you speak with a specialist about your vehicles needs. Oil change, tire rotation and complimentary car wash was fast and i was out of there quickly. Eric Roseman is a terrific representative for Hempstead Ford. In a time of Covid we were able to coordinate the new car lease via email and phone. We went in only to do the signing and pick up the car. Hempstead Ford has an effective process to keep you safe and isolated. This is my sixth Ford from Rick and my wife is on her fifth. An efficient pleasant experience in a comfortable setting. Check out the Ford Mustang Mach E all electric while you are there.

3/20/21 Daniel Locicero is the best sales person at Hempstead Lincoln, here’s why. I made two trips to this dealership.The first time was to check out a car that I was interested in purchasing. I met Daniel and he gave me details about the vehicle and I took it for a test drive. Even though I loved the car I wasn’t ready to ink the deal. I told Dan that and he NEVER pressured me to go any further. I’m fact, he told me to go home and think about it and then let him know. Dan did not call me like previous sale agents did. Instead I called him when I was ready to go through with the purchase. Dan went through the contract made sure I was satisfied. He them took me to the car and explained all features. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. He even called me two days after to enquire about how I was enjoying my new vehicle. This is what luxury is about: efficient, informed, respectful and thorough all wrapped up on one person, Daniel Locicero.

I brought our car in for replacement of a tire because of a pot hole. I was never called with updates and the service agent never returned calls. Picked up the car the next day and on my way home the tire pressure system alerted us that this supposed new tire was low on air. Had to stop and reinflate it. Called the agent at 8 a.m. the next morning and over two hours later still hadn’t returned my call. I have the wheel and tire coverage but they still tried to charge me for the tire. The service agents are far from friendly and cooperative. I will never get another car from this dealership.

This is my first service with the Nautilus and Hempstead Ford came to pick up the car which I was late because I had to work late but when I got home the guy was there waiting for me the exchange keys I signed a piece of paper and he was gone I received a phone call later in the day that my car was done they brought her back she looked brand new again we switch keys and he was on his way. Visited Service for my 2017 Ford Explorer 53,000 miles for hood corrosion under paint (bubbling). Though it was out of initial warranty I reviewed my factory warranty and asked Karen in Service to submit to corporate under warranty. I was completely satisfied with the results that it was going to be covered under warranty. Karen was very helpful and willing to help solve my issue. I am thankful to her and Corporate for making things right with my relatively new Explorer. I have used Hempstead Ford for new purchases and service and will continue to use them.

Ruined the whole experience of leasing from this dealership, and I will not be back. Let me not forget to mention some benefits offered at signing were no longer available after 1st year of lease. Dealership’s Answer- “ I apologize but there’s new management and they chose to change it”. Good answer but It will cost you on my next lease not from you!

“This is now my 5th time ( in 2 years) working with the service department at Hempstead Ford/Lincoln for the exact same issue.. As friendly and “”helpful”” as they are, they have no desire to actually help fix this ongoing issue. The moon roof drain “”clogs”” frequently (every 3-4 months) causing water to flood into the car… Services expert advice is to stop parking near trees…and to just come in if it happens again. As much as I love my explorer, and wish i did not have to post negatively about a company during this crazy time…. I am appalled that a quick fix is there only solution and no one wants to address the real issue”

I am a CPA with my own program for calculating lease payments… it’s easy for car dealers to quote a low monthly payment and make a killing on a lease if you don’t know what goes into the payments. I did all my research online first… finding out the residual value and money factor/interest rate, along with the price that a typical buyer would expect to pay for the car. My wife and I then went to Hempstead Lincoln with my laptop in hand looking for a good deal on a Navigator. We met with Suzanne and I broke out the laptop. She confirmed the residual and money factor that I was using, then proceeded to give me a price for the vehicle that was better than I expected… No negotiation necessary! A first for me, and I’ve leased well over a dozen cars over the years. On top of that, Suzanne explained the services that you get by leasing a vehicle from Hempstead Lincoln… concierge pickup and drop off of your vehicle when it needs servicing, free car washes, free detailing every 6 months (and probably some others that I’m forgetting). Overall, it was the best experience I’ve ever had leasing a vehicle.

