Best deals here in Washington state.. thats why my wife and I drove over 2 hours one way to come here. We ended up buying the 2020 mustang gt convertible California Special. We love the car so we bought it. During the inspection of the car we noticed a small tear in the leather driver side seat not a big deal but I did point it out to the salesman he told me they’d fix it no problem “they must have accidentally ripped it when taking the protection off the car seat” so I took his word and moved on. Short story after all the paperwork was filled out and they handed me the keys that tear in my leather seat was never mentioned and never repaired. So my advice is don’t fill out any paperwork until you have them fix anything on the car first then the paperwork can be started. Overall experience was ok. Price was 3k cheaper then up North.
We purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Ford Edge from Mullinax Ford of Olympia on Dec. 1st. 2020. It was one of the best buying experiences I have ever had from the time we met our awesome sales person, Jon Robison, and the Finance guy and the Service Dept. and all their staff. I don’t have one bad thing to say. Everybody was super friendly and it was a no pressure situation. We had some good laughs and really just wanted to stay a little longer. We had a few issues that needed attention and the Service Dept. and their staff, which includes Kayla and the Service Dept. Manager, Josue, bent over backwards for us! I recommend them 100 percent!

Last night, my husband and I went in to look for a new Explorer and were referred to Ben by a friend for help. He was wonderful! Purchased a 2019 Ford Edge 9/4, worked with salesman Steve. This experience rivaled the one last year when we bought my husband’s 2019 Ford F150. Best experiences ever buying vehicles. Our trade-ins got top dollar and on Cargurus, my Edge showed that Mullinax was below the value so I didn’t even need to try and negotiate a lower price. Got great financing through Ford Motor Company and Dan got me an excellent deal on my warranty, also through Ford Motor Company. This is not the same dealership as before!!!!!! Great experience with Jon Robison and the Mullinax Ford team. I already knew what I wanted and had a vehicle to trade. They gave me a little more than what I was hoping for on my trade and gave me a great price on my truck. Working with Jon was an easy and stress free process, and I’d HIGHLY recommend calling Jon and working with Mullinax if you’re in the market for a vehicle.
Personnel are soo friendly when they are unable to answer a question or provide reasonable information it’s blamed on the company. I felt the dealership was more interested in keeping the car on their lot rather than selling it to me. If this is the “company’s “ way of doing business they can keep every car they got on their lot.
|They claim do not have any dealer fees, however “Additional Dealer Markup” does not count as a dealer fee. They do get an extra star for being upfront with that fact their slogan is misleading and seem to be genuinely nice. They told me their mark up was less than other dealers, however most other dealers do not actually charge an addition dealer markup, only some do. Just means if you want a specialty vehicle you have to leave Olympia to save several thousand. I bought a new Raptor at sticker the same day 40 miles away.|
|If I could give 0 stars I would. My 1st red flag was when I initially was financing my vehicle I had $9000 cash down. I remember the representative spreading the money out on his desk and stepping back to take a photo for his social media. The second red flag was going over warranty options. none of they’re options were reasonable. Now after owning my truck for just over a year and 13000 mi. The transmission has gone out and will be a min ot $4000 to be replaced. I called today to talk to the Sales Manager to express my situation and to see if anything could be done from there end. Maybe a discounted replacement or anything they could offer… rather no options were provided, not even a phone number to a service shop to get it fixed. Or even the “let me go ask my boss” …. I stated I will never shop at mullinax again. The response I recieved was “thats fine” Suming this up ive had a really sour experience with Mullinax and knowing if I saw a review like this when I was shopping around I would have shopped elsewhere.|

|Had a great experience working with Gordon Abear during the purchase of my new F150. I really liked that I was able to look at the new inventory of F150s without being followed and pressured. Once I found what I liked Gordon arranged the test drive and provided excellent customer service throughout the entire buying process. The Finance team also did a awesome job with obtaining a low interest rate and with the speed of completing the paperwork. Buying a new cell phone would take longer. The only issue that I have had is with the Truck. I found a few scratched on the hood after the purchase and there is a whistling sound coming from the transmission. The Mullinax Service team, without hesitation, has already taken care of the scratches and have parts on order to correct the transmission issue. Overall, to this point, I have had a 5 star experience with Mullinax Ford and would highly recommend Gordon Abear and the rest of the Mullinax team for your next vehicle purchase.|

