Updated after my experience with service. If you need a car or service done on your vehicle Lithia is the place to go. Gary and Daniel in service were great. I bought a Ford Escape from them this year and it came with a limited warranty. Shortly after I bought it I had to bring it in for a noise it was making. They tried to recreate it and weren’t able to even after several days. Then recently I brought it to my normal mechanic for another reason that ended up being tied to the original noise. I let Lithia know and they promptly got me in and repaired the car all at no charge because of the warranty. Thank you for taking care of me.
|We had a great experience working with Danny and even though it appeared to be a very long buying process, it was nice to have Danny take the extra time to show how all the safety technology/Eyesight worked since there was a lot to cover. He also showed genuine enthusiam as he was covering the Eyesight portion of the car so it made it a fun buying experience. |My boyfriend and I recently went into lithia Subaru looking to buy a used car. The first time we went in we test drove a used outback, we were helped by Daniel, the experience was great, he was very friendly, informative and never once was he pushy. We wanted to think about it a little bit before purchasing. A few weeks later we went back in and test drove a brand new outback. This time we were helped by Danny because Daniel was busy with another customer. He was great, never pushy, gave his honest opinion, and found us exactly what we were looking for, we walked out with a brand new car! |When it comes time to buy a new car, I get this sinking feeling in my stomach. Negotiating with aggressive salespeople is never fun and I always feel exhausted and completely drained at the end of the day. Not this time, though. Barry was awesome! Barry knew his stuff and is the kind of guy you want to be friends with right off the bat. He was not pushy and he had all kinds of interesting stuff to talk about while we were waiting for the finance manager to prepare our paperwork. He really seems to enjoy working with people and his number one concern was making sure we were getting the car that best met our needs. I really like his approach to sales, like I said, not pushy at all, he listens and is a genuinely pleasant person to work with. |For me, buying a car has never been a pleasant experience. In fact, it has always been stressful. Pushy sales people, long lines for financing, no food/ snacks and, in one case, no water either. My experience at Lithia Oregon City Subaru, however, was completely different. When we got there, we were greeted by Barry. He was incredibly knowledgeable, very easy to work with and not pushy in any way. He let us take our time on the lot and look at other vehicles even after we’d made our decision (just to make sure). He was also very personable and genuine. Finally, he got us EXACTLY what we wanted. Two cars at roughly the same price that we were paying per month for our trade-in (something even we thought was impossible). Because of him, we plan to go back to Oregon City Subaru for our next car buying adventure. Thanks Barry!|

She was accommodating, NEVER pushy and when I said I had a quote from another dealer she immediately responded that they’ll price match, saving me another drive as well as earning future business.|
I purchased a new vehicle once before, maybe 25 years ago and it was the classic nightmare scenario. I went in prepared to do BATTLE. I never felt anything but respect. Not only will I recommend Lithia of Oregon City but Michelle specifically. She was great from start to finish.

Bobby Fisher in service is kind, but his team neglected to find a leak in four days what took me less than ten minutes of idling to reproduce. Now they want me to bring it back AGAIN. Did I mention I only JUST bought this car?

|The sales lady Michelle was very nice, it was when we got into the contract ppl when I get displeased, they got pushy about their free oil changes and tried to push extended contracts with me, if I would have wanted one I would have asked, which I didn’t want, since we already had a set price for the car with the credit union, I just hate being drug into a separate room to finish a sale, . We have had dealings with their oil changes, they don’t take appointments , we live in Sandy. PS their customer parking sucks , must park on the road, very dangerous area ..|

My salesperson Annie was awesome, very straightforward about everything and a pleasure to work with but the finance person I was sent to was AWFUL, he kept bringing me the wrong paperwork, never returned my calls, and even worse was rude to the bank that I was trying to finance through an hung up on them so they canceled my loan and never even told me about it before going on vacation! The upper management that I talked to told me I was wrong until they actually looked into it and didn’t seem to care that any of this happened. If you do buy a vehicle here I’m sure the salespeople are nice but be careful of your finance person and double check everything they do!
|I am one of the few that actually enjoy the car shopping process but my visit here stopped the shopping process right away. Roman showed my the cars that fit my criteria with never being pushy. I’m in sales and I really appreciated his approach. The test drive at most dealerships is typically the smoothest roads. Not here. A very nice long test drive across every possible type of road. Paperwork was efficient and painless. Geoff in finance was very easy to work with. I was on the road in a very clean low mile car in about 2 hours. After the sale Roman had reached out to check in which is very nice. Highly recommend these guys.|