I wanted a 2017 MKC Reserve with reasonably low mileage, I found my dream car at two other Lincoln dealerships, but both wanted to charge additional finance fee of 1000 over listed price. I was paying cash. Luckily I found Hempstead Lincoln and JC in the preowned division. Right from the start JC was up front about pricing and the car I wanted. Unfortunately the car I wanted had a hold by another client. JC promised to keep looking for me. Two days later JC called to say the other client did not take the car. 3 days later I drove off in the car I wanted. JC is the best

This was absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a car. The staff was professional, prompt, courteous. I have never met a sales rep who is knowledgeable about EVERY feature of all makes of their brand. I was starting to think that he owned one himself. Evan reached out to me throughout the process. He was proactive in that when the finance person asked for documentation, Evan had pre-collected and submitted it. If anyone asks me about purchasing, I’m sending them there. And ask for Evan Bouchard. Trust me. You won’t be disappointed.

Great sales man JC Crescenzo, second vehicle I bought from him. But because of the Covit still on, JC could not sit in the truck with me. Still learning all the details, basically I have to learn all myself. Other than that I totally understand, I just love the F150 Lariat. Hempstead Ford is a beautiful place. I already have had dealings with the shop with first car. Absolutely no complaints at all. I’m very pleased with everyone and everything at Hempstead Ford.
Just leased a 2020 Escape. Whimps is the BEST sales guy. He’s nice but most importantly he remembers your name. He actually cares about you as a person & not a dollar sign. My sister leased through him too. When her lease was ending, October 2019, he called her & told her that he had her new lease ready for her. Needless to say, she rolled right into it. If you are looking to buy or lease, Whimps is your guy!! Love him!!

I have had 2 interaction with the service department, and was disappointed both times. First time they had very little knowledge of the parts involved in a repair to the extend of calling me back 2 weeks after the work was done to tell me the part they said was not available, WAS. Second time when gathering information for a repair, they contradicted the Lincoln owners manual and also Lincoln’s customers service. Having been to many Lincoln dealerships up and down the east coast this is the worst dealership I have ever been to. To me it seems being a Lincoln dealer is an afterthought for them.

Disgusting experience and atrocious customer service. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change and had a scheduled appointment. Upon receiving my vehicle and shortly after leaving the site I found a long scratch across the grill as a result of the mechanic attempting to open the hood. I called the service dept immediately and left messages and no one answered nor returned my call. I called Mr Drew and Maria the service manager. I had to return to the site with my vehicle and was told I had to return for a scheduled appt to fix the scratch. I bought my vehicle from this dealership and will not purchase a vehicle in the future due to their poorly operated service department

Tower Ford was in my neighborhood but they were out of business recently. They did refer us to this dealership. I’m happy that I made the right decision coming here. Their facility is impeccable and capable of handling big jobs. Staff are friendly. The best thing is that when I got off the car, I was greeted by Adrian, the best service advisor I had at Tower Ford. What a relief! They took good care of my Explorer. Two repairs, one big one small. Adrian was very honest. The big repair cost more but not covered. Adrian did try and get me a good discount. The small one was covered and free. The facility is a bit far from my home but I’m glad that I just found another reliable dealership to service my Ford. A+

“We bought a used truck. There was a small chip damage to the windshield and a broken stone guard on the front hood which they promised to fix prior to pick up. The ordered stone guard was taken care of ( we had to install as it was after market – they purchased it). On the day of pick up, we were told the chip had been sealed by their “”glass guy””. We were not happy with the repair, but foolishly took the truck anyway. We were promised a repair at home the next day, then the next week, then they stopped answering our phone calls and emails when we called to see when the repair would be arranged. Poor customer service. Once you are out the door, that’s it!”

“This started off a little rocky but the dealership did a great job of educating me about what happens when you see the “”computer not ready”” light. I was really concerned this would drag on, especially since I had driven the car an extra 60 miles. However, I didn’t bring it back to the shop that day. I was going to Peekskill and they thought it would be a good idea for me to bring the car in directly after driving it home. That apparently did put enough mileage (at a fast speed) to have the car cycle renew itself. I did receive great attention from Maria and Charlie as well. When he gave me the “”thumbs up”” that the car could pass inspection, he looked sincerely happy. I appreciated that a lot. I am not great with technology but Hempstead Ford made this as painless as possible.”

