Had my 2021 Tacoma TRD sport serviced at Germain Toyota. They quoted me an hour but had my car serviced and ready to go within 25 min. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Excellent customer service as well. The two wonderful women behind the counter made the checkout process very simple. Will definitely be coming back for all my Toyota needs! I have used Germain Toyota before when my Scion was involved in a fender bender (which they did an amazing job) Now it was time to purchase an used vehicle. Liked the fact Germain has a separate showroom for the used vehicle which eliminated the possibility of trying to be sold a new vehicle. Greeted with a friendly salesperson (Mr. Joe Kelly) who listened what we wanted and brought us a vehicle that we instantly fell in love. Made the process easy, stress free and was keeping us updated on the vehicle as it was getting certified. If you are looking to purchase a used vehicle – Germain Toyota is the best.

I brought my truck in for service and needed a rental vehicle for a while. I met Mahogany Nolen while in the rental car dept. She asked what kind of car I was having serviced and would I like something similar. I told her I recently had hip surgery and needed a taller vehicle. She set me up in a Toyota Tundra which was perfect! She was super friendly and very customer focused. Great asset to Germain Toyota!

These people do not care about your time. Every time my wife needs to get an oil change, she makes an appointment. When we make an appointment we ask if they will be able to honor the appointment time and they say of course. Every time my wife shows up to the appointment, they tell her that it is going to be a while. It usually takes 2-3 hours while she is sitting in the waiting area. She had an appointment at 11:30am today and she is currently still waiting for them to complete (4 hours later). A Saturday wasted because Germain continues to assure us they will keep the appointment and fail to follow through. Never has a discount been given. We have been tricked for the last time.

I have used a local dealership to buy all my cars over the years. My 18 year old daughter was in the market for a car and just couldn’t find what she wanted here. (Teenagers!) When she found and fell in love with a car online at Germain, i had my reservations. I thought no way could a large dealership make the deal and make us feel taken care of like my local guys. I was WRONG! I have to say the customer service at Germain was excellent. The sales associates and financing guy were great. Gary, our sales guy, was a big help and explained everything about the vehicle from beginning to end. He didn’t pressure us and was very straight up about everything. Our finance guy, Ryan, was also very helpful and showed extra care to help my daughter understand the process. He worked the numbers and not only got us the best deal but also made it possible to afford a great extra warranty. The buying experience was great overall and we are both pleased with her new car. We will be repeat customer’s.

Everything was fine until after the sale and asked for the keys. They gave me a valet key that cut and jagged my fingers. Only one place to use key entry. Now I do not have security or keyless locks on car… OR even a book to understand what I do have 😢😣 Very disturbing.

I got new 4Runner here and I have to say the customer service was excellent. The whole place had something of a impersonal feel to it, chaotic, but the sales associates and financing guy were great. Sal in particular was a big help and explained everything about the vehicle carefully from beginning to end. He didn’t pressure me and was very straight up about everything. I went to Germain to diagnose my engine light, since previously I was given phenomenal customer service. I was told it was fine and to drive on it and if there were further issues to bring it back. A week later my car breaks down on the highway. I get it towed to their shop and I am told that now I need a new engine. Why could they not diagnose an issue like this a week ago? An addition to that they are charging me for a new diagnose it when I pay almost $400 the week before. What did I pay for the first time when I got my car looked at? They could not even get me a rental car so I can work while I wait for my vehicle to be looked at second time. That is terrible service.

I recently bought a Tacoma from this dealer through Ashiq. I was looking for a rather specific truck, and was lucky enough to be in contact with Ashiq as they were receiving what I was looking for. He was able to help me get exactly what I was looking for with minimal headache on my end I was buying from out of town, and he made the process very smooth, taking information so that all of the paperwork could mostly be done once I arrived. I gave specific instructions on how I wanted to receive the truck when I picked it up, which they followed to the T. Overall a really positive experience, and I would shop with them again in the future.

Jerrod Ridgeway & Mahogany Nolen were the example of fantastic customer service. They both were nice, friendly, accommodating, and so much more. Can’t praise them enough!!! I wasn’t happy about discovering yet another scratch on my driver side door of my vehicle that I know had not been there before; and waiting 1.5 hours past my estimated wait time but in the end, that’s not at the fault of the employees outside the garage.

