I will just say your dealership is awesome. I live 6 hours away and had to do everything over the phone. They made it so easy to do business. We made a price negotiation in about 15 minutes. Andy Butler went over and beyond to make the buying experience smooth and easy .Knowing that we would be arriving fairly late Saturday Andy made a restaurant recommendation that was out of the park. Andy met us a hour before the dealership opened knowing we had a 6 hour trip back home .He personally washed the car, filled the tank with gas and surprised us with a 20 year 200,000 mile warranty at no charge. We love our 2019 Lexus ES350.We had been looking for 4 weeks all over the country for a very specific new one. This one was exactly what we were looking for with only 4300 miles on it. Germain Hyundai you are the bomb.

Our entire family has counted on the honesty of Vince each time we are car shopping. It is amazing some of the other sales techniques you hear and think you can get a better deal somewhere else until you research the bottom line!!! I walked in to look randomly on my way home at the used car section of Germain Hyundai after visiting another dealership and being disappointed with their used car selection. It was late, Friday night and honestly, I did not expect to drive home a new vehicle. That is until we met Nate. From the second he walked out and told my husband he liked his crocs (we all lie to preserve feelings sometimes) we knew he was the salesman for us. He was honest through the entire process, has some VERY witty humor which made the process feel quick and painless. Everyone we encountered also seemed to genuinely care and be willing to do whatever they can to make the customer feel comfortable and leaving in a great value product. 5⭐️ service for sure. Cannot recommend enough take a look, ask for Nate I promise you won’t regret it.

We were in the market to buy a car for our daughter who just turned 16. Started looking with a very wide choice and visited several showrooms. Hatfield Hyundai provided us the best experience. Shawn Rose was excellent. He understood what we wanted, worked out everything for us with a smile, and made the car buying experience very pleasant. When we said we wanted to surprise our daughter, he decorated our car full of balloons and a beautiful red bow! Awesome! The finance director (Mr. Lehman ?) was very pleasant to work with. I’ve called multiple times to this location over the last year to schedule an appointment to have them service my vehicle, and guess what? No answer…..not a single person to talk to, to schedule an appointment for a vehicle made by their company!!! I won’t be going here for another vehicle I went to and will continue to do business with the competition and never look back…

Yesterday I called the main number because my car indicated low tire pressure. They answered the phone on the second ring. I was greeted politely and told to come in without an appointment. I pulled up to the service door and was greeted. They directed me where to pull up the car. The young man was so nice and filled my tires immediately and made sure they were not punctured or no nails. He explained about the cold weather and tire pressure. I was so impressed with their courteous and professional manner as well as expediency of service.

“WOW! That is the word to describe my experience. I drove 3.5 hours to purchase my “”used”” 2017 Kia Sorento SX. The vehicle attracted me first, but the customer service is what roped me in. I was blown away by their curtousy. Shannon Hall was amazing with her e-mail initial communication and transparency. She e-mailed me almost daily with car updates. Then, once I started asking more serious sales questions, I was referred to Andy Butler (manager) and Jacob Higgins (salesman). Both of which went above and beyond to reassure me of our deal and give me peace of mind before making the trip. Jacob sent me additional pictures and videos beyond what the website had listed. Andy even called me and talked personally while he was supposed to be off work. Once I arrived, the car was in perfect condition, just as described. It was practically brand new. There were no hidden fees or conditions that we had not previously discussed. Everything was quick, straight forward, and honest and the deal they gave me was INCREDIBLE. I can confidently say this because I had been looking at vehicles for over a month before I found this one. Beware of Scam Practices in Service Department. Went in for a recall Service added an oil change. Eric shop rep called my wife to try to add a $29.99 service for cleaning battery terminals. $189 Brake Fluid Flush. $199 fuel system cleaning on a 52k mile 2018 Tucson. Will add pics of terminals and clear brake fluid that they didn’t perform.