Ford Motor Company offered me a free warranty coverage to replace a clutch part so I went to Hempstead Ford. John Lydon was extremely helpful through the process from when I first walked in, he mentioned that they will order the part and get back to me. This took a while (a few weeks), but I was patient. Once the parts arrived, John texted me, set up an appointment, gave me a really nice loaner and completed the work in just a few days over the busy Christmas holidays. The 25,000mi Service is comprised of mostly ‘check/inspect’ items- it is very high-priced. Many of these checks are visual, and can be done simultaneously. The cost structure needs to be adjusted to combine as many of these into smaller groups instead of considering them as individual flat rate labor time units. The cost could likely be reduced by 20-25%- much fairer to customers.

I believe Fords service department and personnel is very conscientious and professional. They are very good. That said, I had a problem with the seat heater, drivers side and Ford confirmed the problem. My wife and I had signed up for an extended Warranty. Lo and behold Ford quietly changed the Warranty and no longer warranties the seat. Not happy. This is the third serious problem with my Ford Explorer. Ford did take care of both problems at their cost. This problem is not covered. This is The third Explorer I’ve had. I’m considering trading it in for a Honda. Thursday , noon, I received a call from Ford representative John , who followed up earlier on his own concerning the change in my warranty. He indicated that corporate Ford heard him out and agreed that the change was never transmitted to the dealerships. They found out when the problem was presented. Ford has agreed to stay with the original warranty and will fix the car for the agreed upon deductible. I have to withdraw my complaint above and thank John at Ford Hempstead and Corporate Ford. Thank you all.

On June 17, 2020, our 18 year old son experienced true greed and rudeness for the first time in his life. Our son has worked for 2 years to save up for his dream car. We were excited to drive 2 hours and buy his dream car, however when we met Stan he was the most obnoxious, arrogant and egotistical poor excuse of a salesman and human being. We asked if we negotiate the price by only 1,000 so our son could have enough to pay for his insurance and all the plates, warranty, and paper work costs. Stan abruptly and rudely dismiss us and walked away. He no longer wanted to even reasonably speak to us. It is a shame that our son had to learn a lesson in what bad business is like. Our son will be happy to keep saving money and buy his car somewhere else but definitely not with Hempstead L.I Ford and even less from Stan. Never do business with them.

“I brought the car in for an airbag recall (light was on in the dash), got a bunch more “”necessary services””, and when I got the car back the airbag light was still on in the dahboard. I thought it was just an oversight so let them know right away. They told me 1. even though they did replace the airbag, turning off the light was an additional service which I would have to pay for (~$250) and 2. No one (on a Saturday morning) was around who could do it, so even if I did pay, I’d have to leave the car an additional other day. Funny enough, I would have left dissatisfied and just gone to another dealership for the light, except they sent me 4 emails requesting this review. The car lost rpm on the high way as soon as it hits 36000 miles. Appearing on the dashboard “ high coolant temperature overheating “. Saw the recall codes , presented it to the dealership they refused it saying it only pertains to the cars assembled in Mexico. I paid for the diagnosis. Only to be told I need to pay for five more hours of diagnoses. The car starts but won’t move due to the problem which stops the car from moving until the temperature sensor is changed the the computer reset done. The sales representative not knowing what was wrong with the car told me “ the engine has to be changed” and it cost 7500. They don’t have a real mechanic there . They only care about their individual franchise sales and not about ford car users that ain’t their primary customers generally.

I came in to get an inspection. I was asked if I would be interested in going over the alignment scan. I said yes, and it came up that I needed an alignment. I agreed to have it done. An hour and a half later I came back and car was ready, I was suppose to get a free car wash, which I had to let them know to bring it back and wash it. A half hour later I went to use my window washers and the tank was empty. ( Suppose to fill at the time of inspection). I called and asked to come back to get it filled and I also asked to go through the alignment screening again. It failed, and we did it again and it failed. I felt like I was scammed. They returned my money, But if I had not used my washer, I would have never gone back. This needs to be addressed and taken care of. Sorry, I will never send any of my friends to this dealership.