We purchased a 2019 RAV4. Joe in the sales department was a absolute pleasure to work with, however I can’t say the same for the financing department. Overly pushy trying to get us to finance ad on services and despite telling them multiple times we did not want to sign up for the Toyota Rewards Credit card and refusing to sign the paper to open that account, we were surprised two weeks later with a Credit card in the mail and an additional hard inquiry on our credit report. We called in to talk to the dealership and make sure there wasn’t some mistake, and were told that anytime you purchase a car from them they sign you up for a Toyota Credit Card. Demetrius was completely unhelpful and basically told us we’d have to dispute the card with Visa to have the account closed. Additionally part of the deal was supposed to be $200 off the purchase price of the car if we signed up, but of course we didn’t get that bonus and now get the added benefit of a reduced credit score and one more credit card to get stolen. Edit: The Owners response is inaccurate. We were not told that there was no option to decline the opening of the credit card. We were asked repeatedly if we were sure we didn’t want the credit card and we said we did not. Had we been told there was no option to decline the opening of a new credit account when financing through Toyota we would have elected to finance through our own lender. Also there was an approval form that required a signature to open said credit card and we did declined to sign that form, so I’m not sure how the account was opened without authorization.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have Been looking for a car did several months and found the model, trim, mileage, etc. I wanted At Germaine. I live a little over two hours away and wanted to make sure that the car would still be on the lot at the time of arrival. I was Told Friday after close that the car would be held for me Saturday morning until my appointment. Upon walking in for my appointment I was Told the car had just sold. While I understand A dealer is in the business of selling cars, it was very poor service.

03-20-2021 took Toyota 2015 Venza limited for a brake and transmission fluid flush. 471.00 . Car is now making loud rattling noise from what sounds like a pulley/alternator . Did NOT have this noise before taking care in. Am I upset. You bet. Transmission is 2nd most expensive part in a car. Also noticed they left my coolant bottle almost empty– last month they did the coolant flush. Yesterday they didn’t even notice that or the noise coming from my engine after servicing. They really need to start paying attention unacceptable

Terrible experience with this dealer from the start, I inquired to lease a Tacoma online and received replies from Elston and Amanda. After a couple exchanges they agreed to match a deal from another dealer and then went silent when I asked if they can do better. I followed up and got no reply until reaching out to Buddy the Sales Manager which at that point Elston reached back out. Elston said they can only match which I said that is fine. At this point the original Tacoma I inquired about sold and then another one they had coming in was promised to me which you guessed it was also sold but they then promised a third one that was in transit which Amanda put in the system that it is sold to me. With the Tacoma being tagged to me Amanda asked me to fill out the credit app to start the whole process and have everything ready when the truck arrives. With everything happening with Covid and weather the arrival of the Tacoma was pushed back couple times which I learned only by reaching out multiple times to Amanda to get a status update as I was in the dark. I asked Amanda if she can get one from another dealer but she said no one is willing to trade for it so I kept waiting for this one to arrive. Finally the Tacoma was supposed to arrive and Amanda promised she will let me know the second it gets to the dealer. Well I only learned the Tacoma got there by checking their site daily and I text Amanda saying looks like it arrived according to the dealer website. I let her know I can be in on Saturday to pick up. Amanda replies saying she will check if the Tacoma did arrive and at that point she informs me the Tacoma was traded to another dealer by another manager. At this point I am puzzled somehow a car tagged with my name in the system was traded to another dealer in less than 24 hours. Amanda’s suggestion was for me to contact couple local dealers she thinks have the Tacoma in stock and have them match the deal as no one will trade with them for it. I told Amanda to have a manager reach out to me but never got a call. In the end all I got was empty promises and a hard pull on my credit history. Go else where customer service is awful in every way.

Would never go here again or recommend. My husband and I went here and bought a transit van for our company in July with a warranty, also leased a 4 runner. Ever since July of 2020 we have been fighting with them regarding the $3000 warranty we paid for and got a letter in the mail it was invalid afterward. We still have not received our money back. Ryan was the salesperson, and it has been a nightmare. I would never post unless it absolutely has been every bit of a rip off. We just want our company’s money back now for the warranty that was sold and never was valid. Every time we call no one will answer us, and acts like they don’t know the situation. It’s infuriating. Edit to add, every time we ask to talk to a manager, they transfer us to another salesperson. I also have documentation of all the times we have called/text and never got back with us. First the warranty was put in wrong and now it’s taken months to get accepted, and now we just want our money back. It’s really unfortunate. Poor business skills and customer service when something happens out of the ordinary.

It’s a reasonable place to wait, but 90 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation seems a bit much. This is my first brand new vehicle so my experience with dealership maintenance is very thin. 90 minutes may be the norm, still not crazy about it.

“A lot of these bad reviews are for the service department and not the sales department. They should really have their own ratings. We just bought our second RAV4 in two months. Quinton is a really cool guy!!! Make him work for it though!!!! Lol. We did go test drive a CRV from Lindsey the night before we purchased the second RAV4. What an awful experience that was. Their first offer was $421 on a 36 month lease with a sticker price of $30,500. Then $400. Right up till I told them what Germain was offering All of a sudden they could “”match”” that. Their first offer was almost $100 higher. I will say, as two woman, at Germain, we never felt as if we were being treated unfairly. They allowed us to make offers until we were comfortable. We will be back and also will tell our friends about them!!!! Thank you team!!!!”