Vince and Gerald at Germain Hyundai made my leasing experience fun, timely and safe. They are following all COVID guidelines. Their customer service is the best in the industry. I felt they both genuinely cared for me as if I were family, and in today’s world that means so much. The new Hyundai’s come with more bells and whistles than luxury cars. I am leasing a Sante Fe and the safety features alone are exceptional! And not to mention the panoramic sunroof with heated back seats! It’s the best way to star gaze on a cold Ohio night. “I read that the “”H”” in Hyundai represents a handshake and is a symbol of customer trust and satisfaction. Manager Andy Butler embraces this and rebuilt my trust. However I write this review with mixed feelings. Andy placed energy and effort into actively listening and problem solving. After feeling misled by sales agent Lisa Heart I felt all the used car salesman’s cliches where true. I felt rushed into a purchase. Before buying, I confirmed I could return the car if it did not fit my needs within a day. Her response was “”yes, but call immediately – not on 3 – 4 weeks “”. I called forty minutes after purchase- no answer on the phone – both numbers several times. I spoke to a service person who stated I could just return the car. Lisa finally responded back after an email was sent- setting a letter trail. Her response when I asked to return the car was “”for trade only””. Exhausted, I found myself lost, only in this situation of car searching due to a hit and run. Andy put my mind at ease and provided reassurance. At the end of the month, two days after I was told my check would be shredded, I was shocked to find it had been cashed. Was this to provide commission to the sales person? I may never know. Another drive out to get the refund check…time to redeposit. I really want to believe that the “”H””symbolizes a handshake. I want to trust.”

I just bought a used car there today. I have to say Russell the salesman did a great job of presenting the cars and was very knowledgeable about them. But I want to give special thanks to Andy Butler the manager. The first car they showed me was exactly what I wanted. However it just wasn’t going to work financially. I told them what I wanted and they did a great job of searching and finding me a vehicle that was everything that I desired and it fit my price range. “First ever dealership experience. I’m from Dayton, so this was a bit of a drive for me, but I’m totally happy. Well worth the drive. I’m 35 and have been driving beaters my whole life. My brother and mom intervened and insisted I try buying a certified car. We all went together on the first warm Saturday. The place was busy, I found the car I wanted. Matt was my sales associate. This guy was no pressure, cordial, and quite frankly cool as hell. He was my age or younger, and his only priority was making me happy with my purchase. I couldn’t have had a better “”first time”” dealership experience. Because the place was SO busy that weekend, we had to wait a long time for the financing people to get around to us. Luckily, there were several other sales guys on the “”used”” end of the Hyundai segment of Germain to hang out with. They took the initiative to talk to us about music, games, interests and whatever topics popped up. I didn’t feel like I was buying a car from a business. I felt like I was buying a car from people like me who care. I guess I felt like I was buying a car from friends. And guess what? I love my car. Want a great used car, Ohio? Buy here. It was worth both the roadtrip and the wait.”

I financed through my credit union, so the financial folks at Germain were good about offering other options, but not being too pushy. In and out fairly quick. Great buying experience.

Leased a new car here about 6 months ago. Worked with Shane in sales and Ricky in finance. Both were great and helped me get what I wanted. One thing I noticed was that I was given a real price up front, not something that changed as soon I went in the finance office. The rest of the experience was great as well complimented by great people. Appreciate the up front honesty & everyone who stayed late to help us finish getting the car. Had my first service recently as well and it was quick and painless. Definitely the best Hyundai dealer in town.