This was my first service and visit to the service department. I was asked what I was there for even though when they looked up my name they saw the service I requested. Getting the text the car was ready was nice. The car was ready when promised. The pick up was ok. I had no idea where to go, felt like I should have known especially when the service tech said you don’t come to me you go to the cashier. Maybe since we discussed that morning that this was my first service and first time at that dealer, he could have shown me where to go that morning. Girls at check out were not as friendly as I have experienced at other dealers. Once just stared into space, made no eye contact and looked like she did not want to be there. They washed my car. When I got in my car the mirrors settings had been touched, why? My side view mirrors had also been pushed in. It took me over 5 minutes to get my mirrors back to where they were before. Frustrating.

I was referred to Mr. Carter by a friend of a friend. I simply came into the dealership to inquire about terminating another Ford leased vehicle approximately 6-7 months before end of lease. I did not intend to take action during this visit. However, Mr. Carter’s attention and advice caused me to commit to lease a newer, better Escape than what I had. I also liked the personal attention from every member of the Ford staff and the showroom facilities are immaculate. I appreciated that. The only minor complaint I have is that after I collected the car a few days later, I had some questions about the vehicle and also to say that a burnt smell was coming from the car when it was turned off and called but I never received a call back. I had occasion to go into the dealership a few days later while I was in Garden City on another matter. Mr. Carter’s reply why my call wasn’t returned was that he has a new phone. Well, that may be the case, but I should think my phone number is a part of Dealership records. Lack of a return call could be perceived as once the sale/lease was made, a return call was not a priority any more. Other than that, Mr. Carter’s attention was what made me commit to a new vehicle at a higher monthly dollar output.

Just leased a new 2019 Ford Explorer from them. My overall experience was very pleasant. I have been dealing with Hempstead FL since 2010 and I’ve never had a bad experience. Salesman John was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I never once felt pressured to buy anything. Finance Michael was also very knowledgeable and very friendly. It’s a lot of papers to sign but he made the process as painless as possible. He\they are very thorough. Again I never felt pressured to buy anything, however I did purchase the rim\tire extra protection. The roads where I live are horrible and dangerous with numerous potholes. The extended warranty is a nice piece of mind. The vehicle itself is a joy to drive! I also felt like a got a good deal. I highly, highly recommend Hempstead Ford Lincoln! I purchased a Pre certified 2015 Lincoln MKC. Vehicle was in the shop from Dec. 9th thru mid January 2019 for 38 days for a transmission repair. The vehicle was returned for more transmission failures on March 2nd. It remained untouched by March 23rd, when the Hempstead dealer was locked down for CoVid 19. The vehicle was returned mid April. I believe that repair was over 45 days. I requested a factory rebuilt transmission replaced in the vehicle and not a repair of the components on site.I was refused the rebuilt transmission. a total of 83 days in the shop. This should have been repaired both times in a reasonable time frame of 10 days EACH. I can’t imagine purchasing a new Lincoln from Hempstead Lincoln. with this length of time to fix the transmission and a complete transmission should have been he recommended repair. I have no confidence in the vehicle at this time. Thank You

After taking the car in for an airbag recall (passenger side), the technician tested my car’s wheel alignment. Not something I wanted to pay for. Good thing I called around 2:00. I went to pick up my car, get gas for the loaner, I get into my car and bring it back home. I went to try to use my phone hands free (Sync), I could not use it. I called Hempstead Ford back, the service dept. told me to come back immediately. Technician fixed it. What a waste of time. I will be using Mavis from now on. I had really good service when John was at Hempstead Ford. The service dept. is not as good as it was previously, what a shame.

The process of buying my 2018 Ford Explorer was OK. The worst part of my experience was sitting in the car trying to figure out how to use the navigation and all that other fun stuff with the sales rep. While we were sitting in the car, the engine started smoking. As my pregnant wife and two year old daughter jumped out of the car in fear i knew this was bad. Keep in mind the car has 5 MILES ON IT! The car was overheating and coolant fluid was completely drained from the car. This is unheard of! I’m not looking for a hand out or any freebies. I didn’t want to imagine this happening to me or anyone else while their out on the road with their families . No one at the dealer wanted to take responsibility for this discrepancy on their part and said it was not their fault. I’m leaving this review for other people to know the dangers of this dealership. This was a brand new car that shouldn’t have happened especially when my whole family was in the car. This is the last time I’ll buy a car from this dealership or any Ford deanship. If I could post any photos to prove to you how bad it was i would.