I’ve purchased three vehicles from this dealership and worked with Gary & Heather Romine each time… Gary always takes good care of me by going out of his way to find the right vehicle for me. I have learned to trust Gary with his candid honesty.🤷🏼‍♂️ Heather, in financing, well take the time to find me the best possible loan. She does not try to over$ell me on a bunch of additional expenses, such as Gap insurance that (in some scenarios) I did not need. … However, she has been doing this a long time and will tell me when I should buy something. For this I really trust her also. The total experience leaves me feeling confident in my purchase. 🤸‍♂️ Feeling as though I was provided the best possible solution for my need & given the most fair deal. Their experience and seniority in their position makes the day whole purchase so much more time efficient as well!… If you are anything like me, you can think of a whole lot more you’d like to be doing than sitting in a car dealership. Overall experience has been positive, however for a dealership this size and caliber you think they would have courtesy drivers I only have one car and when it’s in the shop how am I supposed to get there to pick it up.. when you’re worried about paying the big repair bill the last thing you want to worry about is being hit with a big Uber or taxi cab bill. And yes my car was towed to the dealership. But I definitely recommend this dealership for repairs very knowledgeable and very fast service!

We met with Joscelyn at Germain Toyota to inquire about selling our 2016 Tacoma. We love the truck but just don’t have any reason to keep it since we both work from home. It just wasn’t being used. She made an offer within minutes. The whole process was fast! Faster than I ever thought could occur, especially with all the stigma attached to the car buying and selling experience! And the best part was the offer was much higher than expected. (much!) Go see her if you are thinking about downsizing your car collection. She’s a pleasure to work with. We’ve have dealt with 3 different Toyota dealerships including this one and I must say the experience here was the least positive. There was an initial action by the receptionist when I first arrived that I didn’t like but I chose to overlook it. Also, I’m use to them going over the services provided after the completion of the job and it was negative at this location. He just dropped off the paper with the cashier and loudly told me what he had done as I passed him. The cashier was also the least friendliest with no interaction whatsoever. Other cars received a complimentary car wash (which we’ve gotten with the other dealerships) and that was not the case here. Customer service is important in many field of work and I feel that they were lacking. I wouldn’t mind driving 30 minutes to a Toyota dealership next time for my service. I will definitely not be returning there.

We bought a used Subaru in March 2019. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and had just totaled my car, so we needed something quick. That night I had no real issues. The car hadn’t been through the body shop yet, so they let us bring it back later. When we went to pick up the car we ended up being there for an HOUR waiting for them to find my keys they apparently lost. Several months later I had a cracked manifold. Fortunately we purchased a prepaid maintenance plan and extended warranty that we were specifically told could be used at any Toyota dealership. I called Tansky which is much closer and they insisted the plan was only with Germain, who kept insisting that I could go to Tansky. I’ve played that battle several times now. I ended up having to go to the Subaru dealership who said they could not except the warranty. I’ve been way over due for an oil change because of this run around and not having time to drive over an hour past multiple closer dealerships that supposedly could help me but actually can’t. Thursday I called Germain and Tansky and scheduled an appointment for an oil change at Tansky. I left work early and hauled it to Sawmill where Tansky told me they couldn’t really work on other makes and would have to upcharge the service so I would not be saving money. Germain had openings on their website so I called to schedule an appointment and was told they had nothing available (yet another lie). I finally make it to Germain this morning where I spent 2 hours waiting for an oil change. They had a kids room with toys and a TV which would have been great if it weren’t disgusting. There was a moldy Cheeto on the table and it looked like nothing had been cleaned in ages. This would have been irritating anytime, but was totally unacceptable in the midst of COVID. When my car was finally done I was sent out to wander the parking lot dragging my toddler trying to find my car that was “right out front”. I went back in to cancel the prepaid plans and was told all the same lies as before. Maybe the finance guys are truly just ignorant instead of misleading jerks.

Seamless way to sell our older car! We completed a Kelly Blue Book Instant Cash Offer on Thursday and were contacted by a few creepy buyers. Jocelyn from Germain Toyota sent a professional message, went over a few details for the selling process, and invited me into the dealership. I needed a vehicle that got decent gas mileage for work because, being a contractor I drive quite a bit. I called Germain after seeing that they had a vehicle very similar to the one I had seen at a different dealership. The other dealership had added some charges to the P.O. that I would never have seen had my credit union rep not called me about it. I felt that they were being shady and dishonest. I called Germain and spoke with Kaleb Murray about the vehicle and set an appointment. He said that he would have it ready when I got there. When I arrived it was there like he said (points for keeping his word) and having a great attitude. From there I deacribed my experience at the other spot and told him what I wanted to pay out the door. The rest is history. From the initial phone call to Demitrus in finance, getting me a lower rate than my credit union, my experience was solid. I recommend Germain.