|We respected the social distancing in place at the time and my husband contacted a salesman via phone and text. We live over an hour away so we worked out our trade in and price of new vehicle including financing options, over the course of two days. We were also told that his manager had lowered prices on some cars today and ours was one of them. Upon arriving at the dealership, after a 1 hr and 10 min trip, we were informed by the finance department that the reduction in price was only if we chose the 6.9% Ford financing. BUYER BEWARE! They may not have a second sticker but the advertised price on the vehicle is only if you use their financing options which is a higher interest rate and longer term! Very deceptive and a huge waste of our time. Yes we do have a thread of text discussions and voicemails that support this. This dealership engages in the unethical practice of getting the customer in the show room then subjecting them to unscrupulous pricing games.|
|What an amazing dealership. The sales reps where so kind with all my questions. i was really torn between a Ford and a Chevy SUV. They where understanding and didn’t say anything bad about the other dealerships vehicle trying to get me to purchase from them. They let me test drive any vehicle and helped me understand all the tech in each one. I can be very difficult with a lot of questions and doing side by side comparisons. This is my 10 year car and i worked hard to get a vehicle that i wanted to fit all my needs and whats. They understood and helped me over a few days to get to what i needed. Inventory was low at a lot of dealerships and we have traveled up and down the I-5 corridor trying to find the perfect vehicle and one thing that i noticed that the sales people where never interested in helping us if they where not going to get a quick sale. Or they just assumed we couldn’t afford it…. Not with Mullinax they did not care that we were not ready to purchase yet and still treated us with so much respect. I made a few trips to the dealership with questions to make sure this was the right vehicle. There was no pressure on me to buy right away they showed me all my buying options and left me to make the decision without pressure. They also showed me the extended warranty and did not push me into purchasing it right away just gave me the information and let me look into it in my own time. I am now the proud owner of a 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum edition and i could not be happier. Two days later i had a list of questions about the warranty and the sales rep took the time to respectfully answer every question with detail. And to add this is my second vehicle that we have purchase from them. in 2018 we purchased a 2018 ford f-150 xlt and they where just as amazing with that purchase as well, and next year when my daughter is ready for her car we will be back.|
Don’t waste your time trying to schedule a service here. Calls go to voicemail and they don’t return your calls. Been trying to schedule a simple oil change for two weeks now. Lakewood Ford answered right away, so I’m dealing with them from now on.
2 month transaction out of state. Received the car damaged. Cant register it. Stuck with a car note but cant drive it. Dealership not responding to phone calls, emails or texts. Matt Gonzales is amazing! This has been by far, my best car buying experience! He made the whole process a breeze, and he was super honest and upfront about everything. You can tell this dealership takes pride in their business, and they CARE about the customer and provide outstanding customer service. Matt did everything he could and went above and beyond to get me into the rig of my dreams, and I couldn’t honestly be happier! The whole staff there is very personable, professional, and welcoming. Matt and I did a lot of talking, not just about the purchase, but about family, our lives, and told funny stories. I can’t say how thankful I am that I got to work with him. My situation is not the most common, so I didn’t have high hopes and really didn’t think it would be possible, but it all worked out because he busted his butt to make it happen. There was no trying to up sell anything, or get me to change my mind on the rig I wanted, and no pressure whatsoever for anything. Easiest vehicle transaction I have ever done. Mostly nice people but I was there twice and both times I had some issue, last time when I was there One of the guys at the quick lane did not seem to care much when calculating services intervals and parts that should be changed, he told me that my car needs new spark plugs at 60k miles and transmission cleaning, where the owners manual says 100k for spark plugs and 140 k or something for transmission, and later after asking him several times he said that he calculated my service for severe use and I never told him that I use my car severely. And the time before when I went there, they forgot to rotate the tires and did not tell me but when I asked them if they did it or not they said they did not find the lug nut lock. But they never bother to ask me, I was sitting right there or they could call me. (Note very caring people)

|Sales department and upfront pricing is fantastic. Service leaves alot to be desired. One week after purchasing a 2020 F150 the battery was bad and intermittently would not start. Went into the service dept first thing Tuesday after Labor Day and was told they were three weeks out. After some arm twisting they said they could get it done that day if I could leave the vehicle but I had no ride and my infant daughter was with me. Also no loaners. At this point after an angry exchange I finally got them to change out the battery (took them an hour), but they were unable to run the diagnostics due to time… Value Ford in Elma and Five Star Ford in Aberdeen were both able to get my truck in within the week. Moral of the story: Buy your car here, sales dept is fantastic. But DO NOT expect the same experience with their service department.|

Also, a special thank you to Chad James who referred me to Jon as Chad was not on duty that day. Although I was looking for a Ford Escape I stumbled across a 2020 Ford EcoSport. I was a little surprised at the great price considering all the features. Jon explained to me that this vehicle was a loaner SUV with less than 5,000 miles. I felt zero need to look at other vehicles. SOLD! Jon is great! He is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. What a delight to work with him! High marks to Bobb-I Pruess as well. The 2 or 3 times I’ve had my car serviced here, the service itself was great, BUT it was extremely hard to get a hold of anyone in the service department to schedule my appointment. Most times I called, I would go through the automated system to the service appointment line, and nobody would answer. Other times, the scheduler would pick up, but if I needed to speak to a service advisor, they would transfer the call and none of the advisors would pick up. For one of my oil changes I had to go in person to schedule to make sure I was able to speak to someone. My car currently needs to be serviced, but after trying 5 times throughout the day to schedule it, I ended up making an appointment with a dealer nearly 30 minutes from my home in Olympia just due to the fact that they answered the phone first try.
My wife and I stopped in to look at a three row SUV. Mike greeted us at the car and set us up with a test drive. After taking the car for a test drive we decided it wasn’t for us. Mike wrote down exactly what we were looking for and called us within a week about an SUV they got in that fit the bill. Mike was great to work with, not pushy, really went above and beyond to find us exactly what we were looking for! A+ to Mike and Mullinax!