We have purchased many vehicles in the past. We purchased a 2020 Santa Fe at Germain Hyundai Monday. Germain went the extra mile with us, showing us both Limited models with the 2.4 and 2.0 power train in both all wheel and front wheel drive. We test drove them all allowing us to fully experience the ride and comfort and especially the Heads Up Display. Santa Fe Limited models have a great deal of features that we needed and wanted to be fully informed. We settled in with the Limited 2.0 in front wheel drive. Then when it came to running the numbers they did an outstanding job giving us many options to suit our needs budget wise. I have to admit our purchase at Germain Hyundai was the most pleasant experience ever. There were NO sales pressures at all or at anytime. We felt we were in the drivers seat asking for help where we needed it and again they jumped through hoops for our business. We highly and strongly recommend Germain Hyundai team. Wow, I don’t know where to start! This dealership far surpassed my expectations for a used car purchase. First, the purchase was quick, easy, and pressure free. More importantly the service after the purchase was greater than the 5 star rating Google allows. In summary, I purchased a 2016 Elantra with 95,000 miles on it and no warranty. Two-three weeks after purchase the engine threw a rod. There was no obligation on the part of Germain Hyundai to do anything for me as I purchased a used car with no warranty. However, Germain Hyundai towed my vehicle from about 2 hours away and then went to bat for me with Hyundai. Andy and TJ at Germain were able to get Hyundai to pay for a new engine and a rental car as well. Due to Andy and TJ, the engine was replaced, the tow covered, and a rental car paid for all with $0 out of my pocket. I can’t find the words to express my gratitude and I am still blown away by what German Hyundai did for me when they really didn’t have to. Going above and beyond expectations is an understatement. I will say this, that even being 2 hours away from this dealership, they will be my first option when looking for cars in the future. I even have co-workers that are so impressed with what Germain Hyundai did for me that they are going to check with Germain when they are ready to buy new vehicles. This is a dealership that has gone above and beyond what was required or even reasonable and they are the best in my book!! Andy (manager of used cars sales) was so very attentive and prompt to all my concerns and so professional in all he did. My Hyundai Elantra got totaled and I was in the market for a replacement one. One of the first place I found online that I could visit was Hyundai Germain. I placed a called and arranged to meet J Higgins that very day. Unfortunately, that was the start of the worst customer service experience I have had in a long time. You’d honestly think if someone was making a vehicle purchase, which is not cheap, the rep would put effort into returning your calls, responding to your messages or looking at his inventory to update you accordingly when something is available. All in an effort to ensure that you would make a purchase from him. Not so with Mr. Higgins. When he did return calls, it was way later than when he had promised. When I called to inform I was going to be late for a meeting to see two cars he said he’d be out of office (absolutely fine since I was delayed last minute) but he’d arrange for another colleague to take care of me. I show up and this colleague has no I idea who I am and brusquely passes me off unto another employee since she is busy taking care of her own clients. Jacob was still there wrapping up on the sale of the car I knew for sure was on the lot and was coming to see him about. Disappointing, but I really wish he had had the decency to tell me, send me a text thereby giving me a heads up that someone else was buying the vehicle before I showed up. Also, I had waited for days for the other car that was on their website, but he promised would be on his lot in two day. Two days dragged and never came. At the same moment I am being passed around and just lost out on the one confirmed car I came to see, he dismissively told his colleague in front of me that that the second car had been sold previously as well. Perhaps in his hurry to leave he did not realize that he had just made me realize what really happened to the car I had been calling and texting to see for days. I cannot recommend this company, if I were in the market for another vehicle, they would be my veryyyyy last resort (never say never) and at a price that I could not pass up. I went to many other car dealers and this place was hands down the worst.

“I do not advise anyone to purchase from Germain Hyundia. I had an experience recently I purchased a used vehicle and was strait out lied too by the sale person lisa Hart. I was looking at a used Hyundia elantra and noticed it had an aftermarket remote on the key chain. I asked the sales person mrs hart if it was an aftermarket remote start and if so I was not interested in the vehicle. She flat out lied to me and said no and went as far to say that she had heard the “”alarm”” go off that it was only a security system. There was no alarm for her to ever hear. After that lie the next lie was that the car had a complete multi point inspection and all fluids were changed and topped off. I would think that if a car had a multi point inspection they would have found the brake light being out witch my local police department found for Me the next day after my traffic stop for a blown tail light. Also there was no window washer fluid in the car at all but all fluids were toped off according to mr hart. Lie number three your floor mats are in and your ready to go. My wife drove the car home from the dealer and the incorrect floor mats she had put in the car that were way to big got balled up under the accelerator pedal on the way home. Yeah on the side of interstate 270 in the dark tying to unlodge floormats from under the gas pedal. When I called about the floor mats they said oh it had weather tech mats in it basically accused me of stealing the floor mats.Total worse car buying experience I’ve ever had. I felt I had deceitful tactics used on me to close the purchase of this vehicle. My advise stay away they lie cheat and deceit people into buying cars. I wont mention the promise to order me the correct weather tech floor mats witch they accused me of stealing out of the car that I’ve yet to receive. I called the parts department if i order floor mats it’s two days to get them in. it’s been over a week still no floor mats so I’m destroing the carpet in the car I just got conned into buying. I’m considering calling channel 6 on your side to expose the tactics this shady dealer is using to push cars on people. My aunt works for a law firm I am considering a law suit also I have an appointment next week with an attorney for consultation.”