I leased TWO Ford Escapes because of Hempstead Ford’s fine service department. Their maintainance of my Taurus SOLD those trucks. After trying unsuccessfully to get decent warranty service at another Ford dealer (in Lynbrook) I found Hempstead. Their staff wants to make sure all your needs are met. Their service area is roomy, clean, well lit, comfortable. They have great WIFI and a charging station. They also have fresh free coffee (regular & decaf). Ms. Almeda runs a great department! They also give you a free car wash with any service! And our 2018 Escapes are perfect. Great to look at and easy to park. They have massive headroom (a requirement), a great view of the road, plenty of storage, and the heated seats are so soothing. Tony Balsamo also gets credit for making leasing as easy as possible.

My son brought my car in for service on 2/15/19. He requested tire rotation and was told it could not be done because “all lug nuts are swollen and must be replaced”. This was noted on the invoice. The service adviser, Michelle, said it is a common problem and recommended we call Ford Motor Customer Service to ask them to issue a voucher to replace the lug nuts. Michelle conveniently provided Ford’s telephone number. I called Ford Motor Company and was told that it is a normal wear item and they would not issue a voucher to replace it. I emphasized that this is a safety issue and we would not be able to change the tire in an emergency on the highway, or the rear brakes that needed to be replaced. I stated that Ford could be held responsible if someone were injured trying to change their tire. The Ford Motor Company customer service representative did not change their response that it is a normal wear item. I can understand one defective lug nut, but the Ford service department wrote on the invoice that all lug nuts (20) are swollen, and said it is a common problem they are experiencing when people bring their cars in for service. This sounds like it should be a recall item. I asked to speak to a supervisor at Ford Motor Company. I was told I would receive a call back. I received a call 2 days later. Hempstead Ford helped me with this problem and Ford Motor Company agreed to provide the lug nuts at no charge. Special thanks to Michelle in the Service Department for her help!

I had a terrible experience with Hemstead Ford service. I brought my Edge in for a 5000 mile service and repaint of three rims which i bought coverage for. After 2 weeks i was contacted that my vehicle was ready except for the rims…so it wasnt really ready. After another 2 weeks i was contacted again that the vehicle was ready so i went to pick it up. One of the rims was still not painted or the rim painting was done after they rotated my tires which means that they may have painted a rim that didnt need to be painted. I left the car there and another 3 weeks went by until they finally got it right….they ultimately had my car from November 4 until December 14th….a month and a half!!!!! Terrible…..

John should be the king of service writers. I had a problem with the display screen which eluded the computer technology that is supposed to detect and code the problem. John kept my vehicle until the problem was solved, supplied me with a great loaner vehicle, and kept me informed about the progress. Once the problem was pinpointed John expedited the repair. Hempstead Ford has a very good, organized system with their service area. They have a representative that greets you and then assigns you to a service rep that will discuss with you personally what your service needs are. My representative was polite, professional and knew exactly how to get me in and out quickly. I needed an inspection and “The Works” package done on my 2017 Explorer and was no more than 2hr wait. Their waiting area has ample seating, tv, wi-fi and coffee/tea self service area. I recommend Hempstead Ford Service.

“I called this past thurs. Sep 19, 2019. Was on the phone for about 22 min getting put on hold from one to the other until danielle picked up. I called because my 2017 w 22k ford truck which still has factory warranty (3yrs or 36k) . Has been leaking oil from the motor. Danielle said they do not take new customers and to call another ford or levitown if not the appointment would be after december or most likely next year 2020 . So i called levittown and got my appointment. Lady was very nice even said “”oh your car has a recall we will get that on here too””.. Such a disappointment that you would tell us customers .. “”sorry we’re not taking any new customers at the moment”” ..”

As a physician I made it clear to John the manager that I would need a loaner car and would be unable to pickup my car until Saturday / 3 days later . pretty straightforward experience here at this Ford… ive dealt with several dealerships so far just buying vehicles throughout my life so far and I’ve had a bad experience or two. I didn’t feel that it was a bad experience here; I dealt with Mr. Talt and he was excellent in my opinion and even gave me helpful options and tips when it came to buying my vehicle.