I feel like they didn’t take my concerns serious, I’m still having issues with the vehicle they sold me and I feel like they just sold me a car to make their numbers and that they did not inspect this vehicle as they say. From No Brake Lights when they sold it , so serious shifting issues , they really just gave me anything and walked away , but I will be looking into this with legal concern , because 3 weeks with a car have been back 6 times if beyond terrible, This car is listed for sale again , and the car has serious steering issues , please do not let them cheat you out of your money

Things were going pretty bad for me when I took my car in to be serviced. Germain couldn’t find my keys, my repair was going to take a long time and the part wasn’t in stock. I was frustrated with the communication and about to scream at someone…. then Mahogany Nolan stepped in and saved the day. My wife bought a car from Germain 3 weeks ago and it has been a nightmare of an experience. The vehicle has been in the shop 6 times within those 3 weeks. It first started with a bad rear, passenger tire. I drove it when she got it back and notice there were a few more issues that were not picked up by the service team. There was an electrical issue with the driver side window controls, that still was not fixed. Then there was the 0-2 sensor that went bad that they had to fix. We told them about an issue with the shifter/transmission; we were told that there was no issue and that 2 different people test drove it and found no issues. Took it back 2 days later, and let them test drive it again. As soon as one of the managers test drove it, they noticed it instantly. The most serious issue was that for the first 2 weeks my wife had the vehicle, she had no brake lights! My wife doesn’t drive at night but she went to out of town to visit family and had to drive back at night. Other drivers including semi-truck drivers were flashing their lights at her, so when she made it home, she had me go around and inspect her car. That is when I noticed that there were no brake lights at all. I was immediately outraged because many thoughts ran through my mind. From my wife getting an unnecessary ticket to the fact that I could have lost my wife and my 4 kids in an accident that night because someone didn’t do their job and thoroughly inspect the car. At this point I DO NOT trust Germain Toyota!!!!! We still have not received our vehicle back dealing with the transmission issue and at this point, I don’t want it back! I don’t trust that the service department is taking it through a full safety inspection, they are just fixing items as WE bring it to their attention. Items that should have been checked throughout simple safety run-throughs. Other people need to be aware of issues like this because if we don’t take care of each other, who will? We know Germain won’t because they are just trying to sell a vehicle. I hope this review and account of what happened to my family helps other potential buyers in some way.

We bought our Rav4 last spring, and I have used the dealership 3 times now. My first was for an oil change and I needed a part on my door replaced while I still had my warranty. They needed to order the part, and said they would call me back, and they never did. I came back for an oil change and was very happy they extended my package due to covid that had another free one. I said I would be staying and waiting. It took them 2 and a half hours. I did not complain I figured they were just having a weird day. I took my car in the other day bc the tire was losing air. It took them an hour and 45 minutes (with my appointment) to tell me there was a nail that couldn’t be fixed. I ok’d them to replace the tire. It was $286 for that work (I had waited so long already I wanted it done, but CLEARLY they were over charging). I sat for ANOTHER hour and 15 minutes with my 4 year old so they could put my expensive tire on. After a total of 3 hours, sitting in the lobby, and the lobby emptied TWICE. I was told a tool they used for the tire wasn’t working (eye roll) I would have preferred the truth that they did everyone else first. That will be my very last experience at the dealership.

I went to Germain Toyota the evening of Tuesday Sept. 15 to look for a 2012-2014.5 Camry, as that was a specific body style I’ve always loved (I didn’t like the 2015-2017 models). I test drove a 2012 LE and a 2014.5 SE and purchased the SE from Cody Close. Cody was an amazing no-pressure salesman who walked me through the process and answered all the questions I threw at him, as it was my first time buying a car with financing. I wound up purchasing the SE, as it was my favorite color and it was more affordable than the LE. I also dealt with Demetrius in Finance; he was amazing and helped me understand why GAP insurance is so needed. He also sold me protection plans that will come in handy (wheel/tire as well as electronics) later on. I would recommend dealing with Cody and Demetrius when going to Germain. They also let me borrow a loaner vehicle while I had brake work done on the SE the next day, instead of me having to pay for the rental out of pocket. Finally they also helped me get a windshield repair scheduled at no cost to me. If you need a Toyota dealer in Central Ohio to work with, Germain Toyota is the right choice!

Brandon Hood was awesome and helped fix a problem I was stressing about quite a bit. He is the man to ask for if you need results! Even though my car is no longer under warranty Brandon and his team went,above and beyond to address a rear sun screen failure. They even gave me a loaner car free of charge due to the lengthy time required to fix my issue. I highly recommend Germain’s service department with striving to keep customers happy doing whatever it takes. They really stand behind the Toyota name with integrity and honesty.