Despite the social-distancing practice due to COVID-19 in place, our sales staff still maintained a professional buying experience for us. They were courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable about their product. Working with our salesperson, Kori, was a pleasant experience. We had initially did research on two vehicles, but ended up looking at a different one. He did everything to accommodate us without seeming put-out when asked to pull out different vehicles for our test-drives. We arrived very indecisive about our purchase but he was patient and helpful. There was no pressuring, no upselling, no bait-and-switch tactics. We seemed to go off in an entirely different direction than we had intended and he was knowledgeable about the vehicles, even though he could not have been prepared for our diversion. There were a few questions that he could not answer but he honestly admitted it instead of making something up. In the past, we have shown up at a dealership knowing the exact model we wanted, right down to the VIN number, and it still ended up taking six hours or more. We were in and out of Germain in under three hours, despite our waffling about price. Kori never pulled the old “let me check with my manager” tactic when we came down to numbers. (A big waste of time.) We told him what we wanted and he and his finance manager made it work. The finance manager also got us in and out quickly and efficiently. He did offer the extended warranties, etc. – the “Do you want fries with that?” technique. But he was not aggressive about it. He easily accepted no for an answer. When we entered his office to deal with him, the numbers had all been crunched and settled on and yet during our dealings, as an afterthought, we asked him to check another bank. He did, and ended up lowering our payment about $50 per month. In all, the staff at Germain managed to make the process of buying a vehicle, ordinarily a nerve-wracking, time-consuming, and tiring experience into something more enjoyable. This is the first dealership we visited while shopping at the Auto Mall. Greeted quickly and the man was friendly, we told him our price range and that we were interested in either a Car or SUV. His attitude changed and told us we will not be able to find an SUV anywhere for that price, and began to show us all the cars we couldn’t afford (double our budget) We left and stopped at a few more dealerships, eventually going to Nissan and purchased a Nisan Murano with duel sunroofs, 11 speaker Bose Sound system, certified pre-owned 1 Owner, no damage and with leather seats for $2000 less then our stated budget. Thank you Nissan and Sorry Hyundai you could’ve had an awesome CASH ONLY sale but we felt like he didn’t want us there.

This review is in regard to the initial purchase I made from Germain Hyundai within the last 24 hours and may evolve over time. Initial purchase I found Germain Hyundai’s prices to be better than competitive and their staff friendly, understanding, courteous, and overall helpful in getting me in the vehicle I wanted. There was even a minor issue on their end with the price they quoted being lower than they had intended, but they owned up to their mistake and gave me the mistake price in good faith. My sales rep, Brandon Smith, was especially friendly and a real joy to interact with, from our initial phone calls, to a friendly chat during our test drive, to ensuring I knew all the features of the vehicle I eventually chose. I will go out of my way to consider Germain again for all my vehicle needs in the future. For an auto dealer, they are honest, fair, and had my best interest in mind from start to finish… and I’m absolutely, most definitely, a hard sell in that regard.

Then we had a woman talk us through it all then a man to do the financing. We were there for maybe 2 hours and it was bearable and they treated us very nice and was patient with all 3 of us. Buying a car in my case isn’t the typical experience… since I drive with hand controls picking out the car takes time and I have to take extra steps to make sure its going to be something that works for me. Purchased two pre-owned cars from this dealership and was told that there are no issues and showed me the diagnostic report for each of the cars. Not even 30 days’ in and the cars started to have issues. Take the car to shop and was told it will cost 2000+ for repairs. When I bring the car back to this dealership they tell me the car is fine and need no repairs, on multiple occasions. I was thinking that this is a reputable dealership and should not sell cars with this many issues to customers. I was wrong. First car is a Sonata second car is Santa-fe. It’s just shady that the diagnostic report is different from when the car is on the lot vs the car in your name. stay away from their pre-owned inventory.