She kept in touch over the next week to help with used-car inventory, even pushing a car I was curious about ahead in the inspection queue so I could test drive it. I ended up buying a different car, but the process was really smooth. Got no pressure from Michelle; she answered my questions frankly and honestly. Knew her stuff. Overall good experience.|
|My husband and I walked in and Barry greeted us immediately. We gave him what we were looking for and we were on a test drive in less than 20 mins. Now in my opinion, Barry’s route for our test drive was on point. Being it was my first time handling a Subaru, our route was filled with steep hills, windy turns and even a steep windy turn. It definitely allowed us to see what it could handle! Not to mention, Barry was easy going and genuine and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way! |I will never buy another vehicle from this dealer! Not only was I lied to when I bought the car, but I was lied to by the shop when I brought it in for service. So recently, I started to experience a malfunctioning on my 2014 Outback brake light. It would flash even after I released the parking brake. I was told after waiting an hour and a half that they verified the brake pads and I had about a 7 out of 10 remaining on my brakes. The problem was “that I must have driven with my brake on”, which was simply untrue! I took their word for it and left, hoping the light would no longer flash since they claim they cleared that error code from the computer. The next day I took it to Les Schwab to get new tires. When they were done, they told me that my back brake pads would need to be replaced soon. They showed me on their gauge tool that it was not at 7, but at about a 3 or 4! My jaw dropped. How could my brake pads need replacing when Subaru verified and gave me documentation stating they are at about a 7 and would not need replacing. I called and asked to speak to a manager. I got Daniel P. I told him flat out that his shop lied to me. They lied that they did a brake inspection. I waited for nothing that day. They kept me there and made me believe they were working on resolving my issue when in actuality, they simply handed the car back to me untouched. Daniel said he would get to the bottom of it, and encouraged me to bring the car back in. More lies! He only told me what I wanted to hear. He didn’t care to get to the bottom of anything! When they called me, they stated that they measured it themselves and said it was about a 4. No explanation at all.|
No care in the world for my safety. Needless to say, I’m not happy with their services. It makes me wonder what else they cut corners on. I have a lifetime oil change and I wonder if they even verify what they claim to verify. Once you see this kind of behavior, it disgusts you and makes it impossible to trust them again. My next step is to contact Subaru of America and i’m going to file a complaint against this dealership and their service shop.

|I recently bought a 2018 Subaru Forester from Lithia Oregon City Subaru. I used the Costco program and this was the dealer I was referred to. I had been researching cars and dealers for over a year. My first contact was Annie Cook. I knew what I wanted and what the price should be. Annie worked with me until I had the car I wanted for a much better price than I had been quoted through a broker. She was so professional and patient as she took me through the lots to make the final color decision. I was extremely pleased with the price and there was no bargaining. My car had the Eyesight package and Braedon another employee took me on a drive to make sure I was comfortable with it. He was great because I was very reticent to use it and he taught me to “trust” it.|
When I picked up the car Braedon and Annie were there to meet me and Annie installed the accessories I purchased. I felt I had a team working for me to get the car I wanted. Do your research and you will know this is the right place with the right price.

|I use Lithia because they honor a lifetime of free oil changes on my car even though it isn’t a Subaru my extended warranty is with Lithia. I’ve been going there for 8 years and find it to be a great place with honest friendly service. The waiting area is warm an friendly as well for the whole family including the four legged ones if you chose to bring them|
|I got a car which had an ungodly lemon scent in it. Could not figure it out. Then my seatbelts had chew marks and my husbands sweatshirt was eaten through. They told me i had a mouse in it. They sold me a car with a mouse in it, damaged seat belts and a buldge in the tire. Currently i have been waiting 210 days for tags. How do I know that? Well they gave me one 30 day pass and now i am on the end of my second 90 day trip permit.|

|This is one of my favorite places to get cars whether new or used. Sometimes, it takes a long time to go through a process of buying a car. In in that time I get hungry and most places have just popcorn or nothing. But NOT, Lithia Subaru of Oregon City, they have hot dogs and bananas and muffins and water and juice they even have a play area for children.|
They are very kind and caring and they don’t attack you. I always make an appointment even when looking around. This way I could test drive any vehicle. The sales staff and the accounting staff are wonderful. Melinda is amazing, she even drove back to my house to pick up stuff that we left accidentally that was needed for the trade-in. How often does the salesperson do that for you so you don’t have to go all the way back and I live in Vancouver Washington. Tom was a great help too.

|I took my 14 Forester here for it’s 60K service today (12/8/2017). The experience was fine, everyone was friendly and they were faster than expected. Unfortunately on my way home I got a warning that the brake fluid level was low. In my opinion, this is something that should definitely have been caught by any sort of quality inspection, which leads me to believe they didn’t really bother to have anyone actually inspect or drive my car before returning it to me.|
Now what do I do? Do I assume everything else they did was OK? This is the safety of my family I’m dealing with. I drove all the way back to them for them to fix this error, but I wasn’t happy about it, and didn’t know what to ask for. Do I trust the same shop to look over the rest of their work or pay another shop to make sure it’s all OK? I don’t have confidence that they did a good job on anything and I’m a little frightened to ask them to do more work after making a glaring error like this. I wish I had gone somewhere else, so I could feel better about driving around in my car right now. The reason I took it to the dealership was specifically to avoid this kind of thing. As I don’t know a whole lot about cars, it’s really difficult to find somewhere you can trust.
|I just bought my Jeep Liberty here at Lithia Subaru and it was an amazing experience. Everyone was helpful, and no one was super pushy (as you would thing a dealership would have pushy salesmen). My experience was amazing, and even though I didn’t go with the car we originally wanted, they gave me the next best thing and helped me through it all. Devon was very sweet and funny, and showed me the car, and let me test drive. Michelle had helped me through the process. It was a long process, but she was so understanding and super patient with me. It was a wonderful experience and I would TOTALLY recommend this to everyone I know!|

|I have a 2017 VW GTI for sale on Craigslist. Over the last 2 days I have been texting a young buyer with little funds who had needed to borrow money from his sister to scrape up enough money to make me a meager offer. After deciding to help the kids out, he asked if a “friend” could do an inspection and i was asked to drive the GTI to Lithia Subaru for the inspection? Because of the very good deal I was giving this kid, I refused to take time off of work to coordinate this drive across town inspection. I assured the kid that the car was clean and I was not trying to scam him. But I would not deliver my almost new car (3500 miles) for inspection!!|