I had been to two other Hyundai dealerships close to where I live and was almost ready to give up on my purchase. The service was so terrible I couldn’t believe it. The two locations to us one we spent all day there and they wouldn’t ever one show us the price of any of the three vehicles and two tried to sorry but, screw me on my trade -in, I then tried another location even closer to my house thought I would give them a chance . Took off work early got there spoke to a girl named Terri whom was very pleasant and nice and I would of bought off of her but, I got turned over to the gentleman on the phone whom I had spoke with the day before and didn’t like his attitude on the phone is why I went somewhere else in the first place. So he met with me not friendly at all should really retire he doesn’t want to help or even try to do anything for you I told him thanks but, no thanks these two companies knew I had a Home Depot certificate in which entitled me to more money off so it was like they didn’t want to mess with me. My fiancée told me to call Germain and give them a chance I told him no I was done he talked me into calling them and giving you a chance so I did, and spoke with Craig. Craig got back with me with a price had me fill out and app online to get financed and I told him if he could get back with me and get me approved I would come and buy the car. He looked at the app called me right back and the first estimate on my first car was more of a payment then I wanted to pay so I asked about another car and he said hold on I will check it right now for you and he did and told me my payment over the phone and that he had me financed and when would I like to come pick up my car. I asked if he was kidding he said no well of course I wanted my car right away so they were over an hour away from me and they would of been closed but, said they would stay open for me and they did. I was so surprised at how nice, and easy, and ready everything was when I had got there. I was actually treated like a real person. I have never purchased a car from a more friendly dealership and I wouldn’t go any where else ever again and I will tell everyone I know about your dealership from the Sales manager to the young man that helped us, to the fiancé department all AAA+. Just want all of them to know they do a wonderful job.

I just purchased a 2020 Hyundai Kona Ultimate from this dealer (Sales guy named is Shawn) couldn’t have been easier. I walked in told him exactly which vehicle in b their stock I wanted. What I wanted for my trade-inm I then drove the Kona to my place to grab my checkbook (Had forgot it at home). Came back and bought the car. I recently purchased a used 2012 Sonata and discovered the previous owner had not taken care of the multiple recalls for this model. The Hatfield Hyundai service department addressed all of the recall issues in one visit. They even fixed an issue they discovered with the steering column that was covered under the extended warranty without me even having to bring it back in. To me, that is going above and beyond when it comes to service. I will absolutely keep Hatfield Hyundai at the top of my list for any future repairs or service needs for my Sonata.

We received a recall notice a week ago and I set up an appointment for the following Thursday. When we went to drop the car off Thursday morning at the scheduled time we were told that they had run out of the relay kits to fix the recall issue 2 days ago and wouldn’t be getting any back in until after May 1. No explanation for why they didn’t call us to let us know. Would really have preferred to stay in during the stay at home order and not risk going out just to be told they did not have the kit in stock, even though they set up the appointment and then never bothered to let us know that they ran out of kits 48 hours earlier! Showed no sign of being sorry. They just lost my business.

I went in to Germain thinking I was just doing some research. I knew a little about the car I wanted to get and knew I wanted to either buy pre-owned or go the leasing route. My salesman, Brandon, was phenomenal. He listed the pros and cons for both options and listed all the details for the cars I was interested in. I was given the opportunity to test drive the vehicle that would actually become mine in the end as well. When it came to the price of the vehicle, at first I was sticker shocked, but Brandon was able to make it so it was in a comfortable range for me and where I am financially. When it came to meeting with the finance man, Ricky, I was also treated with respect and given the opportunity to discuss different care packages for the vehicle. Both of these men were very respectful, they listened and answered any questions I had (which were a lot), and made sure I understood everything about the process. Both of these individuals also stayed past the closing time of the store to make sure everything was squared away. They really went above and beyond to make the leasing experience easy and attainable. I recommend Germain Hyundai to anyone considering a lease, new car, or wanting a pre-owned used.

They had the vehicle I was looking for at the price I wanted. I was in the market since my lease was ending and with Ralph Heygood’s help I was able to get a used Veloster at a very reasonable price. Everyone at the dealership was super and even though the visit took a little longer than I expected (holiday weekend, skeleton crew) we got it done and I’m certainly one happy customer. The reality is this. We have been coming to Hatfield for over a decade, and did so because they have taken amazing care of us from day 1. We even drive an hour to get all of our services done here, when we have a dealer only 10 minutes away. That said, the finance guy that I had this time was an absolute disgrace. Never made me feel comfortable and talked down to me through out. My sales person was great. The finance person had me distrusting the entire process. In the end we are even second guessing future business at a place we had previously always felt was home. Nothing about him screamed professionalism, from dress to attitude. Instead it had me thinking 1970s used car sales.

I have been to several dealerships and everyone that I worked with at Hatfield Hyundai was by far the friendliest, most knowledgeable about the vehicles, willing to suggest other options within my budget, and most of all there is little pressure. I would recommend this dealership and from my short experience with my first Hyundai, I would recommend the vehicle as well. Though there was not a huge inventory of the Santa Fe’s I was assured that they could get the vehicle color/options that I wanted in a very short time.
